Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) in Bath and North East Somerset

As we ordered vegetarian burger there was two options and staff didn’t bothered to ask which burger we want just because they were sold out of the bean patty they served us beyond meat patty and when we asked them that we didn’t ordered they started arguing

Just got a missed call from this restaurant even though I've never even been there. Must be some sort of scam!

Absolutely shocking service waited a hour and half for my food just for them to cancel the order and not answer the phone. I will not be ordering off these again.

We came to bath with no real plans and came across this GBK- the one near where we live closed down a while ago (Canterbury) and we’ve missed it ever since so had to stop by and it did not disappoint one bit. Incredible burgers and fries- the wings seasoning was a little average but overall the meal was superb

3 days later and still waiting. Order didnt arrive. Not the restaurants fault. Just Eat to blame. Asked for a refund. "Its not company policy" Asked for proof of delivery. They could not provide POD. No takeaway treat but I still had to pay. Thievery

I had the chicken burger with Korean sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a real burger with a unique flavor, this place is a must-visit. The sauce adds the perfect kick without being overwhelming. Highly recommend!

Stood waiting for 10 minutes watching staff laughing and chatting. Eventually one staff member left the open kitchen and approached us. He then told us the had received a large phone order and vouldnt guarentee when we could be served. The restaurant was less than 10% full and so we left.

Do not tip these people, the service was unacceptable even for a quick food joint. Ordered at 7:26, food arrived 8:15, on a slow night with many empty tables and no food delivery collections. Server was reminded twice for water which never came.

I was in Bath for only one day and it was not planned. When I was looking for a place to have Lunch, most of the places I called did not take my card. Finally I found a pizza place and was heading towards it when I arrived I stopped by this place and asked if they accept my card. The answer was yes and it happened to be really good!!! I was surprised by the taste of the meat, the sauce, how fresh the ingredients tasted and the fries. It is good that I will definitely go all the way to Bath just for this burger.

Not bad at all. taste was good, could have done with more choices for sauces though. also the food wasn't exactly hot but that's cos burgers and chips cool down pretty quickly, not ideal as a takeaway. over all, not bad 😊

Cold food, long wait, forgot my drink

My classmate said that he had eaten it a few times and thought it was good. We went together to try the burger and it was indeed good. There is a student discount for ordering by showing your student card or logging in to their APP with an education email address.

Always get a good price for a very decent burger. Went in at approximately half 6 - was not too busy and received my food very quick and good quality! Even discount code for next visit. HIGHLY recommend!

Most importantly a lot of the chips were stale! Both the burger and the bottom bun were disintegrating when I tried to pick it up. £4 for a lot of stale fries, massively over priced. And over £12 for a substandard burger also very over priced!

My son wanted his favourite burger, but he noticed it had been removed from the menu. He had a chat with the staff and the Chef was kind enough to make it for him. Thank you Chef for making the Satay Chicken burger. Onion rings amazing, The Rocket Man... Medium Rare... Perfect 👌

Tasty burgers, friendly service, but felt very expensive! Over £80 for burger & chips for 4. Toilets could use some attention as very dirty.

IMPORTANT!: if you have a problem with your order don’t ring the restaurant. That’s what I did. I phoned 3 minutes after the order was confirmed to try and change something. When the order arrived the item hadn’t been changed. So I phone the restaurant, oddly enough the person who took my first phone call remembers speaking to me, yet doesn’t remember what we spoke about 🙄! Funnily enough this experience really meant I could not enjoy the meal at all! Oh and also the fries were delivered cold. All in all, if you want a good meal and good customer service then do not order from here, as you will be very disappointed!

The server behind the bar, young chap with glasses, refused to give us special burger and fries deal, How can I pay £80 for the same thing which would cost £40 , in spite the restaurant was empty, we would have still spent £70 quid but no courtesy was shown to us at all.

Best chain burger ever in my humble opinion, I did choose uni of Bath over university of Manchester, simply cuz they don’t have GBK there, savage. Btw highly recommend the Crispy wings.

Arrived two hours after ordering, a full hour later than the time initially estimated, by which time my son had already had to leave.

Completely burnt onion rings, literally black. That with soggy chicken wings made it a very bad experience.

Ordered at 16.55 for 19.00 hoping for an on time delivery. Was 35 mins late. Beef burgers and onion rings were really nice, but the fries were soggy and undercooked, the chicken burger had chewy bits and was dripping in pesto oil. Previous order was much better!

Waited 25min for burger, fries, my fries were warm and clumped together, my burger broke into 3, and my bun so mushy had to eat burger pattie with hand. Bit disappointed was feeling like good bacon n cheese burger.

Originally ordered for 8pm, turned up nearly 45mins late. Food was cold. Chips had been squashed together and were soggy. Wing sauce had congealed.

Well ordered 3 burgers only two turned up asked for my 3rd order and get a blank look from the waitress she went off to look and never came back so ended up asking for a refund considering it wasn’t busy seems like a simple and stupid mistake to make and with proper communication it could have been resolved instead as a customer I’m left chasing.

Take this as a positive review for Gourmet Burger Kitchen and a very neagtive review on Just Eat as a company. Order placed with GBK at 18:30. Setting on the app says "Preparing your order - The courier is at the restaurant". When I rang the restaurant at 19:20 they say that the order had been prepared for a long time and they were waiting on a driver. App still says "Preparing your order - The courier is at the restaurant" By 19:35 I decide I've had enough and go to go and pick the order up myself. I ring the restaurant as I leave and they say it has been picked up and should be on it's way. App again still says "Preparing your order - The courier is at the restaurant". Order arrived at 20:00 - around half an hour after it was picked up. Food stone cold - this is on Just Eat delivery. GBK quality of food is fantastic (just had to be microwaved). Just Eat service is not. Will not be using this app again. An embarrassment.

Visited with a couple of my friends for a birthday celebration meal and had a great time. This was my favourite place to eat when my husband was studying in Batha few years back and it's hardly changed. Wanted to reserve a table ahead but couldn't so just turned up and had a wait of about 20 minutes. Everyone loved their food and the milkshakes still hit the spot. Will visit again the next time I'm in Bath

How brilliant! The best beef burger I’ve ever have. The beef pie is so juicy and buttery. The onion slices make a lot of zing of the whole.

Visited while with my daughter who was home from Cardiff University. The burgers were perfect, infact probably the nicest I've had. Moist and juicy with just the right amount of everything. They really did look like their menu pictures. Staff were really helpful and friendly throughout our visit. I will definitely return for another visit.

Ordered online for delivery, tracked order via the app. App states it's been delivered, yet no food has been received. This is not the first time this has happened.

We sometime have food here and it's usually good but we visited last Thursday and my husband's chips were soaked in oil (seemed to have been fried at a low temperature). My salad was also full of grit so hasn't been washed well. What a shame, service is friendly and we always liked the menu but probably won't be back

Utterly terrible. One of our burgers was missed leaving the other to go stone cold. The burger that wasnt missed didn't get made properly either. It took an hour and a half to finally get the first burger remade AND IT WAS WRONG. Nevermind there was a rock solid stalk of avocado in it. Do they blend the whole thing or something??? A child could have choked on that.

The food was over an hour late,stone cold food and even the coke can was room temperature it had been out that long,awful service and I wont order from GBK in the future.

Nice Burger Restaurant in the Railway Arches near the station. I went early after work as I needed something to eat, and it was reasonably quiet, but I'm sure as the evening goes on, it will get a lot busier. Service was fast and friendly, and it was clean and tidy. I had cheese and bacon burgers with a side of sweet potato fries. It was lovely. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable value and good hot food 😋 will definitely be back

I tried the Korean BBQ Burger and it was exceptional. To drink I had a chocolate milkshake which was excellent as well. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault it.
