Gossip in Peterborough

I had the Turkish Breakfast and a cappuccino. The breakfast included a selection of meats, cucumber, tomatoes, feta, olives, 2 eggs and a really lovely fresh bread with honey butter and jam. Also included was Turkish tea which was a nice touch. Good value for money, good tasting fresh ingredients, good staff and very clean and pleasant. Will be returning next time I’m working over this way!

In my way looking for a Portuguese bakery,I found this place. I just drink a coffe, but is a nice place with a very tasty coffe,kind staff and cheaper than other brand coffees like Costa o Starbucks. My next time in Peterborough I will back for another delicious coffe

My family and I have been coming here for their Turkish breakfast which is very delicious! It comes with free Turkish tea! I’ve had their panini’s which also comes with a nice salad and their crepes are to die for! The staff are very friendly and very attentive. It’s our new spot!

Drinks are Slightly expensive compared to ambiance and compared tto other place of same kind however good indoor and outdoor seating area, safe and excellent custoner service and definately had an good time watching football with mates

Gossip is part of my morning ritual. Amazing coffee. Beautiful ambiance. I often come here with my kids. They love the freshly prepared crepe! Highly recommended this place. 🙏

I just happened upon this place, and I'm glad i went in. Lovely cafe, friendly staff, and it was a comfortable place to be. Coffee was superb, chocolate croissant was lovely. I will be back, and I would definitely recommend it.

Entramos con un grupo de 8 de nosotros, que decía Desayuno Inglés en el menú, y solo 3 personas más en y era alrededor de 945 am, y no tenían tocino o salchichas. cuando nos dieron un desayuno de algún tipo que estaba frío, que volvió y las judías estaban en el microondas y los huevos todavía fríos. hicieron disculpas pero la comida no era para nosotros. no todos tuvimos un desayuno algunos tenían pastel que era roca dura del congelador.

We just popped in for a coffee and some milk for the kids. Great coffee and clean toilets. Super friendly staff!

Very nice cafe! Food is lovely - feels like the people working there actually put love into it, so we'll done team! Sometimes it feels crowded but I don't wonder why because it is a nice place to chill!

Ordered a takeaway from this place. Food arrived but it appeared to be the wrong order. I ordered an English breakfast and received a vegetarian breakfast. I tried to call the restaurant using the number provided (a mobile number) the person that answered said he no longer works there so can't help with my problem. I tried the food that arrived but the veggy sausage was very over cooked and tasted horrible, mushrooms and beans had no flavour, eggs and hashbrowns also over cooked. I've ordered from here in the past and it's been great, not sure what's happened.

Who puts egg, cheese and onion in a chicken mayo. I'm not even sure this is the chicken mayo I ordered, but I'm hungry so I'm eating it. Coffee is decent, service was fast

Had a calamari and tempura prawn tapas, the tempura was alright, but 4 of 5 prawns are cut in half, only 1 full prawn in the plate. That's not the worst part, it's sounds hilarious that The calamari wasn't had any suid in it, it's deep fried dough, like firm donuts looks like calamari🤣 15 pounds product with 3 pounds + VAT on top, what a experience

Lovely atmosphere and really helpful staff!

Been working above it for some time now, but only introduced recently. For my sins I used to go to the greggs (which is also below us). But the coffee, fresh flatbreads and service won me over. thumbs up

Really lovely spot! Gossip is nicely located just off the high street, so it's easy to find and has long opening hours. The food is delicious - I love the baklava and waffles - and the drinks are also great. Finally, the staff are friendly and helpful, which gives Gossip a great atmosphere. I've been here by myself to do a little work and with friends, and we've never had a bad trip.

Great service in a quite café in the centre of town. I had a delicious Turkish breakfast and a strong cappuccino. I found myself a nice corner to get through my emails for an hour or so.

The decor is unattractive. The staff are polite. They have got rid of the screen showing very unappealing videos which is a plus. The snacks look attractive but are clearly not made on the premises. There was a large family with a screaming child running around completely out of control. The coffee is good.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and ended staying for an hour or so! Food was delicious, fast and tasted like it looked. Amazing!

Don't normally leave reviews but this is such a warm and welcoming place that I thought I'd make an exception. Had a fantastic vegetarian breakfast and then took away a lovely coffee. Great value for money. Staff incredibly friendly. Thoroughly recommend it

Very nice addition to Peterborough town centres limited coffee shop offerings. Lovely decor, nice, fresh coffee and refreshingly low prices. Would recommend.

I had almost given up trying to find somewhere nice for breakfast in the centre of Peterborough. I was so happy to find this place. It opened very recently (May 2021) and is a calm oasis with friendly staff. I was greeted with a warm smile and I felt very welcome. I had a light breakfast (tea, with toast, butter and jam). The presentation was amazing, and I even got some free olives with it! I was so impressed. If you are in Peterborough and you need a bite to eat, or even just a coffee or tea, please visit this cafe. This business deserves to succeed.
