Gordon Ramsay Street Burger - Covent Garden in City of London, Westminster

The burgers taste good, but they're relatively small and nothing special. I wouldn't call it a street food burger. The fries were unfortunately too salty.

It was phenomenal food, and our waiter Ansh was super nice and timely. Will definitely come back!!

My favorite burger spot. Jfc burger is easily the best on the menu and the sticky toffee pudding my word what a treat. Would go back just to try the pudding and last but not the least the service by Ansh was excellent. Thank you

I haven’t experience such bad service in so long and i was being mistreated the moment i walked in. Cause i look a certain way one of the first things the waiter says to me and my friend when walking in was we dont take cash, card payment only. They only said it to us and no one else after us. Then just the continuous staring during our lunch and it just made us uncomfortable. The food was good though but they are racist

Arrived as a walk-in. Promptly shown to a table. Very friendly staff. Real service with a smile! Katarina was especially helpful. A slight problem with my meal was dealt with quickly and with courtesy. The food was delicious. Relaxed ambience. Music a little too loud for me. Comfortable temperature and seating.

The chilli cheese smash burger is delicious and the fries are good however on the chicken avocado burger the chicken was very dry. Definitely on the expensive side for burgers.

The food was quite good, but we did have to ask 3 times to get some water and the waiter was quite hesitant to allow us to make amendments like swapping sauces which I understand but he made it happen! A couple of food items arrived cold, but these were quickly swapped out and we even got an Extra portion

Good burger with bite, but a little hyped by the Gordon Ramsey name. It was bitterly cold so we sat with our jackets on while we ate. It wasn't so nice. No service and they automatically impose a 15 percent service fee on the bill, which you can change by contacting a waiter. Not so nice.

The food was very nice if pricey but I'm not here to write about that. I used the QR code on the table to view the menu, order and pay. Soon after finishing the meal I received a notification from my bank asking me to confirm a payment using the card miles away across town at the Tower Hotel, and later again another attempt to use it at 'One Stop Caribbean' elsewhere in the city. Had to cancel the card but luckily had some cash to tide me over for the rest of the trip.

Besides being ripped off by random surcharges (swapping £4 fries for £5 ones cost us £2.5 somehow, math isn't a thing here), unjustified higher than average service charge, the kitchen staff constantly on the phone before handling your food with the same dirty hands, and salt-coated fries, the beef was decent enough, and food was served quickly (but it was mostly empty). I'd say there's no need to book.

Ramsay is cashing in his reputation for quick $ with this restaurant. I've eaten burgers at many places in UK, and I can confidently say that Ramsay Burgers is average in terms of taste - it's better than Mc'donalds, some Pubs at fishing villages, and those Pizza Kebab places that coincidentally serve burgers. But it's worse than many in-land Pubs, and dedicated burger places like 7Bone, Patty & Bun, etc. Burgers are dry with barely any sauces and for some in my groip they were overcooked. Fries are bought off-the-shelf - they just cook frozen fries with all the chemistry in them. Many components have unaturrally strong flavour (not in a good way) - it's as they've been soaked in glutamate. Given this and the fries situation, I genuinely wonder whether the patties of the burgers are bought from "Ice Land" as well, but I guess we'll never know. It was also awkward seeing that waiters wear jumpers saying idiot on their back - feels degrading. When it comes to the interior of the place, it doesn't give off the feeling that it's a restaurant belonging to a world class cheff. Instead, the vibe they for feels more like an abandoned public bathroom: narrow, cramped, dark, with graffiti all over the place. That said, with prices being higher than all of these much, much better places, I don't recomnend going to Ramsay burgers unless you had a day that was just too good and you wish to bring it down with a little disappointment.

The Idiot Burger was seriously good, juicy, messy, and full of flavor. But the prices? Absolutely out of this moon. Be warned, going with a family of four could make you have to run for it. Tasty, but not worth going broke for.

Early Tuesday evening when we visited so it was not overly busy and we were seated immediately as walk-ins. By the time we left it was getting much busier. I had the chilli cheese smash burger and my wife had the vegan smash burger (both with fries). Quality was excellent and quantity was large. Considering it's just off Covent Garden and has Ramsey's name associated with it I'd say it's decent value for money and would repeat.

Food was nothing special. Service was super friendly. Not particularly local during the day either.

THERE ARE SCAMS!!! So there are two parts to this review. Food and warnings. I’ll start with warnings. On the menu, it says 18£ for a burger and fries, so I’m like “great”. And yeah, it is 18£… if you don’t get fooled by your server. They come up to the table and ask you regular questions that you would expect, but some of them at scams. The waiter asked me if I wanted plain fries of sweet potato fries. Ok, normal. But the sweet potato fries actually cost 3.50 more than the regular fries. He didn’t tell us this, so we ended up being charged extra completely unbeknownst to us. Also, he asked us if we would like some onion rings, but that’s actually more too! And even getting water costs 4.50! The food is really good though. I got the butter chicken burger, which was very good and had lots and lots of flavor. Very good food, but don’t get fooled.

They serve tasty burgers but they are a bit overpriced. Burger & chips will cost you more than 20£. Service charge is 15% but there is no justificafion for this high rate as you need to order & pay from your phone. If you are splitting the bill, be careful not to pay for the table as all orders add up per table so you need to choose the items you are paying for. Their atmosphere is chilled so you can stay longer after you finish your meal without being bothered.

Thank you for having us even though we arrived at the last minute. We really appreciated your kindness and good service. The food was good, especially the fries, which were delicious. The burger I ordered was chicken and avocado. Honestly, I didn't like it very much because the chicken flavor was lost with so much lemon. That's the only criticism I have, because everything else was excellent.

My wife and I are Ramsay fans and gave it a go. We stopped by at 11:30am to grab lunch and we were surprised to see an empty restaurant. We were literally the only ones there. Uh oh... empty at lunch isn't a good sign! We sat down to order using the app at the table and waited and waited and waited. We saw several Uber eats drivers (or some other takeaway company) come in to pick up their many orders. Each one taking 2 - 4 bags worth of food while we sat there... THE ONLY patrons in the restaurant... waiting patiently. 40 minutes later, we get our 2 burgers. The burgers were nice but for £18?! Absolutely not worth it. There are SO many burger joints that offer you more for less. Again, the burger was nice but the value is not there at all. It felt like a tasty fast food burger and the portion was quite small. The fries were good but do not waste your time on "dirty fries" unless you like overcooked chicken and some melted "cheese" that had the consistency and taste of Cheese Whiz. We got the sticky toffee milk shake... nothing great at all. I did want to say that the server was a very nice young man. He was apologetic about the wait and checked in with us... it's just clear that we were not the priority. Overall, this is a place to avoid. You pay a lot just for the name and you don't get much out of it. There are.way better burger locations in the area. Skip this one.

Burger is tasty; however they really don’t care how to make people seat across the restaurant. We were with my wife and then they brought 10 idiots full of men next to us and was so much close to us that there was no privacy at all. While leaving even the idiot sitting next to my wife didn’t even try to leave some space to let her out. Will never come back here even the burger tastes nice

I have eaten at all of the Street Burgers in London, and this one was definitely the best. I would recommend the idiot burger with the original fries and the homemade lemonade. Definitely coming back.

Amazing, would visit UK just for the burgers

The food was great, the price is worth it for the quality of the burgers and fries. The waitresses' treatment was excellent and they also had a nice touch by giving us two badges from the restaurant. Without a doubt recommended.

AMAZING burgers and AMAZING service! Hell's kitchen sauce was everything I was expecting and more! Our server Carrick was extremely nice and made sure we got all our food quickly and perfectly well done.

Excited to be here as I had a great experience at the Vegas outlet. Tried their burger, coleslaw, onion rings and it was not great. Best dish was the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Gordon Ramsay’s Street Burger in Covent Garden was a disappointment from start to finish. The food was barely edible. We ordered the Hell’s Kitchen hot burger—which was anything but hot—doubled up and upgraded the fries, and it was a complete waste of money. The flavors were bland, the quality was poor, and for the price, it felt like a total rip-off. But the worst part? The service charge. A 15% gratuity is automatically added when you pay online, which is the only way to pay. Given the mediocre service, this felt completely unjustified. And trying to remove it? Utterly humiliating. There’s no option to adjust it yourself, so you have to flag someone down, turning what should be a straightforward request into an awkward, uncomfortable exchange. The server’s reaction made it clear they weren’t happy about it, and instead of simply removing the charge, they pushed us to change it to another amount—making the whole thing feel anything but “optional.” I always leave gratuity and have no issue with the standard 12.5%, but it’s infuriating when a restaurant tries to force it on you like this. Not everyone feels comfortable asking for it to be removed—I certainly wouldn’t have a few years ago—and no one should be put in that position. Gordon Ramsay should be embarrassed to have his name attached to this place. Avoid at all costs!
