We were there at midday. The 3 girls working gave a really good service, despite being rushed of their feet as the boss was out. Top scran, great prices and superb Everton-related decor.

Yesterday was my dad's 80th birthday. Being a lifetime Everton fan we thought it may be the perfect place. It was more than that!!! The welcome we received was so warm and when they found out it was dad's birthday they were amazing. Carol and Shannon are the loveliest, kindest girls and without doubt made my dad's day. We were so touched by how lovely they were, they even sang him 'Happy Birthday'! They are an absolute asset to this great cafe. We will definitely be back, not just for the great food but to see Carol and Shannon again. Thanks so much girls!

Good food, excellent prices. Full breakfast with tea and toast for £6.50. However (there's always one)... Don't turn up unless you can afford to wait 30 minutes for your order. Service is painfully slow, but actually worth the wait when your food arrives.

First visit. Very impressed. Clean, bright, food not expensive and staff attentive. Even if this was decorated in red it would pass! Seriously, worth a visit.

Visited yesterday, surprised it was not listed on here as it’s literally next to Everton FC. This is a proper no nonsense English cafe. Our breakfast was freshly cooked, was tasty and of good quality- no cheap fatty salty meat. I couldn’t believe how big the barm was and the price was an absolute steal. Friendly service, clean and observing social distancing. We live about 6 miles away but I’ll definitely be back next time I fancy a proper breakfast. Highly recommend! Stones throw from Stanley Park.

We visited as a group of 3 on a busy lunchtime, we were lucky to get a table as it was so busy. It had a great buzz and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional- very tasty and lovely sized portions. I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Liverpool.

The one thing about Liverpool City Centre is there are many interesting old pub's and the Cornmarket is one of the oldest and it's one of the best.Located on Old Ropery'the Cornmarket has a fantastic interior with an old world look and feel. The pub dates from the 18th century and is full of character. The interior to this historic pub has many interesting fixture's and lot's of original feature's.There's wood panelling that was taken from a clipper ship that was called the Reina Del Pacifico and excellent seating options. If you enter from Moor street this pub looks completely different as up to the 1960s this was the Bulls Head pub. This pub was taken over by the Cornmarket and has thrived as a pub since then.We have been visiting this pub for many years and it's just as good as it's ever been. We went to here early in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places as the atmosphere is better when pubs are busy. When we visited we had a few glasses of Carling brewery lagers which where first rate and were reasonably priced. Its an excellent old world pub in a fantastic area of the city centre and it's a pub that's well worth going to.(This is my fourth review of the Cornmarket). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.30-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. James Street Train Station Bus Stop-10A-10Q-18-26-N1. Train Station. James Street Train Station.

Nice cup of coffee thanks! Greeted by Holly who was chatty and took my order with advice when asked for (type of milk used, how many shots). Not a regular at Starbucks but would return. Holly wished me a happy holiday too! This after the the smoothest transit trough the airport ever. Lots to like today at Liverpool JL airport.

Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.
