I drove up to Birmingham in the early am and found this spot not far from where I am going to be staying for a few days. Comes recommended!! They do Caribbean, English and Halal. I love the fusion. I got just a fish finger and egg sandwich, because I didn't fancy much but it was so tasty. Service was amazing, they have WiFi, and were attentive. Parking is a bit technical, as there are now red routes, but I just parked off Church Road which is just a minute walk away.

Absolutely top notch breakfast. If I was making my own breakfast, this is exactly how I'd have cooked it! Highly recommended pit stop.

I have been waiting for 2 years the last time I was visiting Birmingham I wasn't able to stop and enjoy the restaurant I've just had my 1st British breakfast delicious delicious very nicely done and presented the place is so clean the staff Are courteous & professional wonderful friendly it was a great experience. Thank you guys and I will see you again soon

Great wee cafe, handy for lunch while at the Alexander Stadium. Half the price of a burger van, table service with a smile and all day breakfast. What's not to like? This place should be packed with people from the stadium but I get they don't know it's here. Just the locals and us then 👍

Awful service!!!! Just waited nearly 30mins for 2 sos sandwiches and was served dry toast, the old dear that served me does not listen!!! 2nd time this has happened she's too busy chatting up the men to take a simple order, won't be returning.

Since the opening of Mario's Cafe, i have been a regular! Mario's Bacon butty captivated my tastebuds and sent me into orgasmic heaven. Every Saturday morning without fail im there being greeted by a happy face, even on those washed out days that are so dark and damp days, Mario is there smiling and cooking with the odd poor note singing to Simple Red days! Mario is a great character and im not on about the one in the game, i wouldn't choose to eat anywhere else. Mario's Cafe is the place to be, it has thet get up and go ingredient in his food that will keep you going for weeks to come. Highly recommended and will always return for that bacon butty!!!!
