Extremely bad experience in this take away. Highly not recommend. Very dishonest people in this restaurant. They gave me a fake price menu then I ordered two dishes both £7.6, then turned out the bill was over £20. When I asked for explanation, they said the lunch box and the rice need to charge extra money?! The menu didn’t mention the lunch box is charging. It doesn’t even make any sense for a take away shop isn’t ? Second time, I thought dining in would be cheaper. Then when I pay the bill, they said the price has gone up so it’s not the total bill from the menu. That’s ridiculous. They just trying every ways to defraud people.

❌❌❌Black store❌❌❌ A profiteer who gives customers a menu for ordering. When the customer pays, he brings out another high-priced menu and claims to have increased the price. After an argument, he changes the price back to the original price. This dishonest restaurant will not help you again! Destroy the reputation of Chinese people!

I don't know where most of these good reviews are coming from. These were salt and pepper chips. Specifically asked for spicy and hot. As you can see... It is a portion of chips with a bit of onion. £3.50. The other food wasn't much to rave about either.

Not good sorry. No taste to the meat spring rolls. The lemon sauce was water. The chicken was fatty . The chips were good but expensive. You need to make it a lot better before I return. Sorry for the bad review .

Authentic Chinese. Love this place. King prawns spring onions and ginger fresh and delicious. Salt and pepper squid also very nice. Always lots of Chinese eating there as they have few tables to eat in. This is always a good sign of authenticity. EXCELLENT. 5*****..JENNIFER

Proper Chinese food served by lovely people. Called in here as noticed it was open when I was driving past. So glad I did. It was the nicest food I can remember eating from a takeaway. Will definitely be going back. Really extensive menu of proper Chinese food.

I've only been in here once, and have no plans to return.. There are FAR too many menus, all over the shop, making it very difficult to make a decision. I ordered my food (Sweet and Sour Chicken) and my husband's order (Crispy Beef with Spring Rolls), and sat down. Before we knew it, the biggest tub of sweets we ever laid eyes on was dumped on our table. "You Eat", says the waitress. We politely declined, saying we already had ordered our meals, and were currently waiting. The tables were very sticky, and the chopsticks felt somewhat greasy. However, service was fast, and the food, to be honest, was quite tasty. The real problem we encountered occured the next day...

This is a Chinese kitchen whose customers are Chinese young people. This attracted me in, if you eat where the Chinese eat then the chances are the food is delicious. The food is authentic reasonably priced and tasty. There are no frills, you can sit in and eat or takeaway. The menu is a pictograph mural with subtitles in English.

Heard this place was good, and was pleased by the range of dishes on the menu. Unfortunately the Chef doesn't know how to cook some of the dishes. Southern Chinese noodle and pork dishes are well done, but stay clear of the Sichuan dishes, they are mediocre at best.

This place is worth a visit if you're looking for a quick meal around the university. Most of its trade is takeaway but there are seats where you can sit and have your meal out of a container. I had the pork and pickled vegetable plus boiled rice. It's quite basic and you use plastic cutlery (or chopsticks) if you ask. Good portion of food for an ok price.

Slightly out of the city centre, but I'm so willing to go all the way back there for food. Lunch deals are only 4.50pounds with a drink! Ridiculously (in a good way) huge portion of food! Great variety of choices and good food! Unlike other Chinese restaurants in Preston, it has a wider variety of food with good standards. Some food are a miss, but majority of the dishes are delicious! Slightly oily, but still acceptable :) Would recommend people to give it a try! Not many seats in the shop, but still able to sit in and eat (approximately 10-15 seats).

This takeaway has extensive menus - there is a general one but there is also a 'Chinese' one ask to look at that as if not Chinese you are generally shown the other menu, they genuinely seem happy when you want to try out the more unusual dishes which are the real Chinese food dishes enjoyed by the many Chinese students who sit in and enjoy home cooked food when so far away from home. Its conveniently situated next to a Chinese supermarket which is very recommended you have a look around if you enjoy Chinese cooking, or if just curious lots of weird and wonderful items on sale, also if you are after beansprouts, pak choi etc alot cheaper than normal supermarkets. It is also open at lunchtime, with general menu on offer but also daily lunchbox special. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had from a takeaway, always go and get it if have a cold or feel run down :)

I called in here alone for a bit of lunch whilst at work. The food was great and it really is one for the Chinese locals. There are a few little chairs to sit and eat in and the place is always full when I pass which is a good indication of the food. I will definitely come again.

I visited this eatery with my parents and we were impressed by the menu outside. It included a good variation of authentic and interesting dishes including salt and pepper squid tentacles. The take away menu (which my parents ordered from) had generally westernised dishes but it was still a very good menu. I had the fried tofu in Thai sweet chilli sauce with boiled rice which was very tasty with generous, nicely cooked pieces. Next time I will be getting fried salt and pepper tofu with curry sauce which I'm generally a fan of. I was also pleased to see tofu with meat on the menu, I don't eat meat but I like to see that meat eaters can enjoy tofu as well. My dad got black pepper chicken which he really enjoyed and I can't recall what meat my mum had but she loved the fried rice. I was happy to receive free prawn crackers and the staff were very friendly. We sat in to eat our meal and it was quite comfortable despite the chairs looking small. This is unrelated to the eatery as far as I'm aware but the oriental store next door is quite good and I pick up snacks from there quite regularly.

Went in one lunch time with a colleague. There are a handful of chairs inside so you can eat in or take out. It was very busy with a number of chinese students in who must be studying at the University. THe food was very good. Nice portions and great flavour. Recommended.

After finding out both of the Chinese buffets had been closed we wandered upon this little place, so we thought we'd give it a go . What an absolute mistake that was. Our first clues should have been that the place was empty, our second clues should have been that the menu is only in Chinese with very little English on it, our third clue should have been when the waiter was unable to translate what was on the menu. Our fourth clue should have probably been the first three things we asked for they didn't have .So once we had deciphered the menu we had to wait a considerable amount of time to actually get the meals and when we did my partner's came considerably sooner than mine, I was left telling him to eat because the gap was so large his was getting cold. He had some sort of soup and sweet and sour chicken. When mine came I was in utter disbelief . My lamb kebabs were the most skinniest, minimalist things I don't even think I could have called it a kebab! More like strings of meat and they were considerably spicy which was not mentioned in the menu (in the little english it had) or waiter. It was about this point when they showed up with the drinks we had ordered more or less when we came in, they did apologise to be fair that they'd forgot but considering we were the only people in the restaurant I'd figure we were pretty hard to forget about, they didn't offer glasses either. 5-10 minutes later they show up with my apparently 'roast potatoes', crisps, we call them. It genuinely was as if they'd emptied some walkers into a bowl and popped them under the grill. To my dismay two Chinese looking gents walked in and their meal looked absolutely amazing! Also, I hope you can eat with chop sticks as no other cutlery was provided (even for very sloppy looking noodle soup)Their English was very poor, so poor they couldn't even translate their own menu I think they should really consider taking some English lessons considering they are so close to the university and would have so much potential for business from it .The whole meal itself cost just shy of £29 and I left hungry, disappointed and in utter disbelief, I am genuinely surprised my partner paid for it I thought he would have put in a complaint and told them not a chance in hell. You could not pay me to return to this place and I wouldn't recommend it as far as I could throw it.
