Calling people fat,slamming the door,overall I prefer jade garden

Would not let me order food and tried calling me fat so they would not let me order.

Not ordered after a month or so , was slightly disappointed but ordered last night , amazing taste possibly one of the best spring Rolls I’ve ever tasted, wanted another one after eating it

The driver only picked up half of our order and when we contacted him, he refused to collect the rest of it. This meant 2 of the people in our family didn't get any food.

After waiting 2 hours for our food it arrives freezing cold. Spent £60 and no free prawn crackers. Got them last time for free and spent less. Thats your menu in the bin. We won't be coming back 😢

Always really nice food from this place! Best Chinese in Ripley in my opinion. I love their hot and sour soup and Udon noodle dishes. The staff and delivery people are always lovely and food is usually delivered before expected 🙂.

Ordered food twice now from this Restaurant once to collect and once delivered. 6 of us so no small order. Every one Enjoyed the food and woud purchase again.

After seeing the long delivery times I decided to collect my order I was abit surprised how small the portions was for the actual price it isn't the cheapest. Food was warm but I've had nicer my usual Chinese was closed so thought I would give good food inn a go I wouldn't rush back but it was ok.

Nice Chinese Food, Can can park outside the shop, Food hot and freshly cooked, Singapore Vermicelliis very good Hong Kong Style , Must try the Roast Pork Foo Yung Egg + Rice Prawn Crackers is very good

Absolutely amazing! The curry sauce at this Chinese restaurant is out of this world, and they are super generous with their portions. The "Much Box 10" is more than enough to fill up 6-7 people. I fell in love with their box meal of egg fried rice and chips, all drenched in curry sauce. They even gave me free prawn crackers! Although the delivery took a while, the food arrived warm and was definitely worth the wait. They also have great vegetarian options like the honey chilli beancurd, which is on the sweeter side but incredibly delicious. The crunchy vegetables are mind-blowing. Highly recommend!

Terrible service ordered from them a few times and every time food is turning up over an hour late

Lovely food delivery sometimes takes a while but when it’s busy that’s to be expected. But when it comes it’s still fresh and hot . Best Chinese around in my opinion . The Singapore noodles are chefs kiss

Don’t order from here for delivery, does not arrive and don’t answer the phone. Call 30 times to chase a non delivery order no answer. Useless and not using again.

Never ordering from here again. Don’t answer the phone, first time we ordered it took almost 4 hours to arrive, ordered again (not realising it was the same Chinese restaurant) and the exact same thing happened again. Phone just rings off, terrible service if I could rate 0 stars I would. Do your self a favour and don’t order from this Chinese

Just ordered food as a special treat. Food arrived over 85 minutes later. Couldn't get through to speak to anyone and when they have finally arrived food was cold and tasteless. Spending over £50 very disappointed and won't be ordering again!

Ordered at 7.20pm on a Wednesday night. After 1 hour rang to see where it was and was told, "drivers on his way". Called again after a further 25 minutes to be told "drivers on his way". Called a 3rd time after a 2 hour wait and was told "drivers on his way". Driver turned up just after 2 hours wait. The duck was cremated. Won't be using again

Absolutely horrendous service, ordered from here multiple times with no issues however tonight was a joke, ordered at 6pm with an estimate of 7.40/8pm, still waiting at 9.45pm, rang multiple times and they keep telling me it's on its way, awful service for a £70+ order! Will never use this restaurant again!

Ordered food at 9pm at 10pm it said it was being delivered after phoning 4 times and being told should only be with me soon each time it eventually turned up after 2 hours, The food was like warm but it tasted nice although didn't get the mini spring rolls the size of the pancake rolls left me wondering why they cost £4. Will not be ordering from here again and will definitely not be recommending it to anyone else.

The average of 3 stars do not do this place justice. It's nowhere near that good.

Food was tasty, hot and freshly cooked but thought the chicken balls were slightly smaller... Only to find out that the pancake roll which has been really decent the last 15+ years has suddenly been on a crash diet and was about 20% of it's usual size, if that. Please put them back to the correct size Good Food Inn!

Very good food, this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Curry is very delicious. 30 pounds is worth it. I'll be back.

Not sure what's happened in the short time since I ordered last but it was not good at all this time, I've been using this take away for many years, after this I'm going to have to change because I don't want to chance that experience again

Ordered takeout here again and was pleasantly surprised that it tasted so much better than before. I like it very much. I will continue to order here.

Food came 20 min late. Chicken ball disgusting. Oil in between batter and chicken. Also a black bit in chicken ball. Horrible. Used to recommend this place but it's disgusting. Sweet and sour chicken my backside! Sauce like water pixed with pineapple and grease! And a load of hair in chicken balls. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Not sanitary and not good over all! Never again! Don't know if they got a new chef in or what but EW!

Food not good, small portions and they forgot about our order. 2 hours after we ordered we rang up to see if it was on its way, to be told they forgot about our order and they would do it now. The food came around 40 mins later and left us disappointed. Ordered the munch box and a crispy shredded beef. The munch box was bad value for money and nearly all chips. The tiny ribs were so overcooked and dry, only 4 chicken balls, 4 small pieces of salt and chilli chicken. The rice and chow mein are in the same container so also small portions. The crispy shredded beef was odd, the sauce was very vinegary. All in we waited nearly 3 hours and received some very below par food, the girl on the phone was polite and did apologise they forgot our order and gave us a Pepsi, prawn crackers and fortune cookies as an apology for forgetting our order. This is the second time we have used this Chinese and unfortunately will be the last. When compared with others in the area the quality and value just isn't there.

Arrived after 45mins but the delivery driver turned up with no food as he'd dropped it at another house! Then over an hour and a half later I got a phone call saying they couldn't find our address even though they'd been once already then tried to charge us full price. When we did get the food it was very greasy not pleasant at all.

Just had our takeaway from here and it was foul. The food looked anaemic, crispy beef was soft, chicken balls were soggy! Never again!

The previous chefs are back. Food just as good as it was before, great standards resume. They were off for personal reasons apparently. Love the food here.

Has this been taken over ?? I’ve used these for years but all of a sudden the food is different... the sweet n sour sauce is awful and like jelly which leaves a horrible taste in your mouth.. the noodles when eating then seem soggy ... very disappointing so now using someone else as I like to enjoy my food for the price it costs... such a shame !!!

I think the place must have changed hands. The food used to be excellent. Not any more I'm afraid. Poor quality ingredients badly cooked. A real shame.

The food was nothing more than something you would not even give to your dog's I complained and they said they would give10 % off my next order but I am never ordering from there again and the order was not even right

A very nice chinese where the sweet and sour chicken are crispy and the curry has some nice flavour. The only issue is this place is cash only.

Food ok but wonder how good the hygiene is. The lady's hands were dirty and all sorts are piled up on shelves and against the wall. Not looked after well.
