In my 53 years I have never had a Chinese this nice, the food has blown my mind, I rate this food 50 out of 10,thats how nice the food is

The food is absolutely fantastic ! The price is very affordable . This restaurant is run by a friendly family. Their sons help out in the restaurant with good manners. Once you arrive there , they immediately ask you what you want to eat and drink . Also , they have a large variety of food and drinks to choose from . This is definitely one of my favourite restaurant.

Roast duck looked good but had no chance to try as both front desk waiters were too busy with the takeaway orders and ignored me. The waitress was a bit better as she responded once and told me yes roasts were still available. Then that was it and she went back to taking online orders. It's not for walk ins. Takeaways didn't look promising neither as they were sorting out a mess… Won't say they were rude but I thought this place was around for some time ? Yet Their way of treating customers seemed like novices ⋯ Warm reminder: Although it has been introduced by a Hong Kong YouTuber, the team, service efficiency and taste have nothing to do with Hong Kong. There is a waiter who seems to have not graduated from high school, and seems to be a helper in the shop. Asking them will not answer you. If you have not given birth to a child, you can experience for free the emotions and rudeness of your child's rebellious period that will cost you three thousand dollars. . Hong Kong stores are popping up everywhere, and many of them are of high quality. There are so many Hong Kong people in District A that there is no reason why there is no market. When you have time to open up, you will know what is called "Hong Kong style"👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

Delicious food and lovely service

a chubby little boy called raymond denied me and my family from entering just because we are from DR Congo. He called it’s racial slurs and kicked us out without hesitation. this little butter ball has not heard the end of this as we are in the process of suing this restaurant. will not be coming back.

Must try and with delicious Chinese foods

Fried noodles with shredded pork, stir-fried beef river, shredded pickled vegetables, turkey duck, and rice. It’s delicious, has wok gas, and tastes like Hong Kong.

The few HK style dishes we tried were just ok. If you are in Alty it's probably as good as you gonna get. For me food was missing wok hei and slightly on the small side. Probably depends on what you order. Service on the other hand was 100% can't fault it. Not on top of my list but will return if I am local and got craving

Very very great Hong Kong food!

The food is consistently excellent, great selection of Hong Kong style dishes, beef brisket and sichuan boiled beef being the highlights this time. Very friendly service, always served by the happiest lady on the world

We struggle to find authentic food in Mcr, this place is a hidden gem. Cooked well, lovely staff. I couldn’t fault it. Can’t wait to go back.

Both dishes were quite good . But the noodle ones was a bit too sweet to my taste, maybe it had big spoonful of MSG added.

Lovely little restaurant - was on the verge of closing after their lunch time session but we stopped by to ask if we could make a quick order and they stayed open for us. Really appreciate the small gesture and had a wonderful meal to boot!

🤩 The best takeaway, authentic taste of Hong Kong roasted duck. Crispy skin, not over salted, goes with tasty plum sauce. Very clean and neat kitchen as well as a very friendly and cheerful Chef and Owner. Such a pleasant takeaway experience.

Had the lunch box today and was so nice, I've worked in Altrincham for over a year, and first time eating from here, was worth the price and was so nice

Food has always been beautiful from good choice everything from the little detailed flower carrots, unfortunately the last few times of ordering the portions have been really small & half full and the chow meins have tiny bits of meat and barely any in and I’ve been ordering for years and you normally get loads. Shocked in the difference and prices have gone up??

Ordered salt and pepper chips and tofu and ended up binning the lot. Excessive salt that no one could eat. Nothing like salt and pepper chips. Utterly disgusting. Spent £18 and ended up binning the lot. That coupled with A 40 minute wait for ordering in the shop and taking away was just not on. Unless you just want an overly salt favoured meal and nothing else I would avoid. We won’t be using again.

The deadest so called 'salt n pepper' chips in my life. Besides salty chips, I'm not sure what I paid £3.50 for.

Every dish I've tried is amazing. The kungbo chicken, thai red and green. The salt and pepper munchy box can feed a small family. Delivery drivers are always prompt and polite. You can count on the food always being hot, fresh and tasty! If i could give 6 stars I would. Thet should definitely change their name to great choice.

Me and my partner order from here every single weekend that I’m not in work. We’ve made countless orders from here and the staff are always lovely as well as the food. Never had a bad one and we never expect too. Salt and pepper munchy box every time and perfect every time! Best takeaway around by far! See you next week end good choice!! First Chinese in a long time which tastes fresh, authentic and not pumped full of MSG. Trumps China town and reasonable prices too. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely unreal. Was gobsmacked they had dumplings and won ton soup Im from Manchester originally, but came up for 3 nights and was at the nearby travelodge. This place is very reasonably priced. Altrincham is absolutely brilliant

We went to the cinema and wanted a bite to eat afterwards. Well all I can say is WOW! Hand on heart the nicest Chinese food I have ever eaten! And looking at some of the other reviews I think a few more people agree. Wasn’t expecting much but it blew both my wife and I away. We now go every time we are in Altrincham.

The best Takeaway in England (Not even an exaggeration!) Fresh & flavourful with large portions. Singapore vermicelli is the best I have ever tried in my life. If I were on death row, my last meal would be 100 of the salt and pepper wings and my full weight in Wok fried garlic and chilli beef. Only downside is that this place has stolen my beach body, so -1/10 for that. 🙄 Thanks for giving me and my husband something to look forward to every week (sometimes twice a week) during lockdown. Will order again next week 🙌😂

After 1 hour waiting, I called them to track my order, they don’t even cook it! And than another 35 mins to wait, it’s totally cost 2 hours to get my dinner after place my order! And the foods is really salty.

WOW, what can I say apart from OUTSTANDING! We have our local Chinese in Altrincham that we always use and love. They are currently closed for a 2 week holiday so had to choose somewhere else. We decided for Good Choice as the reviews were good. OMG I'm so glad we did! Very friendly lady on the phone and the food arrived well before the 45mins stated. The quality and freshness was outstanding and have to say that I've never had a Chinese so delicious and plentiful! The curry sauce is amazing. I will certainly be using this place again and may end up with it being my regular! Thanks so much to all the staff and the chef!

Small (three tables for eating in) but unique and very cute. Is always very tidy and food is given special kick and flavour that you can't really get anywhere else in alty. Serve excellent food to stay in and take away efficiently and quickly. Staff are very friendly and cater to you well.

We ordered a takeaway. After one hour we tried phoning to see where it was - they didn't answer. I kept calling and eventually (at one hour forty) they answered. They said my order would be another 20 minutes - so that would have been 2 hours from order to delivery.

Love the food here, great veggie options and food tastes fresh with lots of colour (hate when you order Chinese and it's all beige). Also the lady on reception is really friendly :)

Terrible food terrible customer service.Never ever get the Cripsy shredded beef (thats if there is even beef in it!) We just ordered and it was burnt, couldn't even break it with your fork, couldn't find any beef present. Called up and the women was rude arguing and saying its meant to be like that.. Trust me no food is meant to be like that.. We will be ordering elsewhere in future and would advise it to others also!

Stayed over at Travelodge right next to the Good Choice and our party of 7 found this gem by accident. You can takeaway but we ate in as there is some tables. The food was plentiful and delicious. The owners were fantastic and went out their way to welcome us. It's also very reasonable. Strongly recomended and it's location right next to the Travelodge was brilliant for us. If we stopover again on our way to or from Manchester airport we won't hesitate in visiting this cracking takeaway as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.It certainly was a Good Choice.
