Good chef in Leicester

Part of my order was missing. the chips and tango drink

Bad bad bad should be banned from serving to the public. Tasteless burnt battered sausage more looked liked a bruised banana

Delicious food, lovely lady who assisted everyone so well.

The times are lies therefore they deserve a 1 star I’ve traveled 5 miles for food but they are closed by 12:30. Atleast give realistic times

If I could give it no stars I would. ordered a samosa and it was absolutely saturated and covered in oil and grease and put into a dirty box, couldn’t even eat ,looked hazardous, also had he hygiene looked awful I saw the women pick out with her hands the battered sausage and put it on the plate after touching everything around her including the card reader

Honestly I can’t fault anything, I asked for fresh everything and that’s what I got. It was service with a smile, I cannot fault anything with the food and service. Being a head chef myself, but unfortunately not in this area, I would have asked her to join me. Look after her she’s a star.

I often eat in this place and I can recomend it. Fresh food and friendly service.

this was AWFUL, went in with my friend, first of all it looked unsanitary, food wasn’t nice and chips were vigorously over cooked, so overpriced cost me £8.90 and was grim, curry sauce came in a random mug that was chipped and my sprite tasted like pool water. the lady at the till also was not very helpful at all.

I come to The Good Chef almost everyday on my break time..highly recommend to everyone.. the food is always freshly made to order.. they serve the best cup of tea.. the owners are very welcoming and very friendly.

So First Of All Me and 2 others suffered from severe food poisoning The Next Day. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. And How I know it was from this place Was Due to the fact that this was my only meal this day. Having Suffered the after effects and the fact that the meal wasn't that good in the first place. Burnt chips, Over fried fish. I would definitely say to Never Let A Woman do a Mans job (She Obviously Doesn't know What She's Doing) 😔

Felt like having a Sunday breakfast and thought to try this place after passing by, the blend of English breakfast and turkish breakfast items turned out to be an amazing combination of flavours. Service was amazing too, will be coming back again.

food was ok but found the service bit strange. Once the order was ready. it was kept so people working could take photos of the food but after taking the photos they just left for us to bring it to the table. the food was almost cold by the time we got to eat it. the milkshake didn't look anything like the photo advertised. a bit strange atmosphere.

Place looks nice but the layout is wrong . The kebab section should be near the window so that people can see what they actually do

We tried the traditional fish and chips. The fish was fried just right and had no smell in it and tasted great. The fries seemed quite oily and she has to keep the fries in the strainer to let the oil drain rather than directly transferring from the fryer to the plate. The sauces are free and unlimited and we really enjoyed that with our food. All in all a good experience and worth repeating.

This arrived 1 hour late and food is freezing cold. driver tells me he was sent to oppostie direction on a push bike. this is unacceptable and food is not edible now its cold and soggy

Fully enjoyed that haddock and chips I had with Moshi peas. I only wish if the option to not to have a drink with the order as I did not want a drink.

We was today at this restaurant the atmosphere and the food was lovely . We so happy we find this place which is close to the Haymarket bus station also there is a car parking close to . We will look to come back soon at this restaurant. Thanks to the owner. I will recommend to anyone to trying this restaurant which also has a good prices.

First of all the food is finger linking at this restaurant ,i enjoyed food along when I visited there. Moreover this is one of the hygienic restrurent in leicester. They deal with customers very politely and the atmosphere is very friendly . They take care of their customers until he or she sit in . It was one of the awesome experience of eat in this restaurant

Just now had the food.... Uterly worst... Orderd chicken soup, they bought in a plastic box which was frozen and took half an hour to defrost which is later served in a bowl.... What we treated is chicken pieces in tomato soup.... 😂. Worst of money.... Which I felt....

The food is great, the staff too and the interior and atmosphere is so tranquil. 🕊 Its the only place in Leicester that makes you feel like you're back at home/ abroad being served food from a loved one. 🥰 Come here if you want to feel what it's like eating on holiday again... 🌴 They make every dish here; if you want Turkish food come here! The nuggets, fish fingers and onion rings were burnt. No doubt they were packet ones, my fault as I ordered, but the ones I have had in other takeaways in leicester have definitely been handmade and meaty/ chunky :/

The rice was so saggy food not up to sctatch tried ringing them they’re not answering never again
