Golden Star Chinese Take Away in Carmarthenshire

I would stay away.i ordered as the stars looked good.but this is not a chinese.plain,no flavour,no salt,noodles stuck together .chicken like rubber..no taste what so ever and the soya gravy was just brown no taste slop.i offered to return the food for a refund as we didn't touch the food as it was inedible.im not fussy but oh my god!the food hub was no help..£24 in the bin.shocking..please stay away from here

We have been regular customers of this Chinese takeaway for a number of years but that comes to an end… TONIGHT!!!! Over the last few weeks (on and off) we’ve had a few issues with the quality of the food or even food missing from the order. But as you do, you give people the benefit of the doubt but no more!!! We’ve gone to order a takeaway this evening only to be greeted with nothing but abuse and disgusting attitude by the girl on the phone. After asking to speak to the manager (when she eventually came on the phone) she just LAUGHED and said it’s okay! Would never recommend this Chinese and will be offering my service to other and much better Chinese takeaways in the area!

Very disappointed with our order. Chicken was slimy and inedible. Ordered a portion of curry sauce and was given a portion of soy sauce. Not worth going back to change it as the meal was that disappointed. Tried this establishment as our usual was closed. Will not deviate again.

I am 21 weeks pregnant and was looking forward to my Chinese not having eaten all day, only to consume a mediocre Chinese but 3 hours later start violently throwing up and being stuck on the toilet. Not an enjoyable experience for anyone let alone someone who’s pregnant. Will be contacting the restaurant tomorrow as I think it’s their chicken balls which have made me unwell and would hate for it to happen to anyone else

Never had a bad Chinese from there always piping hot and beautiful food always have the crispy beef and the special curry the absolute best! Also always early never waiting around for hours on it

Called in on way home from night out. Ordered special fried rice AND curry sauce. Got home to find out I had special fried rice with a spoonful of curry sauce in with the rice and not in a seperate carton/cup,but got charged for both. VERY DISAPPOINTED with what I was given. Could be the last time I go there for food

ordered a take away for 6,30 t0night, it arrived dead on 6.30, food was to die for, pipping hot and cooked to perfection, large portents, have never had a bad meal from the Golden Star fiest class every time, delivery drive charming and polite

Ordered for a delivery,the person on the phone, was friendly and read the order back to me. The food arrived in less time than they said, so this was a plus.The delivery driver was also good and respected the social distancing at the door. The food was hot, tasty and full of flavour with good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend in the difficult times we are currently in.A+++++

I called them and and placed my order, only for the driver to call me and asked me to confirmed my address. i leave in a new built area and a bit difficult to find on the map which is no fault of my mind. I tried to explain my location to the DRIVER, HE was so RUDE and ARROGANT on the phone and he HANG UP on me in front of my kids. I couldn't believe it.

Absolutely disgusting waiting 1.45 hours for our food, phoned to ask how long it would be was told it was on it's way. 20 min later still not arrived, phoned again woman with an attitude answered and said the order has been misplaced and to start again.... No chance. Dont bother First time and last time we tried here

we use this takeaway a lot never had a bad takeaway from them , perfect ever time,all ways cooked well,and hot, delivery is always on time, will not go anywhere else.

This is our third home delivery we have had from the Golden Star, and it gets better every time, it is the best Chinese for miles

Me and my family were looking for a takeaway on the way back from a day out on holiday and found this on google-pre placed order on the phone and gave us 15 minutes to pick up and the man was very polite-even offered us one of our meals for free-had ordered around 9 things so for the whole lot to cost £30 was great value-a lot more costly where we live! Food hot and really tasty-bbq ribs and chicken and cheese spring rolls particularly good! Really happy with it all and would recommend 😊🥡🥢

I use this takeaway regularly, the food is nice and reasonably priced, its definitely not restaurant quality but it goes down well with the kids

One of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever been to only one place for it the bin harsh but truthful should of known the price was to good to be true

Chicken Curry one of Britains most popular Chinese meals is the nations fave for a reason at this venue it really has spice and satisfies the tastebuds.

We have food here at least once a week, love it, best Chinese food in town, been goin ere years. Crispy chilli chicken, and chicken curry is to die for ....

Not only was the good really nice, but it was enough for 2 nights. The hot and sour soup was great and delicious as was the beef chicken n black bean sauce. Absolutely fantastic.

My family love this Chinese we have a delivery at least once every week amazing so much flavour and very quick when deliverd always piping hot lovley service and the lady on the phone is ever so patient and helpful recommend to everyone best Chinese in Llanelli. Spot on

Nice takeaway but they've stopped the free poppadom or prawn crackers with my chicken curry, hence three instead of four stars

Utilizada para ordenar desde aquí todo el tiempo solía ser muy agradable. Pedí esta noche y fue asqueroso! Un cambio claro en ingredientes! El pollo ni siquiera parece pollo, parecía grasa con algún tipo de carne y translúcidas. Nuestras brochetas de pollo principal el calor era insoportable y el pollo de nuevo el mismo y salsa satay fue obove como agua!

El Golden star realmente se merece una estrella dorada. Tropezamos con esta comida para llevar, ya que era el más cercano a espacio de aparcamiento gratis cuando necesitábamos comida china en una ciudad lejos de casa. chico de recepción era genial, el teléfono nunca parar sonando pero él estaba muy tranquilo y eficiente. Pedimos comida un poco del menú pero no fue un problema. La comida era deliciosa y muchos extras recomiendo totalmente este para llevar y si alguna vez volvemos a las carreras ffos otra vez sin duda visitar.

Solía usar este particular llevar al menos una vez al mes. Sin embargo, la comida compró la noche pasada era sin duda no al alto estándar. El pollo dulce y amarga sabía mucho como habían sido refried después de estar más de un día antes. Fue binned y nos tomamos nuestro negocio a una toma cercana, lo cual era muy bueno.

Yo uso este a menudo y conseguir los alimentos entregados, 90% de los que entregan en el plazo mencionado, el otro 10% es un poco tarde, pero la comida es siempre caliente y lo mejor de todo sabe divina. Debo añadir, pedir patatas fritas crocantes son fuera de este mundo.

No puedo creer que nadie lo ha dado a este lugar una revisión todavía.
