Got the food delivered for the first time !! Food was smashing and tasty. Had the food delivered fresh and pipping hot. Forget the keema naan🙁. The driver was very thoughtful and polite and delivered me a fresh keema naan and extra freebie popadoms 😀. Re delivered within 15mins. Smashing service. Found my new curry take out.

Amazing place just as reviews stated. New to Northampton, so visited this place to pickup Indian takeaway. Dishes were wonderful, delicious and adequate quantity with great quality. Sylheti Starter and Golden Pappadom Biryani was amazing. Would definitely recommend this takeaway restaurant as staff are very polite, courteous and attentive when taking orders and preparing them. Truly a gem in Northampton for Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine takeaways.

3 times I tried to order my meal tonight from your website and each time it failed I phoned my order through and paid by card When the food was delivered I was told that the payment hadnt gone through and we paid by cash I can say there was not a lot of chicken in the meals and it was disappointing Tried to phone but could not get through

We hadn't had a takeaway from here for many years as its a bit of a drive to collect from. I thought I would give it a try for a change. Ordered Chicken Chat with Roti, Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Jalfreizi, Pilau Rice, Saag Bhaji & a Plain Nan. All of the food was excellent, everything tasted fresh, you could taste individual spices and herbs in the dishes and they were cooked and packed with care. Friendly cheerful staff as well. Great food thanks.

Delighted to say that for the first time ever I have awarded a full 5 stars in every category for our dining experience at this particular establishment. Northampton sadly has a poor history of expensive, poorly prepared fake away food, frozen, non authentic and barely edible muck. The Golden Popadom has changed all that. Hot, fresh, well prepared authentic cuisine cooked in an open kitchen. A vast menu of delicious food awaits the eager diner. It is clearly prepared and presented by experienced and passionate chefs, knowledgeable in the art of cooking the many dishes with tremendous passion and skill. We had several dishes, each one individually tasty and succulent. My top tip to anyone wishing to experience very good traditional food is to visit here and try the varied menu. Probably the best food in Northampton.

Everytime I go to that place the dishes keeps getting better. The new management staff are so nice and friendly and their cooking is much better. I can't wait to order another takeaway! 😊

Fantastic takeaway with great service and authentic Bengali dishes. The house special "Balagonji Shahi Chops" was a treat, while the "Pagla Naga" is highly recommended for those brave souls wishing to try something spicier.

I had the best lamb Rogan Josh I have ever eaten this evening. Rahim the chef is an absolute spice genius, he cooks with an amazing flair and passion! In fact I won't go anywhere else now that I've found this gem of an Indian takeaway. All of the staff are friendly and courteous especially front of house Mo, who is a gentleman! Well done keep up the good work and standards.

We have been ordering from Golden Popadom since it was opened under the current new management. The food is always very tasty, the portions are large and priced competitively, and their service is very friendly. They always put an extra something in the bag for my children. Keep it up and thanks!

Another great takeaway....always a good standard. Most times slip an extra poppadom. Not like another takeaway I could mention.

stumbled across this restaurant tonight and have to say the service and food was Fantastic , we placed a large order for our family of 6 and went to pick up the food, a little cautious as this was our first time ordering from here. the service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing, the chap explained they are new owners and a few other kid bits. ever so friendly . Meals got thumbs up all round too! bloody gorgeous . we will return!

I don’t normally write reviews but this was awful! I ordered my food at 20:40 and I got it at 22:20! I wouldn’t of minded if the food was nice, but it was horrible! I had to re heat the food because it wasn’t hot and it was the most bland curry I’ve ever had! And the funny thing is I couldn’t call up to complain because the restaurant was closed after 10! The delivery driver had to call someone about the reducing the price but again couldn’t do anything because they were closed ! They said they would get back to me but they haven’t. I thought I would take the risk and try a new takeaway, but I regret it. Unfortunately nothing was good about this. Please don’t risk it and waste your money, or your time.

Too much good food, awesome taste.

I have just sampled a mixed chicken and lamb kebab from our new eatery here in the back end of Kingsley. I practically inhaled it! I was promised meat and bead freshly prepared...it really is! The lamb was deliciously minced, spiced and cooked to perfection, chunks of tender marinated chicken, salad and sauce were wrapped in home made flat bread better than any dry old pitta or naan. I will be visiting again! They're about to roll out a pizza menu too. CAN'T WAIT !

Not the best and very expensive
