Golden Inn in Rochdale

I think they have had new owners? But the food is nowhere near as nice as it used to be! The salt and pepper ribs are basically BBQ ones but with some salt and pepper chucked on. The chips used to be really nice & now they’re chippy chips. Will not be ordering from here again

None of the food tasted like it normally does, salt and pepper ribs were bbq ribs with a bit of onion and chilli thrown in! Really disappointing as this was our favourite Chinese but won’t be used again

We normally order every weekend and the food has been bang on every time, its the only place that does the soups how we like them. However, today the soups and some of the food was a little bit different, I couldn't put my finger on it, even though it was still good, we prefer the usual recipes. Still amazing food and service, but please don't change.😘

Really really disappointed we always order from here and it’s usually spot on not sure if they have changed the owners but it was disgusting last night and so late and most the stuff was missing we ordered at 7:20 and it came at 10pm it was cold I mean cold cold not just a little cold we couldn’t even eat most of what did come my 4 year old fell asleep before it came so he went to sleep hungry I’m so annoyed and can’t get a refund just a refund on what was missing well money off next time I spend on just eat 🙃

Been having this Chinese for 10 years. last 3 times we have had it the quality has been poor( think they are new owners ) and the last order was over 1 hour 20 mins late the fried rice smelt and tasted like the cook had dropped 20 cigs in it was disgusting will be looking for a new Chinese from now

Food was not ok. Chicken was not fresh. They delivered wrong order.

Usually amazing food here, must be under new management as tonight it was absolutely awful. Rock hard chilli beef, soggy salt and pepper chicken and the ok sauce was definitely not ok sauce. Wont be ordering again

Made a order when I was at my dads wrote in the notes want I didn’t want in the meal only for it to turn up full of it . By this time I’m now home I rang up to get it redelivered only to be told I had to drive from my house in boarshaw to Langley for a mistake they made . Asked for a refund to get it back in credit not happy with that will be sending email I paid with cash I want cash back

Curry recipe changed, tasted different and not in a good way. Spring rolls were advertised as 4 and usually delicious. Arrived as 8 small ones. Salt and pepper chips are usually soft and spicy. This time oven chips with a few onions thrown on.

Ive never done a negative revue before so feel a bit bad... But.. I paid for a meal lastnight that neither myself or my partner could eat, it pretty much all went in the bin. Every piece of beef was all fat and grizzle, the only thing we ate was the rice and a couple of the ribs. Was very disappointed and wont be ordering from here again.

I was so excited to have my Chinese today after a long Friday. When I placed my order, I requested that they send me chopsticks and add extra sauce on my noodles but that was a waste of time. I got none of it. I also asked for a Fanta that arrived as a Tango, I realise some people may not tell the difference but I can and I want what I pay for. The food was due to arrive at 9pm but arrived at 8.20pm, 20 minutes after I placed my order. I thought it was strange and the prawns proved my feeling. It taste off! I’m disappointed overall to be very honest. Luckily I ordered some spring rolls which weren’t as bad.

Everything delivered piping hot, prawn crackers were all fresh and not the normal stale pap. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would definitely order from here again

Fillet steak dish was Terrible! It was boiled and looked like dog food. Not what you expect for a fillet steak and very disappointing. The rest of the food was okay.

Barbecue sauce ribs was a ketchup sauce, salt and pepper was burnt, quality of ribs was poor not much meat mainly fat. Chips were overcooked.

First time ordering from here after craving Chinese for weeks. The only criticism is that the ribs were slightly over done and crispy. This is why food only has 5 stars and not 6, if I could give 5.5 I would as everything else was really tasty and lovely and hot. Will definitely be ordering again

Duck and pancakes was decent. Rib combo delicious, fillet steak black pepper needed more black pepper but easily done at home. Chips are like oven chips though. Would eat again

Delicious food, best Chinese we have had in quite a while! Love the spicy salt&pepper chips & the chicken wings, all crisp & hot!! The Singaporean fried rice was just delicious, love that it wasnt too dry & was spicy too. Well done, we will order again definitely. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's not our first time ordering from Golden Inn, and I'm sure it won't be our last. Our children won't eat mushrooms of any variety, no matter how much we try to educate them. This is the only Chinese takeaway in the vicinity which has a set meal without mushrooms. Also much more reasonably priced than any counterparts in the area. There are a couple of abysmal Chinese takeaways I've ordered from on Just Eat, but Golden Inn is a winner, not too greasy, not too salty, beautiful, thank you. 5☆

As always lovely food. The King prawns are always juicy and yummy. Singapore Vermcelli was yummy. I always order from here once a week.

Beef was gristly. Mushrooms were undercooked and much bigger than normal in a chow mein.

Food was generally fine but the beef chow mein is a dish I would not order again. The meat was extremely fatty and was mixed through with some very soggy cabbage.

All the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. We had beef chow mein and sweet and sour Hong Kong vegetables, with soft noodles, veg spring rolls and chips as sides. It only took around 30 minutes for delivery. Highly recommended 👌
