Sunday treat with mum and my partner. Fantastic grill. Portions are very generous. Food cooked to perfection. Half-pound burger was a challenge I only just managed to finish ! Roast lamb dinner was exceptional according to my partner. The restaurant was very busy but the staff kept the service running perfectly. And they are so friendly and professional. Will be going again very soon

I had a fried breakfast there & I’m sorry to say that I could barely eat any of it. It was obvious that it wasn’t good quality products used - the sausages were cheap, as were the beans & toast, not appetising at all. It was a shame as the staff were friendly & it was a nice atmosphere, & the food shown at the front looked fresh so I had my hopes up.

Great place to meet with friends very clean retro setting really friendly environment owner is really friendly helpful treats you with such kindness and respect, service and food is well above five stars as they use quality ingredients. Popped in on the off chance after a trip to watch the rugby at Twickenham.. we were very happy with the food provided, and at a very reasonable price.. the mixed platter for 2 easily fed 3 of us , with a bit left over .. and it was fantastic value 👏

Ordered a falafel wrap to takeaway. Wrap was well prepared and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Good value and great flavour

It was expensive when you considered the quality of the ingredients and portion size. There are much better value options that offer higher quality. Staff were very nice but won't be back.

Paid £12 for a small chicken shish which is not worth the money...it seems coz they closed for months they have shrunk the portion sizes..the salad portion was bad not like b4...i wont be buying again...as 12 pound its not worth it

I absolutely love coming here. My daughter and I come for food every couple of weeks and my and I regularly have breakfast here. It's a lovely cosy place and the food is always amazing. Can't fault the workers as they are the most kindest people I've ever met and nothing is too much for them. They all sung happy birthday to my daughter when I mentioned it was her birthday and they check everything is up to standard as well as happy bubbly down to earth. I will always come here. Its also very clean and the toilets immaculate too. Best food place and people ever 💙💙💙

Very expensive place and the most important I went there to grab a burger for trackway he side you can have it here then almost double the burger price

I have never been so humiliated in my life i was sitting in the restaurant with my boss i went and popped outside to have a cigarette came in as normal sat back down again one of the staff member was very rude to tell me i have been smoking cannabis i could not believe it as i have never touched a drug in my life and also humiliating me in front of my boss

Triple cooked chips but not gastro style, just hollow and greasy. Chicken Shish, thigh meat and not breast, which it used to be. Just yuk! Will never order again.

My son and I ordered takeaway at this restaurant in person. After 30-40 minutes we were still waiting; shouldn't take more than 20 mins. There was clearly a miscommunication between the staff and the order was not made. The staffs attitude was poor and unprofessional. Rather than apologising to us they were more intent on blaming each other. We simply left without the food and will not be visiting them again

Went there new years day was very quiet at that time so all should of been good The food I have to say was excellent However we ordered stuff which never came so cancelled some and the stuff I still wanted had to keep asking by the time it came I was nearly finished with the meal anyway the service was appalling there was plenty of staff around so really it didn't make sense for the poor service maybe even got charged for the stuff we never had seemed expensive however as you don't get a itemized bill its hard to say if we need or not was very disappointed ☹️ because I often used this place

I had tried this place once before and the food was mediocre and over priced. I thought I’d give them another chance after 2 or so years only to wait for half an hour despite being under the impression that this is a fast food restaurant. I noticed that there were 6-7 workers (some of which were just standing around doing nothing) and nobody had even begun making the food because the doner grill had been turned off. I waited for 30 entire minutes and they still hadn’t begun making the food I ordered so I decided to just get up and leave. Due to this experience I will not be returning to Golden Grill ever again. Don’t waste your time here, there’s plenty of other restaurants in the area which will welcome you with a higher level of service and better quality food at an affordable price.

Why on earth they take money and delivered food with out any bread and condiments with we paid for .. portion is small but still okay .

It's a shame how pitiful the portions are because the food is pretty nice. If Oliver Twist ordered from this establishment he'd say 'please Muhammad, can I have some more'. It's entirely unacceptable that they take advantage of people purely because they order from an app.

Previously happy with this places but prices no longer justify the food. Paid £9.90 for an omelette, asking to have chips swapped for bubble'n'squeak - added another £1.65, totalling £11.55 for a plate of standard cafe food.

Friday 8th July 2022 - 18:14 Great place. Whenever I go here it is always busy, people eating in and people getting a takeaway. There is always a constant flow of delivery drivers collecting orders. Access is on street level but doors are manual. They use to only take cash but they now accept card payments. We went to the German Doner place in Twickenham a while back and ordered 2 large doner boxes with chips; tonight’s small chicken from The Golden Grill has more meat than what we got in 2 portions from the German Doner place. I like the way they make the order how you like it. Neither of us bother with the pitta bread which they leave out, if you ask they will put the salad in a separate container. I think £16.90 for a large mixed doner, small chicken doner and a portion of salad is very good value for money. Will go back.

Went there for Breakfast this morning with my partner. Ordered 2 breakfasts and teas. After 15 mins the mugs of tea finally came, another 15 minutes later one breakfast arrived at our table. A further 5 minutes later the 2nd breakfast arrived only to turn up cold! Bacon and toast was like ICE! Sent it back only to then get abuse from the Dodgy Turkish chef (who was the only one working) for saying that his food was cold and sub-standard. He offered to reheat it to which I told him there's no point as I've waited 30 minutes for a breakfast and am not having something reheated nor can I wait another 30 minutes for a fresh one! Left without paying for anything and will never ever go back!! Shocking standards and serious health concerns as to what I witnessed whilst waiting for the shoddy food I received!!!

The restaurant is nice and clean, service was quick and helpful, kebab was delicious (lots of salads and rice) and their chilly sauce is amazing. Their prices are higher than average and they accept only cash!

Amazing fresh pita bread and juicy doner meat

Love this place. Generous, tasty, inexpensive food and friendly staff. Shish kebab without the pita is a very healthy meal. HP Brown Sauce and Heinz Tomato Sauce, always good to have the real stuff.

Order was wrong. Burger sauce added to one of the burgers when it wasnt requested. Half the burger had to be thrown away.

Great place for lunch and dinner, good atmosphere very friendly and helpful highly recommended
