i just went know with my family and with my 2 kids we came here to eat theri food we travel 45 minutes to come here and the said we don’t accept card because the don’t want to pay tax i’m regular customer but the are very rude the staff is unprofessional the don’t know how to talk with customer i request i can transfer money the said our manager is busy he is not working today so we can’t do anything my kids want food but seriously the are very unprofessional i’m so upset pay some tax to government don’t put all the money in your pocket unprofessional people

Friendly staff and good food especially their Wraps and Homemade Burgers.

Ordered the mix platter, shows 35£ on the board, asked if me and son can eat in, he tells me it will be 80£, I questioned him and he rudely says to take it or leave it, I walked out as it’s a joke price, I went to FM mangel down the road and it was so much better, I would not recommend this establisment, read all the other 1 ⭐️ reviews, they are all telling the truth!

Really poor experience. The man with the grey hair and white beard cooked the chicken shish but upon inspection at home the meat was pink and inedible. We originally wanted to eat in but he was very rude and said it was £6 extra. The food was undercooked when I got back and I put it in the bin. Do not recommend unless you want rude service and food poisoning

I wish I could put less than 1 stars. Has to be one of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Extremely rude staff especially the guy with the white beard who called himself “Michael” (doubt that’s his actual name). Rude, impatient and disrespectful. No card accepted and if you want to sit in that’s £6 on top. Arguably, the worst place in the whole of London. Avoid at all costs unless you’re looking for a horrendous experience.

Great place for a day with friends, family, private party or with partner or special someone!! The food is great and healthy. Salad I freshly prepared every morning and so are the meats. Their home made burger is amazing and delicious and a must try. Cozy atmosphere and welcoming and friendly staff. Food is always prepared fresh, always a great choice. I’ve had dates with friends here and it’s great, eating in is different prices to take out but worth the experience and atmosphere. You can call ahead and get your order ready for pick up and it’s a great place to grab lunch during break time as they have an affordable day lunch menu. On this occasion I’m taking out for dinner and it’s was another great experience. I ordered two large lamb shush with salad, a large chips and one portion of ribs and one portion of wings. Grilled to perfection and tender and delicious!! 👌🏽👌🏽5*!!

Very rude staff especially the guy who's taking the order at the front. Doesn't feel like welcome hence the stars...

I come to this restaurant several times. I don't know if the owner is the same, but right now the staff and the food are good. The dishes are big for people who like to eat a lot 😂.

Hubby and I went in for a meal and the service was great, the people were very friendly. The food was delicious and we ended up having to take the leftovers home with us as the meal was very filling. Great value for money too!! The presentation was lovely as well.

We went to the restaurant, which is hidden away behind the take away. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and I couldn't believe what good value it was. We got free pittas and dips with our meal. They don't take card payments, but there's a cash machine right outside.

Took a take away small lamb sandwich for £7. It was fantastic. Thank you so much it was so great.

Full marks for amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. So why only 3 stars for atmosphere? Because it was quite chilly inside sitting down to eat. Otherwise it's the perfect place for lunch. Much better than the cheap Chinese buffet next door.

The owner wouldn't let us eat our food inside. As we begged being 40+ and tired he became aggressive and threatened to physically remove me!. Really rude.l and scary. Would not go back again.

Terrible service!!! Went in to order burger and chips. The guy at the counter said that Cash only! I ran across the road to draw some money. After I paid for the food, I told him I will eat in. He “no eat in, price different for eat in”. I am like “but I work near by, I cannot eat at my work place”. He said “that’s not my problem!”. He came across as extremely rude. He seemed triggered and didn’t enjoy his work. The food was average at best and pricey compared to other eats nearby. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Looks like a takeaway from the street, but look a little closer and you'll see a lovely little restaurant inside too. Food was fantastic, reasonable price and very tasty! Great portion sizes, I went for the small and only just managed to finish it! Lady serving was very nice and looked after our table very well. Shame I live so far away, but will be back again for sure. Well worth giving this place a try!

I have been coming here for years, I love the place. Its not the cheapest, but always well worth the price. I highly recommend the home made lamb burgers, grilled chicken wings and Efes Turkish beer. You can eat in or takeaway, last time I went it was cash only. The only negative is this place gets very busy and depending on what you order it can take a while to receive your food. If you want to get takeaway, there is hardly any space to stand while you wait, especially if it's busy. Many bus stops are 1-5 minutes walk away and a cash machine is a 1-2 minute walk away (NatWest I believe). The food is halal, and I don't believe they have public toilets, but I could be wrong. If you eat in the prices on the menu are slightly higher.

I've been here many times over the years, usually to sit in and eat, one of my favourite places for delicious turkish food. Chicken shish is a favourite along with the rice. Has a nice atmosphere, great photographs on the walls, and decor with a friendly service. Highly recommend this place.

Takeaway, Chicken Doner. If you want a box of salad and meat to pick at with you fingers, then come here. Grab a fork people, you will get a sloppy mess box not a kebab you can eat with your hands.

Good quality kebab though it was 2am when we ate after a few drinks. Is a lamb kebab actually in the naan bread, along with salad and chili sauce no longer a thing?

Great wraps worth getting the cash out for (because you need to pay in cash). I just get falafel and halloumi but I’m sure the meat is also good. Potentially the best of the My Falafel/Falafel and Shwarma Camberwell falafel fast food options (controversial opinion)

1st time having takeaway ate in once before got donnor meat and chips this time and Donna wrap when I ate in. Food was ok but the wrap was expensive and there was hardly anything in it and the take away asked for lost of lettuce and onion only for my salad hardly any of either and same with sauces would recommend people go to balus directly opposite side better service food and prices and better and bigger portions also golden grill took payment as soon as I ordered where as balus you pay once they've done your food how you want it think customer satisfaction is not high on golden grill priorities

Brilliant quick, tasty, filling lunch in Camberwell. Very good price for high quality food. Nice complimentary bread and drips. Very impressive bathroom hygiene too...better than places charging multiple of the price! My new fave spot for lunch!

Good and tasty food. Service is brilliant and food came warm. The place has new look. I found the the sitting area bit cold as the door of the shop is direct opposite sitting area and is always open. This is where take away customers stand. We had to sit with jacket. A partition screen to prevent the cold English weather to come in will definitely lift the atmosphere. Summer/spring time will be no issue tough.

This place is outstanding, the presentation of the food, friendly staff, and the food is delicious.

We travelled 2 hours to get here as a friend had recommended. We were not disappointed. The staff treat all customers with so much respect even our little kids were well taken care of. My daughter made a mess and the gentleman said, it was absolutely fine "let her enjoy her meal, we'll take care of that". The food itself was absolutely lovely. Try the homemade sauce, beyond delicious. Price at the end surprised us as we ate and drunk but paid so little than we had expected. We'll be visiting again soon. The Grill house was busy on a week day afternoon which is a very good sign.

Great little place. Very modest from the outside but once in, at the back there are plenty of tables with some air conditioning. Not a huge menu like some places but what they do, they do well. The food is so delicious. Mezze starters - which took me straight back to Turkey, followed by 2 soft lamb koftas with a lovely rice and a punchy salad. All washed down with bottles of Efes draft. We even got a complimentary bottle.. A definite winner.

The service was very late, the owners were disrespectful and rude towards us on several occasions. Only nice thing was the food, the atmosphere was trash! Would not recommend coming in larger groups as they can't seem to handle the heat.

Went at 2am after a gig Now admittedly a man of my BMI Shouldn’t be buying a kebab or doner wrap But that’s where my guilt ends The paper was dripping wet having asked for the most minimal amount of garlic Mayo my chicken doner was subsequently smothered in 3 types of white sauce . The wrap was Handed to me vertically by which ever point the mass inside the paper had completely cascaded in on itself . The chillis inside were the texture of old cardboard The paper and bread merged completely into one , as I was coming to the end of the experience I had the embarrassment of bumping into my bandmate on his way home . When he saw i was eating he said what’s that , can I have a bit , in fact gosh that looks disgusting . Please sort your presentation out

The amount of times I've gone to this little hole in the wall and met people who've traveled from the other side of London for the meat. The lamb kebab is just ridiculously good. The best I've ever had. They must be smuggling MSG or something because it just tastes too good If you really wanna enjoy, get the mixed grill 😍😍. It's amaaaaaazing I've been eating here for 15 years. I don't even live in the area anymore and I still find a way to eat from there whenever I can.

The service and food here is outstanding! All the dishes are amazing. Lamb and chicken Shish kebab are succulent. kofta is juicy and full of flavour. If I could give more stars I would. Check out their lunch menu if your in the area and bring the family back for dinner. A they also have a fully stocked bar if you fancied something stronger likes Ray and Nephew with cola.
