We had the pulled pork burger. It was so incredibly delicious. Sensational. We highly recommend it.

So welcoming the owner Jim is superrr nice food drinks amazing great place to come near/borough market esp when raining has outdoor seating that’s covered indoor as well. Love to support people with businesses like this that are welcoming provide an atmosphere esp when traveling that makes you feel welcomed in such a touristy area, worth every penny. Nice relaxing place in a crowded market. The burgers were nice cooked and tasty. The staff was helpful and friendly, overall a nice experience in the market area. I recommend them. The only thing that I didn't like is the fact that they charge for ketchup and mayo, and they bring you a teaspoon of each .... quite annoying

The burgers looked good, but the flavor left something to be desired. I ordered a Korean burger, the chicken had no flavor, it lacked seasoning, and the sauce was too barbecue-y and took away the flavor of everything. Terrible experience.

Very good place, we stopped there during a trip to London. The area is very popular for these restaurants and its food court - The Borough Market. The cuisine is generous and really good, few ingredients but lots of taste. I recommend this address for these Hamburgers, these hot dogs and these fries

A spectacular site. The waiter was very nice and polite, making sure we were comfortable several times. The dresser was splendid and the drink very good. They had an extensive menu. The place was super comfortable, and there was background music that made it very chill. A place worth eating.

The service was excellent even though we were 11 friends and the place wasn't very big, we were able to eat comfortably. They treated us great and there were no problems or confusion with the food. The facilities were very clean and we were able to split the bill comfortably.

We ordered it to go and had to wait in line against a wall for over 20 minutes. It had already been paid for, so there was nothing we could do. The food was delicious, but I would only go back to eat there and wait in a dignified manner.

Rude staff. We took an order for takeaway and wanted to change it to having it here and they said no. We were ready to pay extra but still they literally asked us to leave once the order is ready. Burgers can be great but a service like this not even makes it worth a single pound. If it's closing time you can so say do not need to say policy of the place.

Fair prices, fast service, and the burgers were good. Only downside: Limited beer selection.

SIN EMBARGO, las hamburguesas eran fenomenales, eran un poco diferentes a la hamburguesa promedio, cocinadas bien, sabrosas y llenas. The bearded waiter with glasses has an awful attitude; he should consider a different line of work. I ordered a pork sandwich and a Korean chicken sandwich—the food isn’t bad, but with this kind of service, it’s hard to enjoy the experience.

Even 1 star is too much for this place. Shitiest burger in my life soo rubbish,no favour, no seasoning seems like they rushing the food it looks they give for free but is not free you pay money and get no quality food. I had to use the ketchup and mayo paket sauces to add some favour to it.

Pequeño lugar fabuloso para una cena casual. Personal muy acogedor y amable. Algunas de las mejores hamburguesas de pollo que hemos probado, súper frescas, jugosas y bellamente presentadas. Bonito pequeño espacio al aire libre con mantas y calentadores de pared. Muy recomendable.

As a vegetarian there are very few options, the burgers are tasty, but very simple in terms of filling so few vegetables. Very friendly service and if you need anything you can always ask.

I had the korean chicken burger. Meat/sauce and the bun were very nice. However the greens were lacking, just a few tiny bits of spring onion and 1 lettuce leaf. The chips were nice but were served with just a thimble full of ketchup. For the price was expecting slightly better.

At first, I panicked, knowing I wouldn't be able to satiate her seemingly insatiable desires. Then, by chance, we stumbled upon Whiskey Ginger, and I was saved. Like a beacon of hope shining in the distance. A promised land if you will. The BBQ pulled pork burger was everything she needed at that moment and satisfied her in ways I never thought possible. I myself was seduced by the glory of the New York hot dog. This sausage was not only the best I've ever encountered, (and I've gobbled a lot of sausage), it changed me in ways I can't express. Not only did it change my hunger to contentment, but it also changed my life. It made me a better person. If I can offer any advice, I'd emplor you to visit Whiskey Ginger and take all the meat you can handle. Your life will never be the same again All joking aside, it's amazing food, go there!

The place looked so desirable for us with the burgers on display and thinking that it was one of the rare places you can sit while eating in Borough Market in London. However, the staff said it would take 30 minutes waiting time to get a table. Therefore, we opted for take away. Nonetheless, it took more time to get our take away crispy chicken burgers & fries, which was definitely not worth it 👎 They should change their frying oil more often than they do; in this way they can offer better smelling & tasting fries 🍟 On the other hand, I gotta say it’s a nice ambiance over there but it doesn’t worth waiting that much in my opinion 🤷‍♀️

In the middle and middle of the market and the burger is luxurious. We will definitely repeat!! Very friendly in their treatment and very fast.

This is a great place at Borough Market, we stopped here as a meeting place with friends for drinks. The signature drink Whiskey Ginger is awesome, they have a great selection of food and drinks. It's not the biggest place but if you can get a table you'll enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I recently passed by Whisky Ginger at Borough Market over the weekend and decided to try their burgers after seeing them on display. However, I wasn’t particularly impressed. I ordered a chicken burger with fries, but I could tell the cooking oil was quite old, which was also noticeable in the color of the chicken. Instead of stopping here, I would recommend trying other options around the market. We initially wanted to sit down, but the staff mentioned a 30-minute wait for seating, so we opted for take-away, which also had a 30-minute wait time.

Nos topamos con este lugar mientras barajamos a través de un mercado del condado muy ocupado y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Ambiente encantador y servicio amable... pero eso no fue todo, llegaron las hamburguesas y Dios mío, fue la mejor hamburguesa de pollo que he comido en mi vida. Tuvimos la Torre Trump (hecha esa mañana según el gerente) - qué alegría absoluta.

Estaba ocupado, pero pudimos entrar y pedimos la hamburguesa de pollo coreana y la hamburguesa de ternera de la firma y ninguno decepcionado, ambos sabían fantástico. Sin duda volveremos a visitar y vale la pena probar para cualquiera que visite el mercado del condado.

My first visit today, I’m glad to report was met with great food and service. Such a busy place but the staff just took it all in their stride. I had the House burger and the other half had a plain burger, we shared the chips and both were delicious. The Portabello Pale Ale also went down nicely. We will definitely return. Great food and service in such a busy area, what’s not to like.

I'm a street photography this place got attention from because of the lighting and the food smells great and the really nice man with really nice beard I spoke with him he was very happy and polite and the staff in the bar were very friendly too and liked the photos I took I would be happy to come back with friends best wishes Anthony.

Great success!! Fast food restaurant, the burgers and fries were very delicious with great flavor and perfect quantity. The waiters were very pleasant, they accommodated us in the upper part with plenty of space since we were with a girl. Looking forward to repeating!

I love this place. You could consider it a 'hidden gem'of London down in Borough Market. The vibe here is great with good music and a great atmosphere. The burgers and fries are delicious and the selection of cocktails is great. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat or a spot for a drink... or do what i do and do both!

The lovely vibrant little cocktail bar and restaurant has a cosy rustic character- perfect for the rainy day that was! The Korean chicken burger and Loaded Fries were recommended by our server, Tony and, my goodness the combination was delicious! We sat in a little corner, simply enjoying the magnificent atmosphere and the 'illegally fabulous' food! It was perfect for a family reunion and offers a great range for kids. The child in our group is normally very picky but she DEVOURED the Popcorn chicken with fries. We were s party of five and this place offers the intimacy to catch up over excellent food and drinks. The staff are considerate, friendly and knowledgeable and they genuinely made us feel welcome! I'm SO glad my family and I came here to spend time together before they return to the States this weekend. We shared precious memories here and I would happily bring close friends or family here again. Thank you all for a magnificent visit.

Great food! We went for lunch and sat on the patio outside. Good place for people watching. The service was great, really nice server and our food came out pretty quickly given how busy it was. Had some fun and creative topping combinations for the hot dogs. Hot dogs were great. It’s in a touristy place, so it wasn’t cheap, but would still say it’s decently priced. Would go again!

I chose this place to escape the general crowd of Borough Market. The food was displayed in front of the restaurant and after making my decision, I went to an empty table to sit. As I was passing by, a young waitress with blue eyes and glasses stopped me and told me to come to the entrance of the restaurant. At first I couldn't understand and was shocked, she told me very rudely that I shouldn't sit down before she seated me. I am Turkish and in my country this is considered very unprofessional in the service sector because customers come there to have fun and have a good time, not to be educated! It wasn't a big mistake and there was never any need for such a warning. I didn't let it bother me and ate my meal. The hamburger was nice but I can't say it was amazing. The funny thing is that a Spanish couple sat down in front of me in the same way and the same waitress came and warned them too, the couple was shocked and asked if they needed to get up. The waitress said no but be careful next time. I hope the owners of this place read this, if this is normal in your country, it's really a shame :)

Legitimately one of the best burgers I have ever had (WG House Burger). The flavor was immense and full. My husband got the special (like a buffalo chicken) and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The location is excellent, perfect for people watching. The staff was lively and happy. It was a fun place to sit and just experience the area. We will be back on our next trip to London.

Amazing food in a historic location, it can be busy and loud but that added to the experience. The staff are next level very friendly and welcoming with a cheeky smile. I would definitely recommend you give it a try even if it is just a takeaway but better still eating in.

Great place for great burgers. Had the Korean BBQ chicken burger and it was amazing so full of flavour and oosing with sauce (I'm told the prepare their own sauce daily) Chips were good as was the drink selection. Found the price reasonable too. Borough market was heaving on a Saturday afternoon and you may have to wait for a seat but by chance we timed it right managed to sit straight down. They offer takeaway too. Staff were polite and welcoming and quick. Would recommend this place and look forward to visiting again next time I'm in town

Rustic pub with a small outdoor restaurant, it's great what the team grills and cooks outside the restaurant. But it was really great. We enjoyed the food and it was a top performance considering all the hustle and bustle (Sunday lunchtime in Borough Market). Thank you, we'll be back 🙏

The "Whiskey Ginger" is located directly at Borough Market and offers a great selection of burgers and the like. at. Both burgers (Korean Chicken Burger and WG House Burger) were extremely juicy and super tasty. Price-performance totally justified.

Went here with a couple of friends and burger was delicious. However, I was quite disappointed when as paying customers the manager didn't allow us to use the toilet at the end of our meal which we was confused about.

The display definitely looked better than the taste. Chicken and beef burger were a bit dry and not as flavorful as expected. There was also a lot of bread in each bite. Good chips and a good stop to have a drink if you are in the area of the market. It’s busy but we were able to get some barstool seating upstairs. Service was great. Just wished the food had a bit more flavor.

Love this little hot spot. Went for casual lunch, our second time here. Wife had frankfurter and I had the Cheesy burger, requested a carmelizing of the normally raw onions…no problem. Had a couple of menu drinks. All of it was terrific and served with fun hospitality! The owner, Jim, is a wonderful personality and he visited with us for a bit. Whiskey ginger is a cool burger restaurant and bar next to Borough market. They offer modern burgers in a cool location. Very often the restaurant is full. They play cool music and if you get a seat outside you can watch the scenario and people outside. The taste of the burger was very good. The prices are not cheap, you pay also for the location. I enjoyed my burger during lunchtime there.

Located in a narrow passageway that is a main thoroughfare for entrance to the market, ensuring a “feeding time at the zoo” vibe as all the tourists gawp at you and your food as they slowly file past. The food is cooked (by cooked, I mean fried) on the other side of the line of tourists and when it’s ready, placed on the pass (by pass I mean a ledge that is even closer to the passing tourists) and an alert sound is made. After 5 minutes of a burger sitting there, it transpired that it was our order. The waiter brought it over without the chips we ordered with it, which then had to be made. Buttermilk chicken burger was very greasy. Chips were allegedly “chunky” but were a weird hollow delta shape. Popcorn chicken was ok. Seating is folding rickety wooden garden chairs, very uncomfortable. Loud dance music adds to the general discomfort of the experience. 10% service charge added automatically. Would not recommend, especially as there as so many other fabulous places and things to eat in the immediate vicinity.

If you go to Borough Market please visit this place if you want to try amazing tasty Burgers. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Everyone was so nice that we felt very welcome. The Pulled Pork Burger was absolutely amazing. Delicious and juicy with a nice soft bun and a Smokey sauce . It was so good 😊 I can definitely recommend this place !

pretty bad burger. the wg "aged beef" burger was like if you left a McDonald's burger out for a bit and had that, but added soggy onions, a stale bun, and a boat load of BBQ sauce to cover up any taste. not worth the 20 minute wait and definitely not worth the 10.95

Fantastic food! If you’re looking for a taste from back home (U.S.) this is the place to go! Burgers were amazing and the mac and cheese bites were out of this world! Give this place a go.
