Lovely place to order from, food is excellent

The Golden Kebab House is very good and the kebabs delicious. It is my 'go to' takeaway as I know the quality is always good, the shop looks very clean and the staff are very friendly.

great kebab meat, not massive for a large. large chips!!! makes me wonder what the standard chips are like.... these were an average size portion. All tastes nice and would use again

I can’t believe the chips were hot and hot kebab. Such a change to enjoy hot food and this restaurant isnt my closest. I will definitely make that my go to in future. Highly recommend

In the area for a few days. We had a Lamb Shish and a Chicken kebab. Was amazing, as were the staff. The taste of the meat was great. No greasy/oily mess in the bottom of the pitta bread. Loved it. Highly recommended.

The donner and lamb shish was tasty and well cook. The rest of the food looked good and all got eaten. The chips weren't the normal soggy mess you get from places. Delivery was spot on as well.

Large lamb sheish kebab was very poor. Very Small amount of meat and it was full of grissle. Packed out with lettuce and cabbage. I've had my first sheish kebab here not so long ago and that was totally a different experience. A bit scetchy!

No idea how this place has the reviews it has. Ordered here as staying in haven holiday park and the reviews and online pics looked decent. Have to say it was the worst kebab we’ve ever had. Soggy chips and awful awful quality meat (even for a kebab!) salad looks like it was found in the bottom of a bin .. £9 for two boxes of the worst salad wouldn’t even give it to my rabbit. My mouth has already shrivelled up from the salt intake … do not recommend.

Burger bun was hard and chips not fresh

Arrived at reasonable time but was freezing cold when got here. Pitta was like charcoal, and the kebab tasted very very strange. At first I thought it was the sauce but my partner had a different sauce and hers tasted just the same. Shame as had from here before and was lovely but this has put us right off not only this shop but kebabs in general. Was Disgusting

Put ketchup on my lamb donner when I asked for mayo ! Gave me a small instead of a large it was tiny.

Normally decent but recently it's been shocking chicken donner is either dripping in oil or burnt and hard to chew. Fries and the same sort of stuff used.in the fryer are soggy and rubber. It's a shame as I've had decent food from these guys before

They are my go to for local Kebab Delivery, always make lovely food and delivery on time. One time I got my order wrong through Just eat and was able to phone up and amend it. Man on the phone was very helpful and was all sorted within 5 minutes. great food and great service, would recommened

Total rubbish ordered a large and an extra large. The extra large was no larger than with the large and the pita was burnt.

Lovely food, nice delivery driver

I don’t normally review, however Unfortunately the food was Luke warm, part of the order was not as ordered and the lamb was very chewy and over cooked.

The second time we have used the golden grill and never again as it’s the second time our order was wrong. I called them and they offered to cook the correct food but despite this yet again the wrong food was delivered.

Have been using this take out now for over a year. And normally food good. Tonight lamb shish inedible as too grizzly, the chips tasted of polystyrene, on further investigation the polystyrene had been put on the heat and had melted on to the chips. Absolutely awful.

Meat was cooked the night before and reused, tasted old, we ordered a dip source which we were charged for but it wasn’t included in the order. Really disappointed with the outcome of the order and don’t think I will be coming back here.

When we first started using the golden grill 6 months ago their food was great, unfortunately recently they have gone down hill constantly forgetting part of the orders plus the salad that accompanies the kebabs now seems to consist of just raw onion. I love to support local businesses but something seems to have really wrong with their attention to detail.

Honest review. Disappointed. Ordered a large mixed kebab. The chicken was good, lamb was cold and soggy. Had enough lettuce to feed a rabbit. It's a shame as it used to be great here.. I would only score it 3 out of 10.. will not be using it again.. the wife had a chicken burger.. again cold and tasteless. The mother in law had a chicken shish. She said it was tasty but looked like they chucked it from across the other side of the room.. as I said at the start.. disappointed..

Normally I've eaten from here before and the food was good. This time it wasn't. I ordered a large chicken done. Nearly all the meat was burnt and charred. Couldn't eat it. My friend has a lamb doner and shortly after was ill. I don't know if it was different staff to normal. But it's put me off going back and eating out in general.

Have been using this place for a few years now and have always been happy until tonight, ordered 2 large kebabs when I watched the owner use the same knife he had just used to open raw chicken to cut my pita bread open then use the same tongs he used to hold the raw chicken to put my cooked lamb meat in, told him what he had just done and all he said was sorry so I told him to cancel my order and said I won't be using them again 🤢🤮
