Golden Gourmet in Worcester

Prices have gone up and quality down. 2 kebabs, 1 mini fish, 2 battered sausages, 2 chips and a curry sauce for almost £40 absolute rip off. The quality has gone down over the past 12 months. Wont be going back

The food is very delicious and tasty, I've tried so many other takeaway places in Worcester but keep coming back to this takeaway, you will never find another takeaway in Worcester that sell delicious food that you can really enjoy like here. I've tried many other places and had to throw the food away in the bin but I'm very very happy with the food from here. A big THANK YOU FOR YOUR DELICIOUS TASTY FOOD.

We have been using this place for years and the food is excellent. Never had a bad meal. I am unsure about some of the poor reviews. The staff have always been lovely to us and the food fabulous.

Their opening hours are advertised as closing at 8.30pm. Twice now we have been there at around 8.05pm and they’ve been cleaning up and won’t do anything that isn’t just chips or whatever very sorry-looking fish they’ve got lurking round. Give it a miss!

Seriously £18 for two, under cooked fish and chips It went in bin Brought early. Brought just after 6pm No queue Tuesday night Don’t waste you money.

We have never been disappointed with the food from the Golden Gourmet, it is always delivered piping hot and on time. Excellent service, this is our go-to fish and chip take-away!

If you order a takeaway in advance and are given a collection time, you don't expect to be shouted at rudely and ordered to the back of a very long queue without any explanation. If their "system" involves extensive waiting after the stated collection time, this should be made absolutely clear when ordering. Couldn't possibly order from them in future or recommend them to anyone.

We ordered fish and chips x 5 via the Golden Gourmet's order website Just-Eat. Cost £43.80 including Just-Eat's 50p "service charge". Chose collection rather than delivery and were given a time. This was the first time we had used this shop, but it looked good and worth a try. Turned up at the specified time to collect, found a queue of people outside and were told in no uncertain terms to get to the back of the queue. Time was of the essence, we were unable to wait and so were obliged to walk away without our paid-for food order. What's the point of pre-ordering and being given a collection time? Go elsewhere!
