Fatty tiny ribs - fatty beef in main dish , not much flavour - took 90 mins to arrive -first order and last

Food Lovely and hot . Chicken Chow Mein moist and tasty and Sweet and Sour chicken has lots of crunchy chicken and vegetables and is delicious.

Our "go to" Chinese locally in the Henleaze area. The menu is massive and the portions are great. Also priced very well and tastes great.

Order took nearly two hours, food was dry. Chicken balls burned and egg friend rice not great. Phoned to ask where my delivery was and they were quite rude. Wouldn’t recommend

Quality reasonable crispy duck dried out

I had ordered chicken balls, chips and curry sauce and I wasn’t satisfied with my food unfortunately. The chicken balls were different to how they usually are looks and taste wise. I wasn’t impressed with the look or taste of the chicken balls. The chips were cold and hardish. At to top it off the curry sauce wasn’t yummy either. I was looking forward to a lovely Chinese tonight but unfortunately I was not satisfied with my food and me and my partner did NOT enjoy this meal tonight.

I requested not to ring the doorbell, instead call me. the delivery person didn't call me and rang the doorbell. absolutely unacceptable !!! I wrote in the 'notes' not to ring the doorbell and put down my phone number so that the delivery person can call me instead. nothing was read, as it was clear and he rang the doorbell. what is the point of putting a 'Notes' section while ordering, if it's not followed.

chow mien was amazing but the salt and Pepper squid was still nearly frozen, the batter was stale and squid really chewy!

Hi I ordered Chinese yesterday said it would be delivered between half 8 and 9 it didn’t arrive so I called the restaurant who said there was a problem with the driver it should of been delivered so they delivered it again and didn’t receive my order until 10:00 and had ordered it at 7:50 . By then didn’t feel like eating it anymore. Sent from my iPhone

Used Golden Gate for years. It's good fresh food but on occasion we've ordered through the website and have had to call after an hour several times to find out where our food is!

The waiting time for it to be delivered was appalling. Waited over an hour was within the time frame but I’d expect it to arrive beforehand especially for 3 items. If you don’t have enough drivers than don’t do delivery.

Ordered via their website and delivery was estimated 45mins. Took Almost 2 hours to arrive and then order was wrong. Food tasted ok but we won’t be using again.

Part of the order was wrong and the shop offered to deliver it however I said that we would order agin as the food was nice and to add it to the order one day next week. First time we ordered from here seems like a nice family friendly takeaway.

Hi I would like a refund I did try and contact you few days ago but email said sent but no one gets back to me I wud like a refund the food was off rice was hard very poor quality I cudnt eat it I wud like a refund please I'm still waiting on my refund from before as food was terrible then thought I wud try again but still the same please can you sort my fecund many thanks

Worst egg fried rice I've ever tasted - very blend & the rice was over cooked. The Ribs were ok but not enough sauce & l've tasted better! All in all very disappointing.

Marked as 20 minutes collection, which went up to 50 as soon as paid. Big portions I can give you that... and nothing more! S&S chicken was reeking of vinegar yet too sweet. Beef, however, was bland in taste and chewy. This was the first time in my life I had to season my Chinese takeaway. I won't mention pancakes and fritters as those landed in the bin. Rice and prawn crackers were OK, I guess there is not much that can go wrong with those. Very disappointed. Won't take the risk of buying again.

Just when I thought I'd found a good Chinese, I was delivered the most horrific bbq spare ribs I have ever tried to chew. Literally a dog would have struggled!! There is no way they were cooked fresh or even the same day, and if they were, then that chef needs sacking because they felt at least 3 days old!! I'd like a refund for them, but no doubt no one would take responsibility or admit I was served either days old or seriously over cooked ribs! And the seaweed was gross too!! Shocking!! Not good when you're really hungry!!! Very very disappointed and will stick to the takeaways where I know what quality of food is going to turn up, from now on. Even if it's not great at least I know it's better than that !!

The Singapore fried rice was just bland. It was as if all the ingredients were just put in a pot and served. Never ordering from here again 🙄
