We have been visiting this pub twice a year since 2020. Always a great welcome and atmosphere. Some times the pub is quiet and other times it is lively. The prices on alcohol is very reasonable and we refuse to visit Hereford without making this our local go-to.

Not many proper pubs left in Hereford. The type of pubs that have locals that are local. Under new management and the toilets are amazing!

The Fleece(locals name) has changed managers a few times recently. Antonia & her dad Tony ( great Brums) ran it for 6 weeks & they were really nice. It has recently changed managers again to Gary, his husband Brian & Kyle. These guys are such fun, very warm & welcoming when Stu, his sight dog Omar & I visit. They are doing bingo nights on Thursday & Karaoke nights. They have four dogs & are very dog friendly, not just to sight dogs. They will sit with you & chat, when not serving or collecting empty glasses. They say they are here for the long haul & I really hope so because the regulars really want that.

Lovely pub with a great welcome, great effort to be covid safe. Fabulous pint of Butty Bach. Great touch with push button ordering. Wish this was in Tamworth.

This review is actually for EN BBQ Hereford (slighty different name but same location). I was looking for a spicy quick vegan lunch and spotted this on the menu 'Rice Bowl Bibimbap with tofu & avocado". It was lovely. Totally recomend it too eat in as the pipping hot clay bowl creates that gorgous crisy rice you get at the bottom of wok rice.

Proper home cooked lemon sponge cake. Tasty. Decent cup of tea. Friendly pleasant atmosphere. Now I still have to get up to 100 words.

Popped in to meet with a friend. I decided on breakfast and had poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado and bacon. It was superb. Good coffee too.

We had a wonderful night at this restaurant! The food was outstanding (and excellent value for money), as was the service we received - the staff made us feel so welcome and looked after. The menu was varied and it was so difficult to decide what to have but I settled on the cannelloni and I was not disappointed! The setting of the restaurant was unbelievable, right on the water, we took some beautiful photos on the bridge right outside. All in all a truly wonderful experience I won't forget. It was so good we even went back the next day for coffee and a crepe (would recommend this!)
