Very poor food. The lemon chicken was like eating candy, way too sweet. Dumplings were ok, wine was ok but overall very poor. We left the chicken almost untouched and told the waitress that it was unedible but she didn’t care. Spent £38 and left hungry. Go somewhere else. Never asked for track and trace either,

Never had a bad meal here. Using the place for over 20 years! Used to have to queue out the door so popular. Prob the best AND the cheapest in the city, best chow mein, fried rice, curry, crispy beef, chicken balls, chop wui etc. u'll ever get. Take no notice of the idiots that r too lazy to get off their arse to go fetch their own food. 5*.

Avoid! If you want your chicken satay in a watery sauce with onions, peppers & pineapple, not a hint of peanut sauce then it's the place for you though.

Stop!!! Food was dog awful. Satay skewers where a disaster as previous reviews have mentioned. The chicken was brittle and pale with a thin satay sauce covering them. Not what I expected. Chow Mein Chicken was exactly the same. I dont know what chicken it was but it's some cheap pre cut, diced frozen chicken, I'll bet a months wage on it. The fried rice was wet, it tasted soggy and had a strange flavour to it. The noodles where also soggy not the standard noodle from a Chinese. Prawn Crackers where tossed from the back of the shop and into a delivery bag, so it would seem. Crushed, burnt and had hairs in the bag. The food is absolutley vile. NEVER Again!!

Place looks rough and I guess late at night it probably is rough. But the food is really good, even if your not drunk. So go early before the drunks turn up or get it delivered.

Half sized portions and those that weren’t were padded out with onion and cucumber which ruined flavour of entire dish for me as despise cucumber! Was also stone cold. Very disappointing!

Very quick delivery each time we have used them. We had a free big bottle of tango each time we ordered. And the portions size is excellent. and very tasty. Definalty use again.

The portions here are very tight and lots of veg used to bulk up meat dishes which is an old trick, I guess onions are cheap. I expect more for my money though and will not use this takeaway again.

Routine curry shed. You might use it late at night if their were huge queues in the dozen or so other takeaways within a hundred metres. I have no unhappy memories of this place. Average menu and prices.

Ordered the House Special "Fried" rice, and it looked liked it had just been boiled, not fried. The veg was huge, and belonged in a chow mein, not a rice dish. The order was delivered 40 minutes late. The Sweet and Sour Chicken balls, we're actually pretty nice. Chicken and noodle soup was tasteless, with very little chicken, Kung Po Chicken was 99% cashew nuts. The chips were over cooked. Won't be ordering from here again

It appears that the staff had someone compose the previous review early hours this morning. As last night I ordered from this place and after being spoken to so badly, I asked for her name, she refused to provide it. I have never encountered such discourtesy before. I placed an order and clearly communicated my preferences, especially since she specifically stated that the chicken chow mein came with barbecue sauce. I also asked do they do egg for the rice. The lady stated yes. I clearly remember my conversations, even when I first called the receptionist was distracted and kept telling me to hold. Instead of receiving egg fried rice or chicken chow mein, I was only given special fried rice. While I understand that mistakes happen, I was shocked by the bad attitude I faced when I called. She wouldn't acknowledge her error or even accept there was a miscommunication. (maybe if she listened and concentrated when I was on the phone). There are two young girls at the desk taking orders, and unfortunately, their immature behaviour and lack of customer service are hurting this business. Aside from the review that was evidently written by one of their friends, early hours this morning, stating her name, you'll find that the most recent feedback highlights the poor attitude of the customer service. However, the delivery personnel were very polite and genuinely apologetic about the situation. Why not have them at the reception instead? First point of contact is very important. I currently will not be placing any more orders here. But maybe an apology would be helpful. Your staff could benefit from basic customer service training, as the receptionist seems unable to handle basic complaints. I assume you also allow them to respond to customers reviews on here, as some replies are very unprofessional. Their replies sometimes suggest a refusal to accept that their customer service was inadequate, showing in capability of learning and willingness to provide better service.
