Golden Dragon Chinese takeaway in Carlisle

Called in for takeaway- the food was awful- - the crispy shredded chicken was like rubber bands, black pepper chicken was tasteless slop, singapore chow mein was all noodles with minimal veg and meat and the salt n pepper chips had been reheated that many times they were inedible. This used to be an ok takeaway, but they seem to have lost the love! I wont be back....

Never had a bad delivery from here they even know our address off by heart, portions always enough left over for the next night's tea.

Got a special fried rice from this takeaway tonight. Container was only half full and a lot more expensive than other Chinese take away places. Won't be back

Rang up order at 7.30 and still waiting for food to come .rang up and they said it was on way .never arrived bad customer service Big time very disappointed won’t be using them again

3 hours in total we waited for a 5 containers of food & chips, we understand that weekends are busy but 3 hours is very much a joke, if you cant handle the demand dont take on more orders. As if waiting 3 hours wasn't bad enough I found a medium length black hair in my chips. I am blonde, my children are fair and my partner barely has any. It's safe to say we never even got to eat the rest of the meal and ended up with another takeaway. Save yourself waiting 3 hours, save yourself the horror of almost eating someone else's hair and spending the night wretching at the idea.

Told on the phone approximately 1hour or just over its now been 2 hours and 25 minutes and its still not here! Bad service, lies from the guy taking the telephone calls saying it left at past 6 for a girl to tell me they've had to remake it with no explanation! Just a total shambles and your past hunger by the time waited..... oh and its still not here!!!!

We happened on this takeaway as we were staying up the road, we actually had food from there three times in the week it was that good, curry was just right not too hot, the rest of the family had various meals and all commented how good they were , my choices had been the curry , then next time I had an omelette and chips as I though I just wanted a plain m3al , then next night I selected crispy beef in honey and garlic fries as I wanted something I had not tried before, well this was the best thing I have had from a Chinese, I jus5 wish I could find somewhere in south tyne that does it similar , the menu is quite vast with all kinds of Oriental meals and they even do Udon noodles which I haven’t seen anywhere else, just a fabulous takeaway and worth hunting out if you are in Carlisle area
