Newtown Chinese takeaway in Carlisle

I have been looking for great Thai food everywhere. In America, there was a Thai restaurant that I Missed dearly..since then I have been on a voyage to find something atleast close to my beloved restaurant in Florida...well.. . EVERYONE. I FOUND IT. Thai thai's Pad Thai Noodles are phenomenal. The spice is PERFECT and it is All cooked perfectly and fresh. The Satay sauce (peanut sauce) is a MUST. The duck fried rice will make you swoon...hoooyahhh. The Pork ribs have an amazing bbq sauce..the flavors are out of this world. They were also not overly sauce.. however meticulously and thoroughly done. The meat just falls off the bone. Anytime me and my twinsoul and family come through.we will be coming here. ah-Maze-balls..fanny frickin tastic. Thank you!!!

Absolutely amazing food..so tasty and reasonably priced..finally found an Eastern cuisine place that knows food. Best salt n chilli chips I have ever tasted..

Chicken was very dry and the jungle curry didn't have much heat. Apart from that it tasted okay. Not bad.

With out a doubt this has to be the best Chinese take away in Carlisle. All food is freshly cooked. A massive plus for this take away is that it also serves freshly battered fish and serves REAL chips. Staff are always friendly and very customer focused..

We ordered a £30 takeaway. After been 30 mins late we phoned them to ask where it was. Eventually over an hour late it turned up telling us that a major part was missing because they ran out. SENT IT BACK. when we phoned them they tried to claim that they phoned us to explain, which they never or did they mention it when we phoned them. Not the first time this takeaway has made a mistake. Will not be using again!!!

After staying at Tranquill Otter, just 4 miles away, my husband and I wanted an evening in with a Chinese take away. Staff were friendly and food was tasty! The chow mien was gorgeous. We planned to keep some for the next day but it was so yummy we stuffed our faces then felt too full to do anything else. That to be is a good Chinese 👍🏻
