Very fast delivery and tasty food

Food was hot and tasty, however I ordered beef & mushroom curry and it was only beef. Mushrooms my favourite in a curry so was disappointed there were none in it

I ordered the beef curry and fried rice today on the 06,03,25 and it's The worst beef curry I've ever tried the beef was just pure fat I couldn't even eat it I threw the lot into the bin pure waste of money a cheap tin of beef curry would have been far better that the rubbish this shop sold and if it was beef it didn't taste like it I spat it out and scraped the lot into a bag to go in the bin outside where it belongs don't buy food from here IAM just glad I never swallowed any beef I might have got food poisoning with this rubbish Do not buy from here.

Delivery was early! Food was spot on- only personal preference would have been crispier chips lol x

Best Chinese in Carlisle , food always hot and gorgeous.

Can't fault the service as it was ready really quickly and was piping hot. The taste of the side dishes were really nice. I'd ordered salt and pepper tofu and while the flavouring of the salt and pepper and vegetables were excellent the tofu itself tasted stale, and was the texture of a sponge. It would have been much nicer with a fresher, firmer tofu.

The ribs were chewy and dry, the fried rice was not prepared correctly, and the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls had an unusual flavor. The entire order was unlike any Chinese cuisine I have previously experienced. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this establishment again due to the high cost and lack of quality in any of the dishes. I am quite disappointed with the overall experience.save ur money

Sweet n sour chicken balls with fried rice ..awful ! Chicken balls were soggy fried rice clumpy and mushy and sauce had an after taste ..ate some because hungry but rest went in bin .what a waste of money wont use again

Got the share box absolutely vile, chicken was pulled out of freezer straight into fryer puke, and the box was smothered in salt waste of money and time disgusting never again. Do not recommend to anyone.

1st time from ordering from here but won't be the last. Yes delivered early but that wasn't a problem as we were at home. Shame we couldn't find chop suey on the menu but what we ordered was very tasty.

Best sauces from any Chinese! the curry sauce and sweet and sour are the best with perfect flavour. The crispy beef could be more crispy other than that so delicious.

Chinese got delivered to wrong address, was offered a refund still haven’t got it and they won’t answer the phone

Decent food, slightly more expensive than others

Not a happy bunny! Avoid like fire! Food took 2 hours to arrive despite calling to chase up after an hour. I couldn’t cancel because food was on its way. Nonsense! Called again after 1.5h. to be told that delivery driver won’t be long! Lad was very nice. To top it up, food was not worth the wait. Salty, bland and my duck still had skin on. Not even crispy. Very disappointing indeed.

Delivered early which was fine, only took 30 minutes! Food was delicious and they even threw in some free vegetable spring rolls which were lovely!

I left a review for an order this evening on 24/12/2023. I was hasty in writing my review as we have always had excellent service and food from Happy Kitchen. The order was late because it was Christmas Eve and they were very busy and the house wasn’t easy to find which are all variables out of their control. Thank you for the delivery the food was excellent as always. I wish I could delete my previous review but unfortunately I can’t. Thank you.

So fresh and tasty. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. S&S king prawns were just beautiful.

Tepid chips , and meat in dish looked like off cuts , usually the best in town , just not tonight

Got pineapple instead of banana fritters and pineapple and ginger duck not pineapple duck which I did not eat as not keen on ginger. Not sure if it was a glitch in the ordering system? Food was hot and on time.

Quick delivery, ordered the munchie box and was very disappointed so many chips and barely any meat, wings and ribs had barely any meat on them so pretty much paid £13.80 for a box of chips and curry sauce.

First time ordering. Arrived slightly earlier than the requested time, this was not an issue. Portion sizes are pretty good and the food was tasty. We ordered a crispy chicken in a Peking sauce, chicken chow mein, and another chicken in a pineapple Peking sauce along with some prawn crackers. They sent a portion of mini spring rolls free of charge, which was a nice touch. Will definitely use again. Thank you

I have a ring doorbell. I have video footage of driver just putting food on door step . He did not press door bell. I fpund food on door step an hour and a half later. I called restaurent they said driver waited over 5 minutes. Thats not true. Video shows him getting out car putting food on door step then leaving. Avoid in future.

Decent enough. Nice soup. Chicken balls and salt and pepper chips were soggy because they were in polystyrene but the flavour was still there. Not keen on the sweet and sour sauce, very lemony reminded me of washing up liquid. Nice chow mein

What has happened to this place . Ordered my usual special fried rice and came as dry as ghandis flip flop .. meat inedible! Chips I could of smashed windows with!! Haven't had a Chinese take away for a long time and I will never ever come here again!! Prawn crackers were fried in old dirty oil and stale!! Actually gutted!!!

I have been using Happy Kitchen for years but my order today 2/ 09/2023was disgusting re heated chips and as for the rest of the food ordered well I can only say I was not impressed don't think I'll be using you again Good takeaway gone bad Carlisle takeaways need to up their game instead of serving rubbish food

Seeing as this is a takeaway only your questions are irrelevant however I have used Happy Kitchen for years and it has been exceptional but I ordered today 2nd September 2023 and the food was disgusting I will order one more time in the future and if the food is still the as disgusting then I will never use Happy Kitchen again Very very poor

The worst Chinese I’ve ever had. So bland. Sweet and sour sauce was just red lemon juice, a lot he food was bland. Made me feel Ill too. Never going back do not recommend if you actually like to taste food
