Best chinese by far. Better than cleobury mortimer, Tenbury and Kidderminster We may have to travel 12 miles but worth it for the quality and staff always polite

We were on holiday in the area in the middle of October this year, (2024) and decided to get a takeaway from Golden Country, and I can honestly say that it was the best Chinese food we'd both tasted in years, if ever! We only waited 5 to 10 minutes and it was hot, very well cooked and very tasty! We would thoroughly recommend anyone to try it and the price was very reasonable too!

This is Chinese takeout only. I usually avoid it as it's full of additives. This is one of the better ones and I have it occasionally. The food is "cleaner" than other Chinese takeaways, tastes nice, service is quick.

Best Chinese takeaway in bewdley, even Kidderminster, freshly made, everything is cooked to perfection, never had any bad things to say in the last 15 years, I go here at least twice a week.

Bbq spare ribs just grease no sauce no bbq taste at all must of changed chef ill never use this one again ever waste of my money

Best chinese takeaway we have had in ages, large portions of very tasty food, the mushrooms were large & juicy, loved it.

Disappointed in them. I spend 80 pounds a month with these guys, they missed two items off my order tonight and said they wouldn't do anything to help me, found it pretty funny. Talked over me on the phone, said it didnt matter that our food would be cold. That 80 pounds wasn't a lot. Well, it is to me, a Chinese is a treat, I'm glad they think 80 pounds isn't a lot of money. Making a fortune from taking payment for food they don't include in the bag. Avoid.

Made my order and even though they were very busy I only waited a short time. Great service and totally enjoyed every mouth full. Thank you golden country.

This place used to be really good, but sadly now, it has sunk to the pits. If you call aerly as we normally do, well used to. You, will be served with reheated leftovers from the night before. Shame on you, Golden Country. You used to be the best, sadly no more.

Firstly we ordered set menu for two which was excellent value and they happily substituted one of dishes Huge portions Found both beef I. Black bean and chicken cashew a bit bland Rest was gorgeous and spring rolls excellent Only take cash

Hung up on me in a rude manner, couldn't be bothered to answer my enquiry about food allergies. Disgusting behaviour don't risk your health.... called on a Monday might of understood on a Friday or Saturday.

Great Chinese restaurant, be better if they took contactless payments as they are cash only. You got to try the salt and pepper ribs, they are awesome!

By FAR the best Chinese take-away in Bewdley. Offering a vast and interesting menu, we have used this place loads of times and NEVER been disappointed. Check out the queues outside on a Friday and Saturday night and you'll know what I mean... Top notch and excellent VFM.

ordered by phone take away due to covid 19. placed order given collection time arrived and paid . very clean 2 meter distance ,food was very nice, good size portions hot and tasted delicious will use again for definite worth the 7 week wait for opening well done

On the way back from holiday decided on a takeaway while passing through bewdley, great decision , food was great best we have had for years, large portions had enough left for the next day which saved me cooking, still tasted great warmed up. cannot wait to try other items on the menu. 10 out of 10

Very expensive , tasteless and boring

This has the best prawn sweet and sour cantonese I have ever had, and time and time it always excells, brilliant, I usually have to order 4 or 5 portions

This is the best Chinese I have had for many years, the sweet and sour cantonese dish is excellent, with Yung Chow fried rice, and good value.

Picked up a takeaway here when we were camping at Hopleys last weekend. They were well busy when we went in but they still had our order ready in about 15 minutes. I had the roast pork kung po which was delicious. Not too sweet and with enough fire. Liz had the Hong Kong stylee sweet and sour. I tried a bit and it was yummy. She liked it too. If you order rice, we did and it's good, a portion of rice means just that. It's not like some Chinese takeaways where it means enough for two people.

Cash only which is a major drawback as I rarely have money on me. Quick service. No atmosphere as it is purely a take away.

Excellent food, well worth a visit..

Food is always good here although sometimes get the odd order wrong ,last time ordered mushroom foo yung and received just a portion of mushrooms instead,but still keep returning as we think its the best one in the area.Saturday early evening is always really busy and there can be a wait.

Very busy on Saturday evening but didn't have to wait too long. Would consider telephone order next time! Food very good.

Had better, asked for chicken and prawn curry. Could not do it had to have one or the other.

I'm.gutted this place don't deliver food , I have moved from area but still make the 35 minute drive to eat on occasions, this place holds alot of memories for me and that taste and quality of food has never changed , really great price .👍👍👍

Stopped in past as was late 1 evening . Typical menu . Quick service . Decent takeaway value . Portions were big . There was plenty pork and chicken in the dishes . All in all a standard takeaway

Not impressed woundnt av another take away

I hate it when you get a takeaway and its brill then the next time it is naff - the chicken chow mein is unbelievable. Noodles and beansprouts on the bottom - tasteless chicken on top then topped with two sprigs of brocolli - WTF is that about !!!

This is a popular Chinese takeaway that doesn't offer a delivery service. The best way is to order by phone where they give you a number and usually tell you it will be 20 minutes. At busy times you can expect the time to be double what they quote. The wait is worth it though if you like Chinese food. My experience is that the wait time is no different if you order by phone or over the counter.

Had a family gathering near by. Food was all good tasty and hot. I think there was one slight error but there were 10 meals on a busy Friday night so not a real issue.

Salt and Pepper chips are to die for. Please never change this recipe!

Large portions of food. Plenty of meat in the dishes rather than packing out with veg. Can't give full marks as we were missing a portion of rice. No bits of veg in the sweet n sour sauce. Delicious chicken balls. Recommend the beef curry

Crap food very very bland use the Mesum opposite the church in Hight street will deliver and good food as well.

a super venue for top notch food the staff were fantastic with our kids would defiantly return soon.

On my return visit to west midlands safari park (free tickets ) we had a takeout most after spending all day at West midlands safari park the food tasted excellent

This Chinese take-away is long standing and been feeding the locals of Bewdley for many years. Never had a bad meal from here, always find the staff efficient and friendly. Have used other take-aways in the town, but always come back to this one.

start with the negative and get it out the way. they change there menu and up the prices by 10-20p a time so over two years my normal meal has gone from £9.40 to £12.60. shouldnt complain though as the food is always nice and fast as well as being great value for money as the portions are massive, unlike some take aways that bulk up there meal with veg, here if you order meat, you just get meat.

excellent food.....especially hot'n'spicy spare ribs & beef & mushrooms in satay sauce. very good service too.would highly reccomend.
