Food was golden ✨️. The server was nice, the portions was rich, the house appetisers were absolutely delightful. The chicken in the large chow mein was quite large, but after cutting it down, the whole family enjoyed it. It was really, really good. I pray that this business prospers, in Jesus' Name, amen. The staff who took our order and gave us our food was very lovely and patient.

Decided to give here a try after seeing the one I usually use has a 1* food hygiene rating and I'm impressed. Staff polite, delivery guy polite, and the food was tasty. The only thing I would say about the food is that the chips were a tad firm. Could still eat them, but they just could have been a bit softer, in my opinion

Staying a local holiday park and my usual Chinese was closed so thought to try somewhere new and found this place firstly once I placed the order a member off staff called to double check my order as I had left notes of things I wanted to change which I was really impressed with because normal they just ignore the comments but they took the time to double check with me so already I was impressed. Food arrived 30/35 minutes after pipping hot all lovely fresh food definitely will be ordering again for sure. I would highly recommend there shredded crispy chilli beef absolutely spot on.

Ordered in the shop. Very pleasant lady served us. Not a long wait for food. Slightly more expensive than our normal Chinese where we live but overall it was nice and hot.

Ordered takeaway, the telephonist was polite, efficient, food was delivered within 20 mins. Excellently cooked, presented, taste was so good. This has recently been taken over apparently. We will most definately order again.

One of the best chinese in the area. Quality of food excellent. Tender to all your requirements (always ask for extra spicy). Must try is there chicken curry and spicey chips. Delivery drivers are consistent and friendly

This restaurant should be avoided, I called this evening and the service on the phone was disgusting. I wanted a home delivery, but was refused because I live on a traveller site. The owner asked the driver would he deliver to me , he point blank refused. I have walked in this restaurant several times before . # racist at its best.

Picked up from my local Chinese tonight, £8?!!! For this set menu box? Unacceptable, 3 ribs and a few chips a few Hong Kong pieces of chicken?? Is this for people on a diet? Don’t waste your money, food was soggy and cold and the ribs were basically bone! Will never go back again!

Best Chinese in town. Fast delivery and always hot. Value for money!

Food for two cost over £22. It was awful. Ribs consisted almost entirely of fat. Egg fried rice didn't seem to contain any discernable egg. Six prawns in the king prawn meal (whoopee!). This place used to produce quite nice food. The quality has certainly gone down. Only positive was it was cooked quickly ( I think this is a plus?). It seems that any more expensive ingredients (e.g. prawns/egg - are eggs really too dear???) are skimped on as much as possible. Most of mine went in the bin.

If you're a fan of Chinese cuisine then I can highly recommend Golden City, their food is outstanding and the service is excellent. They are currently operating under Covid-19 restrictions but don't let that put you off from buying a take away from them

The best Chinese takeaway in gorleston we get takeaway once a week we always get special curry , satay on skewers , satay noodles, and chips it's always delicious and the food is always hot we always enjoy we would definitely recommend

Best Chinese food in area love it.

I order a beef chow main and a sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style. It was very bland, the beef looked old and was tasteless. The chicken was not sweet has it seemed to be cooked in tomato soup, and left a horrid metallic taste in my mouth. It was gross, ended up in the bin. Worst Chinese ever. Never go again, better to travel abit more into town.

Not happy with the food which i ordered, the chow mein contained more onion than noodles and gave me a stomach ache. Dont recommend

I phoned them up to complain about my order for the lady at the phone to respond with “reallyyy?” instead of taking it seriously. The object in my food was really quite dangerous with how sharp and solid it was, not only that - anything abnormal found in food is disgusting to even think about! I really feel like the restaurant should’ve taken this more seriously and had investigated why or how it was in my food in the first place. I won’t be ordering from here ever again or at least unless it gets taken over by someone else.

Brilliant food and great service!

Foods actually good if they get your order correct... First time there and they give a chicken in peanut satay sauce when I ordered vegetables in a peanut satay sauce.... I would suggest checking your orders before you leave there.

A cynical exercise in relieving you of as much money as possible while keeping expenses to a minimum. Food bears no resemblance to anything remotely Chinese. Chicken Chinese style, bland and watery with chicken reheated from precooked chicken (probably c-vale brand) possibly sliced by laser on minimum setting, and a chop suey with no veg and a mysterious yellow sauce from van dykes yellow period. Avoid this place like the plague. Never ever again.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area, takeaway price but restaurant quality food, freshly cooked to order, friendly service and delivery to you door!must try sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken curry and the beef with black peppercorns sauce or black bean sauce! But very busy weekend, you better order early to avoid long waiting.....;........,,,.,,,...........

As a family we have ordered food from here over the years and never been let down delivery is fast and food is hot and tasty

Only been here once but it was very yummy. The dishes where all spot on and had the right about of seasoning and sauce etc. We rang our order through the telephone and by time we got there we only had to wait 10 minutes and the food was all fresh and hot. Staff where OK not much to say there. The place itself looked decently clean

I have tried a few of the Chinese takeaways in Gorleston and I must say that this is the best. Very reasonable prices and the food (especially the Chow Mein) is lovely. I definitely recommend going if you are in the mood for a Chinese

I have been coming here over thirty years the currys are fantastic never thought about making an review before but its never to late staff polite food cooked perfect I have tried other when this shop use to close in Febuary for weeks but no other shops could better this for taste and price thanks all the straff

The food was ok but some of it was wrong and the price was a but high we may go back don't know yet would hope that next time every thing comes what we want

Always order from these guys food is always consistant very tasty wide variety of choice have ordered in the past with fairly big orders an also single orders an they have always been for filled to a high standard staff are friendly an on the odd occassion of telephonin an order the delivery drivers are friendly as well overal a must use

This is strictly for takeaways only. Cheap and Cheerful. We tried a combination of Chicken Fried Rice, Szebo Chicken, Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion and Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce. I have never had a more tasty Chinese takeaway. Excelsior.

Ordered food a few time from here now and was lovely everytime. Ordered food when it arrived the ordered was wrong two things were missing instead was a spicy curry that I do not like. I phoned them back and there was no apology instead he said we'll what can I say! I asked if he would deliver the missing items that I had paid for he said no then tried to put me of saying it's over an hour wait 3 times I said it's fine I'll wait. Then he said we'll you will have to repay for those items. So I never got all my tea that night. The call ended with I can not hear you. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE WHAT A RIP OF. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
