Complete disgust Bought a box of Egg Fried Rice on Saturday complete trash it was salty enough that I almost have to drink 4cups of water Never going to go back Wouldn’t recommend👎👎👎

Usually our favourite place to get a Chinese, but tonight’s meal was very poor with the beef chow mein having no flavour at all, usually our favourite meal there too :(

Just been at 6:30 on a Monday night for a fish and chips and sausage for our dog. Less than a mile drive. Worst meal we've ever had, sausage is cold, fish is tiny and had to wait for it. Chips cold dry and hard! Never again. We very very rarely have a chippy tea and this was so so bad. Agios were clearly warm ups. Absolute waste of money. Binned the lot!!!!

Ordered food said it would be ready. Got to the door at 22:20 and it was shut. On Google says open til 22:30 and on the door it says 11. I'm Jack Dicko and I'm raging

Has been the only place around Sankey for the very best tasting food for years now. It’s super quick service, lovely staff. If I was trying hard to find a fault….very hard, it would be that it is cash only, not the biggest issue, but I always have no cash on me, these days… who does, so it’s a trek around to find a working ATM.

Really quality food always fresh and spot on, it’s pricey but you pay for quality and the portions are always big. Been going for years haven’t found another Chinese chippy that comes close so would rather spend a few quid extra

3 big bags of fresh cooked chips all 30 of the kids loved them

A hair in my rice find it and they just take it out and gave it to me again, I tell them is the same rice place and she start laffing..... I call the police and nearly there they change it and gave me my money back. Discusting place

They are always pleasant and when you order by phone tell you when it will be ready and how much it will be. Very efficient. Tasty food

We often get food from here and it is usually pretty good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and a large menu with plenty of options available of Chinese food and fish and chips.

It's clean and it's a family run chip shop I have been a a few times I had a salt and pepper ribs I wasn't impressed not much meat wasn't worth the value that's my opinion

No, that's me done with here. After a few average meals, nothing to write home about. They're far too busy on a Saturday, but keep taking orders and the quality suffers as a result. Mains very watery, chips overdone and just deep fried ribs so you can't comment on any meat.

One of the most consistent Chinese takeaways in town! Make quite a few large orders for the night shift at work and every time it is correct with no issues, food is hot and delicious and always ready in usually 15/20 minutes. Also one of the only few places that sells tofu in town! The salt and pepper chips are mega, Would recommend every time.

I used to really rate this place, but the chicken balls tonight where horrible. The dough was tough and chewy, usually it's thin and crispy. Also the rice was undercooked and was heavily flavoured with sesame oil. I won't be back for a bit. Sorry to all those that I recommended this place to. My bad.

The staff are unbelievably rude , laughed at me when I gave the wrong change even thought I asked them twice and they said that was right , chips are dry and cold I’ve not happy would not recommend

Massively overpriced and the food is nowhere near worth the money. Yuans is now shut so the dragon inn is the place to go… only when the chips are cooked fresh though.. they tend to leave them out a bit too long- otherwise great chippy and great Chinese food :)

Ordered from here when our chippy was closed for holiday. Never again. The crispy chilli 'beef' were just empty shells of batter with no trace of meat at all. I'm not exaggerating, it was shocking. Vegetable spring rolls the same, next to no filling. The chicken foo yung wasn't bad to be fair, but there was so little, it only filled about half of the tub it was served in. Even the egg fried rice was so bland, and actually finding a bit of egg was a challenge. It seems this chippy have decided to sell the cheapest possible product for the most amount of profit. Try the Jade Garden instead, trust me on that.

Excellent food really fast service. Only accepting cash at the moment though which can be tricky at the moment as another of people are living on their credit cards.

I don't use the chippy anymore. Horrible staff and the owner is so nasty and self centred, she never employs local people and only interested in profit!!! Not part of the community so don't use people.The jade garden by the station MUCH better. Check it out

Order a portion of chips they write it down and stick it in the queue, you stand there for 20 mins while they serve up a load of banquets, well, one of them serves, the other one stands about doing naff all. it probably takes longer to write it down that to serve it. If you want to wait 20 mins for a portion of dry reheated chips go here. Oh and the special fried rice is bobbins

VERY expensive chippy. Hence why i never go even though im local, but tonight just for convenience i did (very disappointed) no pots either so all sauces, peas etc are just poured onto your food. If you were feeding the family from here be advised is expensive compared to other local chippys..

Very tasty Chinese food, best one so far we've had locally. very good service and food gets given to you quickly. One small downside is it's quite expensive compared to the chinese takeaways where we used to live in Urmston, but the food is so much better than what we've had in Great Sankey from other chinese chippy's.

The food is absolutely disgusting. I have woke up with food poisoning. After explaining my issue to the manager and having the phone put down on me 4 times and being called I liar I am absolutely appalled.

Not been to golden city for a long time cause it's expensive . Went tonight ordered duck in satay sauce . It was awful there was no duck just fat . It cost 10 pound and that money was for duck fat

They need to serve Cod as it states instead of Coley, heaps of Chips but Dry, Expensive

We tried this chippy a few months back and didnt like anything but the hot & sour soup, so we thought we would give it another try, and were again sorely disappointed! - We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Crispy Chilli Beef (less spicy), Salt & Pepper Chicken, Egg Fried Rice & Prawn toast, we ended up with Extremely Greasy prawn toast, Crispy chilli chicken! (even though we ordered beef) spicy too! and chewy dry salt & pepper chicken, I took it back and they did give us a partial refund of £8 which didnt cover all of the problem items, and was told I have one choice of refund, terrible service, terrible food, definetely will not be going there again!!

Yo you get a massive portion of chips. Too huge in fact! I normally ask for a small portion even if it isn't listed on the menu. The chinese meals are obviously mass-produced stuff. They're nothing special. If you want great chinese food try the one in Bold Heal (about 1 mile away) it's freshly cooked and amazing! (no I don't work for them)
