Golden Cafe in Greenwich

As tourists, we definitely stood out trying the classic English breakfast. The staff were so kind and the portions were massive! We enjoyed the full English and it was delicious! I did not have any leftovers, but some of my companions did love most of the portions, maybe except the black pudding, but that is more with the black pudding than the restaurant though! We definitely felt the sense of community in the restaurant where construction workers just have their daily bread and coffee so it was interesting to take a sneak peek of a local's daily life.

Had a takeaway breakfast roll, food was hot, tasty and fresh. Friendly staff great choice on the menu and reasonably priced. A little gem of a cafe.

Great warm welcoming staff. We had a full breakfast great value for money. Magic breakfast just like home. Greatest hot coffee.

Didn't look to great from the outside but you get a great breakfast. Had a full English and it was great, even the black pudding was good (Burry black pudding rules). The coffee was also very good. Very tasty start to the day.

Just a perfect breakfast and we ate four times. Every plate was lovely, especially the fresh mushrooms with fresh thyme! Hubby really enjoyed the black pudding and bubble and squeak. Made for a memorable trip to london
