Delicious food, probably the best piri chicken I've had, was piping hot and delivery driver was jolly and polite.

The food was stone cold and hard, couldn’t eat the chips or onion rings because of it. The wraps had to be microwaved. I usually love this place but really disappointed.

Chicken in both wraps was dry, both wraps cold and spice “hot” was medium at best and thats being generous!

The driver just ruined my birthday evening. She was extremely disrespectful and rude, even swearing at me. She made me feel unsafe. Gloucester Grill, you are better than this." I lost my appetite actually. 😒

Had a text apology that food was late then arrived cold with missing items

We asked for lemon and herb wraps and received hot ones which was very disappointing as not all of us could eat it

I asked for well done cook but they gave me was totally burnt wings.80% was black so what I gonna eat then? I spent more than 20£ and they didnt give even 1 dip. Waste of money!!

Delicious as always! Even bette than Nando’s! It’s saucy juice chicken, with a kick, the wedges are thick and fluffy and the pitta was delicious!

Chips is hard and not hot anymore

Driver delivered to wrong house and not revived food

my food was supposed to be delivered between 2125hrs and 2145hrs. The food only came at 2240hrs and i could not even get through to the restaurant as either number was continously engaged. i had to turn the food away as my partner who we had ordered for, had left the house already for work.

waited 2 hours and ended up having to go to the restaurant because i kept getting messed around with times. wasn’t offered any money back because i got 1 small tub of ice cream for an order for 5 people. i’d rather not have had that and had a partial refund

My order never arrived, won’t be ordering again

After 2 hours of waiting from order placed time, I had to drive down to the restaurant to find my order had not even been made! I then had to wait a further 20 minutes for it to be prepared and handed to me. Food was average at best

2 hours later and food still hasn’t arrived, no contact and when you try to ring you just get the busy tone.

It hasn’t turned up it’s a joke

My partner had to collect the order as we could not get through in the phone to see how long it was going to be. When he got there they hadn’t even looked at the order. I paid for delivery yet we had to collect it.

Food was over an hour late. Called to ask where it was after the app said it had been delivered, and was told that my order hadn’t left yet but will be another 20 minutes as they need to cook it? 30 minutes later and it still hadn’t arrived. This time upon calling I was told it will be only be a few minutes more. When my order did eventually arrive the food was cold.

Very angry food didn’t show up what so ever, ordered it at 19:40 it’s now 21:40 and still no sign of it, I want my money back

Food was fresh tasty and good price

Ordered from here many times, usually good. Today’s was not, All food was cold, wraps were wet and fell apart & added cheese was still the processed square slice from the packet not even melted!!! strips cold and even sauce was cold. For delivery time quick it must of been cold to start with. Didn’t finish it and threw most away. Won’t order from here again very disappointed.

I went here today ordered two double cheeseburgers, bit into a burger and there was wire in it. I took it back to the shop and all they said was sorry. Didn't even offer a refund. The wire pierced my mouth and it is now throbbing.

I still haven't had my food arrive and it says it was delivered 10 minutes ago?? They won't have the 4 digit code as it hasn't been delivered. Delivery was supposed to be 45 minutes and it's been well over an hour and no food.

Items missing from order . No pots of peri mayo for chips. Delivery driver couldn’t be bothered to walk to property rang me and had to walk out to the street to meet him . All round poor

Honest review: Long time favourite restaurant from the early days of the OG GG, first order in a long time. Just as I remembered, super spicy and that unique peri taste, good quality crispy chips, the mayo is a differentiator of all proportions and just the right amount of salad + decent drink options, 9/10

Great service good food no complaints

The estimated time frame was obviously absolute rubbish! I called when the time had passed and the food was still at the restaurant! Why not update the time if busy?! So frustrating and will never order from here again as this is the second time !

Ordered from here tonight as it’s our usual go to place. Recieved a notification to say our order was on its way. Waited 35 minutes (only a 10 minute journey) rang and was told “driver will be there shortly”. Realised we had actually been waiting for almost an hour so rang again to be told that they weren’t happy with us calling again as we only called 5 minutes ago, we said it had been almost an hour and the response was “well busy ennit”. Never spoken to people so rude! Understand that it gets busy sometimes but if you have told me that my order is on its way then I don’t expect it to take almost triple the time to be delivered to me.

Chicken was nice. Chips tasted a little stale but still delivered nice and warm. They forgot my dips but was a nice and filling meal.

Chips and drink were missing from the meal. Had to go back after getting home & realising my order was in complete. They chips are usually nicely cooked but a little brown today. I have order from them multiple times by telephone &never had a problem

I will never order from Podsmead again. It took an hour and a half when it’s a ten minute drive away.

Absolutely spectacular!! Best peris in Gloucester. Placed order at 20 past 8, it was on its way at 8:30. All food was boiling hot and cooked well, correct spice on my peri wrap. Was given salt, napkins and dips. Driver friendly and polite. Very happy customer will 100% order again!!!

Food is late and im fed up of doin this as i never get a reply ...

The food didn’t arrive until 1 hour and a half later than the estimated arrival time. I couldn’t even contact the restaurant after multiple attempts. Once the order arrived, one drink was missing from the order. I also tried to get money back for the long wait but the restaurant refused. I’m very unhappy as usually the restaurant is great.

i paid for cheese on the chips that i never got. my peri peri chicken wings were spicy! i asked for a lemon and herbs. and they were burned too. worst i ever had. time and quality the worst

Never had issues with food here and always enjoy it! My favourite takeaway but tonight the chips and wrap was cold, wrap wasn’t folded correctly and ended up falling apart! Also I ordered 4 dips and only got 2.

Meal was 25 mins late but the weather was atrocious so I was fine with the delay, food arrived just about hot enough for me to be happy with it. Burgers were delicious, I would have preferred if they were thicker as being quite thin they were on the dry side, fries & onion rings were lovely, excellent value overall.

All in all not bad. Tasty and on time, don’t know about value for money though.
