I went here today ordered two double cheeseburgers, bit into a burger and there was wire in it. I took it back to the shop and all they said was sorry. Didn't even offer a refund. The wire pierced my mouth and it is now throbbing.

I still haven't had my food arrive and it says it was delivered 10 minutes ago?? They won't have the 4 digit code as it hasn't been delivered. Delivery was supposed to be 45 minutes and it's been well over an hour and no food.

Items missing from order . No pots of peri mayo for chips. Delivery driver couldn’t be bothered to walk to property rang me and had to walk out to the street to meet him . All round poor

Honest review: Long time favourite restaurant from the early days of the OG GG, first order in a long time. Just as I remembered, super spicy and that unique peri taste, good quality crispy chips, the mayo is a differentiator of all proportions and just the right amount of salad + decent drink options, 9/10

Great service good food no complaints

The estimated time frame was obviously absolute rubbish! I called when the time had passed and the food was still at the restaurant! Why not update the time if busy?! So frustrating and will never order from here again as this is the second time !

Ordered from here tonight as it’s our usual go to place. Recieved a notification to say our order was on its way. Waited 35 minutes (only a 10 minute journey) rang and was told “driver will be there shortly”. Realised we had actually been waiting for almost an hour so rang again to be told that they weren’t happy with us calling again as we only called 5 minutes ago, we said it had been almost an hour and the response was “well busy ennit”. Never spoken to people so rude! Understand that it gets busy sometimes but if you have told me that my order is on its way then I don’t expect it to take almost triple the time to be delivered to me.

Delivery was hour late food was not nice chicken was full of bones and I don’t complain we always use you but last nights food was very disappointing

The drive got lost and chips were missing from both meals.

Chicken was nice. Chips tasted a little stale but still delivered nice and warm. They forgot my dips but was a nice and filling meal.

Chips and drink were missing from the meal. Had to go back after getting home & realising my order was in complete. They chips are usually nicely cooked but a little brown today. I have order from them multiple times by telephone &never had a problem

I will never order from Podsmead again. It took an hour and a half when it’s a ten minute drive away.

Absolutely spectacular!! Best peris in Gloucester. Placed order at 20 past 8, it was on its way at 8:30. All food was boiling hot and cooked well, correct spice on my peri wrap. Was given salt, napkins and dips. Driver friendly and polite. Very happy customer will 100% order again!!!

Still not received it yet it’s saying it’s been delivered

The food didn’t arrive until 1 hour and a half later than the estimated arrival time. I couldn’t even contact the restaurant after multiple attempts. Once the order arrived, one drink was missing from the order. I also tried to get money back for the long wait but the restaurant refused. I’m very unhappy as usually the restaurant is great.

i paid for cheese on the chips that i never got. my peri peri chicken wings were spicy! i asked for a lemon and herbs. and they were burned too. worst i ever had. time and quality the worst

Never had issues with food here and always enjoy it! My favourite takeaway but tonight the chips and wrap was cold, wrap wasn’t folded correctly and ended up falling apart! Also I ordered 4 dips and only got 2.

Meal was 25 mins late but the weather was atrocious so I was fine with the delay, food arrived just about hot enough for me to be happy with it. Burgers were delicious, I would have preferred if they were thicker as being quite thin they were on the dry side, fries & onion rings were lovely, excellent value overall.

All in all not bad. Tasty and on time, don’t know about value for money though.

The food was returned to the shop without being delivered. I then received a phone call where the man was apologetic. When the driver eventually found us over an hour after the original order was due to arrive, he did not apologise.

Arrived very quick on time. Food was hot and good quality. Ordered 2 chicken steak burgers meals. Good portions sizes and more and enough chips. All round very happy and would recommend

Always fresh, hot and delicious, our absolute favourite takeaway, massive variety of different foods so the whole family can order. Never been late and always has the correct food, never had to chase a missing burger or drink unlike others

The burger had a little unadvertised heat/spice which ruined it for my wife. She had to throw it away!!

Far far too spicy. Wanted Lemon and Herb and it was so spicy. Sadly won’t order from here again as I can’t chance of the spice was a once off of usual. But, 1000x hotter than Nando’s.

Awful food. Had to bin it. Mild was like flaming hot Nando’s. Too hot to even taste. Even after scrapping it out. So disappointed do not use unless you can tolerate extreme heat. My partner likes spice and chillis but even he threw it away. Not even worth 1*

I have absolutely no idea why this place offers any choice in the marinades when they never seem to take any notice. I ordered wings in mild and they were so hot, it made it un-eatable for the majority of our family. It’s just so disappointing as I really enjoy a lot of the food here but the fact they don’t alter the level of spice/hotness to what has been ordered is just not good enough. I had items missing from the order also this time, massive shame!!

Ordered the peri chicken platter and the chicken was the best I've tasted! Very impressed - juicy with great flavour. 10/10!

Food was really nice the first time but the last 2 times burgers\buns were burnt and chips under cooked.

Missed an item (wrap) off and then refused to come back to deliver it even though I phoned with 2 minutes if driver leaving. Very disappointed 12 year old. Food that did arrive was OK but better options elsewhere.

Hi I had a order today of 2 x chicken burger meals single .. half chicken meal double wrap meal . 2 rice 2 coldslaw and it came to £37.92 I don’t think that’s right
