Glencairn in Glasgow City

Had my Ruby Anniversary at venue on 21.10.23, room was dressed for us perfectly in Red and White. We took a package from the venue and it was well worth it, this included Food and DJ. The buffet was great Staff worked really hard behind the bar, the DJ (Ronnie) was great played all the music we asked for we cannot not fault him, thanks to him. Thanks to all the staff for making our Anniversary night great, all our guest had a brilliant night. Would definitely recommend the Glencairn to anyone.

Staff where unhelpful rude to member of family seems to be a certain football club only place.. Would not recommend here whatsoever if you where blue

Fuimos aquí para la cena de Navidad. Llegamos a las 4 p.m., nunca comenzamos hasta las 5:30 p.m. (lo cual estaba bien), la cena asada era algo que esperarías si estuvieras en la cárcel. 3 pequeñas patatas asadas, verduras congeladas, una sí, una col de Bruselas y carne precocida en rodajas. Si estuviera trabajando allí, me habría avergonzado poner eso en frente de alguien. Postre (tarta de queso) estaba bien. El lugar estaba abarrotado, demasiado reservado y el DJ era terrible. También los inodoros tenían cocaína en el dispensador del rollo de papel higiénico y en el piso. Lo único positivo fue los 2 chicos detrás del bar, chicos amables y agradables.

Decidimos hoy ir a este lugar para ver la final de la copa escocesa como lo habíamos hecho antes y fue genial en la gran sala con una pantalla grande. En esta ocasión fue diferente. Llegamos y un mayordomo nos dijo que era 5 - 50 para sentarse en la habitación grande o sentarse en el pequeño salón que estaba sucio sin cargo. t El costo de la gran sala era para entretenimiento en vivo, que era en esa noche en particular, pero llegamos a las 2:00 pm, así que solo nos quedábamos hasta las 5 p. m. cuando terminó el juego. De todos modos, nos sentamos en el pequeño salón que estaba sucio. aseos, fui al bar en el que había alrededor de 5 empleados del bar y un mayordomo. Fuimos ignorados por completo durante unos diez minutos hasta que dije algo al personal del bar. la gran sala estaba ocupada, pero no estaba llena, ya que el mayordomo dejaba entrar a los clientes habituales sin pagar, ya que estaba bebiendo su cerveza gratis, y esa no era la primera, de todos modos me acercaron a la mitad del partido y tuvimos que pedir comida para el orem

What's not to like all main courses are £5, all the usual pub grub specials you could ask for, fish n chips, burgers etc, exactly work day lunch, pleasantly surprised! Will be back

What can I say? A brilliant night and day. We took the whole venue, at a reasonable price, I can advise you. The staff were helpful, friedly and kind, which gave my missus "peace of mind" The wee ones had a ball, as they could safely move about the hall. Our guests said the resident DJ was just great, the Buffett was tremendous as everyone filled and then emptied their plate. My wife was delighted and is already up to her tricks, I've to book the venue again and save up for our 50th Anniversary in 2026

it was a lot better than I expected I don't normally eat in public houses the staff are very friendly good menu great prices what more could you ask for

Love this place food is beautiful and always hot, great choices and lots to choose from. Staff are lovely and the service is fast. Would really recommend :)

Family friendly for large pub meals and homely atmosphere. Very popular with locals-good price. Staff pleasant and small bar sells good choice of drinks. If you are looking for hearty portions or eating out with a group of friends and family it fills the requirements nicely. Popular for family get togethers on a small scale or meeting a group of friends. Customers young and old.

The food at this restaurant is very good, the portions are large and well presented. It's a small and friendly restaurant but can hard to get a table if you don't book.

Excellent value for money, worth a visit. Staff friendly and real pub atmosphere. Plenty of parking around

our family spent Christmas day 2012 at the glencairn social club in rutherglen .After weeks and weeks of requesting a menu( so we could have a look before we went) it never appeared so we had to make do with was on offer the day .It was a nice meal when it did get served to us and the staff were all very friendly and helpful despite having to work on Christmas day .The venue itself is very nice and the entertainment was very good and with santa appearing for the kids it made for a pleasant afternoon and evening .
