Dined at Glasshouse for the first time on Wednesday evening with my husband and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was excellent—special thanks to Nisa, who was approachable, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The food was amazing—thank you, Chef Claudio! We appreciated how he personally checked in and welcomed feedback, making sure everything was to our liking. Truly a memorable night. We’ll definitely be back!

Glasshouse offers authentic Italian flavors with a warm, inviting ambiance. The homemade pasta and mussles were outstanding, the tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. Excellent service and a great wine selection made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the ambience and the vibe at the restaurant was really nice, very great food. It was relaxed but stylish, and the staff were super friendly and attentive without being over the top. Whether if you’re into seafood or just looking for a great spot to grab a solid quality meal, definitely check this place out. I’ll be back for sure! Same time Next WEEKKK!!!!!

My wife and I came in early eveing as we like things not to be to busy and have a chill vibe and this was perfect. The place is run by a wonderful family, and they all come to say hi. ☺️ The food !!!! Wow the food here is amazing my wife had the chops and I the seafood linguine and I must say it's by far the best linguine I have had, complements to the chef. Whether you dine in or get takeaway the food is always sensational. We eat from here often and have never been disappointed!

Disgraceful service. Rude staff. They do not take allergies seriously. I have a dairy allergy which can be fatal in some peoples cases. I am vegetarian and asked for the vegan option due to my allergy and the waitress and chef even commented that I should just eat things I don’t eat and not worry about it. The waitress even turned around and stated that my main dish had dairy in it and commented that didn’t do me any harm. When I told her that I had asked for the vegan option so it shouldn’t have dairy in it and that I was allergic and told her. she responded that her English is no good. Then tried to make out that it was in fact vegan. Later that evening I had a bad reaction to having diary. I took pictures. On the first occasion of going I tasted cheese in the food despite informing them I had an allergy. When I questioned this the waiter said it didn’t have dairy. When I repeated that I have an allergy he quickly too my bowl away and replaced it. We won’t be eating at this restaurant again. The food is awful and tasteless too.

The staff were very rude. At first we just went to have something to drink, but when the waitress there saw that we were not going to eat anything, she started to scold us. Then we ordered food, it was around 9 pm and we did not know the closing time. They started turning off the lights while we were inside. This is such a shame. I do not recommend you to ever go and give money to such rude people.

We have been to the glasshouse on quite a few occasions, they never disappoint, the food staff and atmosphere is perfect. I would highly recommend. This is the best restaurant in Bexleyheath.

New management.. avoid, mussels were not cooked enough, dauphinois potatoes and the tiramisu were not good at all!! It tasted like the cream was off. I asked the waitress to try it as my partner thought it also tastes horrible! The waitress then asked if I was pregnant, because my taste buds might have changed… This was my favourite restaurant. But not anymore! 0 ⭐️ awful experience!!

Went here on Christmas Day and it was amazing we had a party of 7 and the experience was wonderful from service to food to atmosphere everything was on point considering it was Christmas Day we didn’t feel rushed and the staff made us feel so welcomed. Lots of laughs, drinks , food and dancing that made the day so spectacular 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend

The lovely team at Glasshouse welcomed us yesterday for my 50th birthday celebrations. It was the perfect venue, with such a lovely atmosphere. We went for a set menu which was very reasonably priced and the food was high quality and delicious! Thank you to the whole team at Glasshouse who took such good care of us on Saturday.

Good food, everything going up these days so nothing cheap but it was good for the money. Service was brilliant, both servers attentive and friendly and not overbearing. It's a bit bright in there! Maybe mood lighting would help but nice date night without the kids!

We went there because we were hungry and that was the only Italian restaurant in the town. Atmosphere was ok, place looked clean. As soon as we sat down, we were given menu & immediately asked for our order didn’t give us chance to look. It was only 1 person working during the time went. She was polite when we asked her to give us some time. The place looked like glasshouse. Food was not that great. I ordered tiramisu also, wasn’t the best. It was dry. We had pizza veg & non veg

Manager was very friendly and welcoming. Great service. Helped with the birthday cake and balloons. Very nice restaurant. Great for special occasions. Food very tasty. Was very understanding will the bill as it was a large booking. Definitely coming back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Booked for Sunday lunch to celebrate a friend's 60th. Only five of us. Biggest let down, roast was basically a plate of gravy and very little else. For dessert, two had pistachio ice cream which was completely full of ice and one very poor crème brulee. When we complained that the crème brulee was not up to par, we were told the chef was Italian and that's how it should be served. One of our party is French and put them straight. Wouldn't bother going again.

Visited Glasshouse, nice little place, staff were warm and friendly. On arrival to the time we left, the restaurant was quiet so we had a pick of table. It was clean and welcoming. The food was ok, I’ve eaten at a few Italian restaurants and enjoyed majority of them. I ordered BBQ chicken wings, tasted as if the wings were boiled and then brushed with BBQ sauce from a bottle, there was nothing else to it. The Butterfly King Prawns however were very good, wasn’t overcooked and the sauce served with it was really good and loads of flavours. The pizzas were ok, nothing special to them, there were no wow factor, nothing that stood out to make me say yes I want to go back there again and order the same thing. But the Tiramisu was absolutely amazing, I’ve had a few in the past, some bad ones, some horrible ones and some really good ones, this was up there with the good ones. If you are visiting this establishment, you have to try the tiramisu.

We booked for a family celebration (24 people) for our 90 year old mum. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was served promptly, the food was hot and very tasty! It was a very enjoyable long lunch and a perfect occasion for us all . I would definitely eat here again.

Me and my daughter really enjoyed our sunday 3 course set menu. Great value less than £20 for 3 courses. Nice service and help warming babies bottle. Sat out in the glass house area which is nice. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere only because it was very quiet which is a shame because its a really nice restaurant. Been before and will go again.

The glasshouse catered hand a foot to our very large wedding party right from the start when we booked to the very end with the most amazing food and service.

Are you kidding me? A real Italian taste in the heart of Bexleyheath? You should try their special Seafood Linguine!!! Amazing! 🤩 and also the taliatelle gamberoni and the Gamberi in tempura!!! Seriously this little and cozy restaurant beats any other in London. ♥️♥️♥️

This is truly a hidden gem of Bexleyheath. I've tried to order something different everytime I've been and can honestly say every meal is exceptional. The service is genuinely faultless - what lovely lovely people. Whether it be an intimate setting or a large gathering, the place will go above and beyond. I recommend this special gem whole heartedly and definitely encourage supporting local business.

Really nice little place where me and my grandmother went for dinner, having three courses. Food was great and staff were pleasant. More people ought to go especially on a Friday night, far too empty for the quality.

Did not reach expectations. We had room dishes involving squid which was tough a d inedible. The main course of lamb chops was tough. Also too expensive. We were very disappointed. Staff were lovely.

Never again what a let down fillet wasn’t fillet more like rump we only ever have fillet so we know what we’re looking at. Wine was just pored out without the option of trying it first well it was awful no date on the bottle which questions it’s authenticity in my book the mixed seafood tempura wasn’t great the prawn tempura still had the complete shell on and the presentation was none existent Very disappointing Dan

I have been there several times and last night together with a group of friends we really enjoyed the evening. The staff is really kind and attentive the food well cocked and the plate seemed an architectural design . It was the first time for some of my friends yesterday night and they enjoyed and will come beck for special occasions… the restaurant is elegant , excellent staff and food beautiful music in the background … full of charme … io sono italiana e tutto ciò mi ha fatto rivivere l’emozione di essere in uno dei miei locali preferiti a Milano … grazie Glasshouse !

We went here with our 7 month old son on Valentine’s Day for an early dinner as we could not get any childcare. It was amazing! The owner accommodated us the best he could ensuring we had a table in a warm area for baby. Having the high chair prepared in advance. Even started food service early for us, which we really appreciated as trying to get out with a baby is hard. The waiter was lovely. Food was incredible. Cocktails were great. The restaurant was decorated so well for valentines. Last time we visited here was Father’s Day when the food was also incredible. Absolutely love this place. Really make occasions feel special. Thank you for a great evening!

What a great restaurant! The service was very friendly and accommodating of our different demands and indecision. The food was delicious. We had a range of food (steak, lamb, pasta) and the children's spaghetti bolognese was particularly tasty! It was clear and a great deal of care and attention was taken to prepare each dish. The wine choices were particularly good. Authentic Italian wines which you would (sadly) never find in a supermarket. A memorable evening- thank you for making it so special.

Very clean, food is exceptional, service very good, a little chilly inside even with the heating on, music a little annoying but all in all a nice place. Really enjoyed it

I cannot express enough the great experience I had with this restaurant. My husband was spending Xmas with my father in law as he is ill and we live in N,Ireland. I rang a number of restraraunts, farm shops to order some dinner for them on Xmas day but no-one in the bexleyheath area would help. As soon as I contacted the Glasshouse they couldn't of been more understanding and helpful. I ordered 2 roast lamb shank dinners and Tempura prawns to start. When my husband collected the meals the staff where wonderful even offered my husband a complimentary drink. The starters and meals where roasting hot and full to the brim. My husband and Father in Law enjoyed the food immensely. Because of the Glasshouse it made their Xmas very special together. I would like to express my gratitude to all at the Glasshouse. Thankyou so much Cheryl young.

Wow I must say came for Christmas dinner today there was 20of us and I can only give you praise fantastic service and the price was great. I will be coming more often to support a local business 👩‍💼. Well done go rest xx

Went here last night with a group of friends, just 7 of us so not lots.. pre booked paid the deposit and gave the food choices from the festive menu well in advance. Arrived at the restaurant, table was not ready for us, the waitress looked surprise to see us!! And then when she asked for our food choices we told her we had pre ordered as per their request, she went away then asked me to go round to the counter where I was told our booking had been mixed with another booking for a different date.. so had no food that we had chosen… they said order from the main menu but pay the set price… which we did. The food was not nice at all, the customer service was not good, and we were the only ones in there. They even forgot to take the deposit off the bill at the end I had to remind them and added a service charge to the bill which I had removed. All in all was a rubbish night due to the venue and the hostile customer service. I would not recommend at all to anyone.

I was one of the 7 as per the below review and I must say, the lies in your response to my friend is just adding insult to injury!! Whilst we all said we were ok/happy to order from the a-la-carte menu, mainly because we had no other choice - not one of us ‘consistently’ expressed our gratitude towards you nor was it repeatedly stated how happy were with the food or service! I would say maybe you’re getting us confused/mixed up with another table but considering the restaurant was empty I doubt that’s so! It also wasn’t hard to ‘assign’ a waitress to us as there were no other tables to wait on in the restaurant - and even though that was the case, we were still left waiting 15-20mins for drinks! No one expressed their gratitude on their way out and we certainly didn’t apologise on behalf of our friend, who wasn’t hostile and absolutely had the right to air her concerns and disappointment. I’m baffled how you can even say this was how the night ended when neither you nor your dad/manager had the decency to see us out or apologise - you hid at the back of the restaurant!! Instead you made the poor young lady waitress see us out, to whom I did say thank you and sorry to as it was not her fault & so awkward for her, she should not have been put in that position! Your attitude towards us as customers & the situation, which you created by supposedly messing up the booking, was/is quite frankly shocking. I wouldn’t come back & I wouldn’t recommend - I would advise not to lie about customers experiences though when they have so clearly had a bad one, but then I think an empty restaurant so close to Xmas says it all!!

Had a brilliant time at The Glasshouse last night with eight friends. The food was excellent - portions were a good size and very tasty - and the cocktails were amazing. The staff were attentive and so welcoming and the restaurant itself was beautiful with a warm ambience. 10/10 - would highly recommended and will be definitely be back!

I attended with nine others and the service was great our food arrived not long after ordering and was amazing they insured we had a constant flow of drinks. The manager is very friendly, he makes you feel welcome the second you step in the door, the staff are not shy to have a chat. I would recommend and I will be going back.

For locals who know the Glasshouse but don’t know it’s been under new management for a year or so, it’s time to come back. The team are highly experienced and the service we had tonight was excellent. Love having quality Italian restaurants in the ‘Heath.

Came here for the first time today with my family and had the best time! Definitely a family friendly restaurant. The staff are so attentive and eager to satisfy. From starter to dessert, everything was simply perfect. The seafood linguini was 10/10, will definitely order again. My husband ordered the fillet steak which he devoured. Overall, lovely restaurant and will be returning!

Really enjoyed having dinnerat Glasshouse tonight. Four of us enjoyed the authentic italian dishes with nice selection of wine. The staff really friendly and served us really quick. The ambiance really inviting with its contemporaneous modern style of refurbishment and ery very clean. I would highly recommend. Glad that it's in our area.

Shocking. Filet steak was not filet steak. Plates were cold and the food came out at different times despite the restaurant being quiet. Even the soap in the toilet was watered down. Steer clear!

Yesterday my family and I booked a table for 8pm we could not fault the food it was delicious, affordable and nicely presented. The service and atmosphere was exceptional we will definitely return and would highly recommend people to visit.

I had not been to this restaurant for over a year,it used to be very nice food and service,somewhere you wanted to go back to always good…tonight I visited with my daughter and it literally was like a different restaurant, place was empty which I should of took as a warning because the food I received was such a disappointment, 3 small and I mean tiny “king prawns”as a starter ..£14 and seafood linguine for mains had 4 dried out mussels and a load of rubbery obviously cooked from frozen calamari but nothing else…no prawns,clams or anything…give this place a swerve… I would not of put my comments on here if the “ manageress I spoke with took them seriously.

I booked the upstairs room for a birthday meal for 22 people. The staff couldnt have been more accomodating and the food was fab and all served at the same time. Thank you so much to Lut and all the team who made it a very special birthday lunch!

We love this little restaurant. The moment we arrived we was greeted warmly. We had pre booked, but was left to choose our own table. The food was fantastic. Be prepared for generous portions 👍🏻. We will continue to use the Glashouse as it is a lovely place.
