Pizza Express in Bexley

I went for a meal with my family the food was lovely. Michael was our waiter and he gave great service.

The staff is really good. And one of them is honey...

Half the order didn’t turn up and they wouldn’t deliver the missing items. Poor customer service

I ordered dough balls and a Large Reine and Double American cheese pizzas. I received the Reine correctly but a Large pepperoni unplaced or the double American cheese.

Yes the pizza was cold. No big deal what have you got an oven for ! 5 mins in a hot oven perfect pizza. Thank you pizza express 👍👍👍👍👍

Amazing atmosphere, the vegan pizza was amazing the vegan cheese melted perfectly and the spicy wings were also very good. Myles provided amazing customer service and was very attentive.

The service in this restaurant is amazing. Me and my family came here yesterday at 6pm and it was really busy. However, we quickly got attended to by a young gentleman who introduced himself as Myles. His excellent attitude and kindness allowed to enjoy our evening with no stress. I suggest whiever comes to this restaurant should always ask for Myles as he is very attentive to detail and he ensured that everything was as we wanted.

Ordered for my mum who was waiting an hour over expected delivery

food arrived cold. poorly cut. ordered at 6pm, luckily arrived at 7.35pm. atleast the driver got it here within 10 mins from the restaurant. sad, having to leave this for Pizza Express. what happened to quality?

Nice food and service was quick for a Sunday afternoon.

It was ok not as good as it used to be a bit too normal now just like an everyday pizza place lost its originality ok food but not amazing. Would go again.

Burnt and hard. Could hardly eat it. Left pieces and had to chuck in the bin as my jaw was hurting trying to even chew a piece. Poor.

So we've come down from Yorkshire on vacation having lived in Bexleyheath previously. My elder brother ,son and myself visited your branch on 24th Aug (sat) We hadn't booked a reservation but on request was welcomed to the restaurant. Our server was Anita and she promptly showed us to our table and within minutes was there to ask us about our order. With experience and knowledge she guided us through the menu and suggested some items. After settling on a starter for each and a main we were then treated to exceptional service and courtesy throughout..looking after us and making sure we were good. The food was excellent and after three tasty starters we were ready for the main 3 huge pizzas laden with toppings and promptly served . Extra drinks were offered and the service was amazing throughout. After an amazing meal we then ordered 3 desserts which were exceptional..I would highly recommend this restaurant and compliment Anita for her fantastic service..The final bill came to over 100 pounds but was worth every penny. We also tipped Anita for her amazing service for which she was so grateful..an amazing meal..great staff. Definitely eat here again. Anita is an absolute credit to you. Thank you all so much for a fantastic meal.x

I didn’t receive my order and it was marked delivered on the system!

Not even luke warm when it arrived, I actually laughed when I opened the box. Sparse toppings on the pizza isn’t the word, no evidence of sauce for the bbq base and the chicken was drier than a nuns nasty. Make sure you have water to hand so you can swallow your food if you choose to eat it. Mine went straight in the bin.

Thanks to the manager and his team at Pizza Express - Bexleyheath. We had organised a birthday party for 16 kids and it’s done extremely well. All the kids enjoyed the experience and the team managed the 2hr party so well.

Our son celebrated his 7th Birthday by having a Pizza Express Party at Pizza-making party in June. I cannot recommend it enough. The party host was really great with the kids and accommodating. It was truly fun. Thank you Pizza Express Bexleyheath.

Pizza was stone cold! The driver came to the house stood outside by their bike for a few minutes before leaving. They came back another 5 or so minutes later holding the pizza box without a heat retaining bag. The restaurant is not far away at all and should have been quick and easy. The driver clearly wasn’t lost as they have been before and stood outside for 5 minutes before coming back.

Sarah provided me with an excellent service, she always goes out her way in helping and is really kind. The pizza is fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to come back!

Watched the driver deliver 3 orders before mine. This meant that the food was stone cold !!!!! We paid £78 for cold food !!!!! Absolute joke

the bruscetta was much more fluffy/springy and bigger than I've had before with plenty of tomatoes and the pizza dough edge was much more fluffy than it has been and alot of fabulous toppings, best I've had in a while

I ordered with Uber eats 2 pizzas and a dessert. Surprisingly it took them more than hour and a half to prepare the pizzas. The pizza were freezing cold and not good quality. I paid crazy money for nothing. Avoid that place

We love popping in whether it's to share a pizza or having something more substantial. It always tastes good and it hits the spot.

Went to pizza express after much thought, the price of food was very expensive and did not have the experience to match the price. Firstly the waiter/host was not very inviting, had to wait for a long time before being seated. We had made reservation on the app and requested a booth , but we were denied and were asked to sit at the tables, despite booths being empty till we left. Moreover the items are expensive and less in quantity and we left hungry despite ordering for 62£ for a family of 4. Mushroom arancini was literally 4 small balls the size of marbles. The melanzane menu item had literally 6 pieces of aubergine in a bowl of tomato sauce. Pizza and Dessert was fine. Not sure why this place is so crowded despite being mediocre at best.

Really friendly staff, always helpful and quick to get food out to customers. One of the waiters, Myron, has gone above and beyond several times to delight customers - including once showing me to their car park located at the back of the restaurant which I had no idea about. Great to see them continue to innovate on their vegan menu. They are always respectful of allergies (e.g. nut / tree nut) which is highly appreciated! Kid friendly too. Can't recommend enough vs other Pizza Expresses I've visited.

Lovely pizza but I’d suggest you warm it up in the oven, no big deal to me. It’s what ovens are for.

2 pizzas took almost an hour (50 minutes to be precise) not really "express" is it. Waitress forgot to put the order through and denied it, pizza was therefore rushed and not cooked long enough. I think you allowed for too many bookings on Saturday without adequate staff.

I ordered 3pizzas and only 2 arrived. Driver said he would go back to get my pizza that was missing but he didn’t. Never saw him again.

Booked our son's birthday party here, arrived a little early and they were more than happy to see us early, meaning we were perfectly lined up to accept our guests as they started to arrive and didn't have to wait around to get things going; the kids were able to just walk in the door and take their seats. For £15 a head their kids' parties are an absolute bargain, as they get a plate of dough balls each, the chance to make their own pizza and an ice cream at the end! Effectively they get a three course meal for under £20! Staff were more than accomodating as I've touched on above, with the manager advising the adults that if we downloaded the Pizza Express app we could get free doughballs, and water was provided for the adults table, so rather than simply being there to supervise the kids the adults were made to feel a part of things, and while we were advised that we could order food and drinks if we chose to, at no point were we made to feel that we were obliged to do so. The staff were very good with the kids, showing them how the pizza gets prepared and mesmerising them with the dough toss, as well as being incredibly friendly above and beyond the standard you'd expect. The children clearly felt at ease, and so did the adults!

Pizza was nice but let's be honest, Pizza is just a loaf of bread with cheese and tomato. Really expensive for what it is and probably won't go back. Great staff though, they're lifted to a neutral experience

Waiting over an hour for the delivery and then only half of it was delivered, we had to collect the other half ourselves. When we eventually got all of our food it was stone cold, the pizzas were not cut and they were like cardboard.

So for some background, I had a complete nightmare with Tenpin bowling just down the road as after booking and paying for a party, they informed me just a few days before that they couldn’t provide one of our coeliac children with any gluten free food. I needed to find an alternate place that could fit us all in quickly and it was a large crowd. I read online that Pizza Express was coeliac accredited - so thought I’d call and see if it was possible to at least feed the kids. I spoke with Myron over the phone - wow what a kind understanding man! Nothing was too much trouble at all, he got us a booking that could accommodate adults and kids - he made me feel at complete ease regarding the gluten free element too. Upon arrival, Myron had set us up a beautiful area at the back, plenty of space for everyone. Our waitresses Paulina and Nillu were outstanding, happy, bubbly, great with all the kids - so on point with the gluten free element. I’ve never seen a waitress order for so many kids that fast haha, Paulina deserves a medal for that alone! The food all came out with exceptional precision, all at the same time so none of the kids were left waiting - the food was also delicious, every child cleared all 3 courses. The adult food was fabulous, so fresh and tasty! Every member of staff in the whole place has such a friendly warm personality, there is a really good vibe and energy here. A huge thank you to the pizza chef too who was making all of the dough with lots of little eyes watching fascinated at he’s skills! Honestly, I’m so glad the bowling alley couldn’t accommodate us dietary wise as we had such a fabulous time here after the games instead! You aren’t rushed at all, staff are really clued up about dietary needs so you can relax and enjoy. We will 1000% be returning. The price for 3 courses for each child is really good, lots of choices, if you are looking for somewhere that ticks all the boxes food and atmosphere wise - I’d highly recommend this place! When compared to the bowling alley food prices too, this is so much better value for money and a high standard hands down. Clean, pleasant place with outstanding staff, exceptional with kids and a kind caring manager that genuinely cares about all of the customers. Thank you so much for a lovely day!

The place was super busy as we came in and forgot it was Mother's Day. Nevertheless the staff managed to fit us in and we were served by a lovely Nilu who was very attentive and friendly. Food was up to scratch as well and came relatively quickly. All in all it was a great visit!

Ordered through Uber eats on last night as we wanted to try something else than domino’s and was expecting a 45 mins wait for delivery, when we checked after an hour, the order had been cancelled by the restaurant. Ok maybe they were busy so we tried again today and ordered 2 pizzas and 2 kids meal. Pizzas were ok but the kids meals were missing one pizza, 2 drinks and the humus dip turned into garlic butter. So now we have 2 very unhappy kids at home crying and I have to go out in the rain to buy juices and another pizza from somewhere. Thanks pizza express. You just lost a customer. Better order from domino’s they are quicker, cheaper and never made a mistake on the orders.

Food was cold. Wasn't far for driver to go and although my place can be hard to find I left detailed instructions. On the map it seemed like the driver went round in circles before arriving. Its a Shame as I normally enjoy the food from this place.

I came in for a kids pizza party , fabulous service! Will definitely be coming here again!

Absolutely awful! Made an order at 18:11 for one person , this order including delivery came to over £30.00. I had no update on my order it just showed that it was being prepared. Spoke with the delivery service who advised me the driver was waiting at the restaurant for this order at 20:20 ( already had been waiting for over 2 hours at this point). The driver didn’t leave the restaurant until 22:15 OVER FOUR HOURS LATER. I tried called the restaurant numerous times personally and so did the delivery service with (of course) no answer. When the driver arrived he advised me against ordering from there as they have nothing but complaints (doesn’t surprise me) he mentioned numerous orders being wrong and that drivers will avoid it like the plague. With the standard of food that was delivered I’m not surprised they have complaints. After waiting FOUR HOURS my food was freezing cold and missing items. The fact they couldn’t even get my order right after looking at it FOUR hours is beyond me. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN and I will advise anyone reading this to not order from there either unless you like COLD food with MISSING items.

Ordered on Deliveroo, pizza came freezing cold, barely any cheese or ingredients on it, reported via app, was given £3 credit back for £16 Pizza that was awful. Best part of the meal was the dessert, which was tiny compare to what they advertise and came looking like the picture below. Zero care, won’t be ordering again.

No fault of the restaurants but the driver had picked up my food, I live down the road from pizza express but somehow the drive went very far and by the time my food arrived it was cold.
