Pizza Express in Bexley

Looks like food was picked up and then took 30mins to get delivered which should have taken 5 mins! Driver was stationary for ages

The bill came to over £200. We felt cheated! We booked a table for 8 on a Saturday afternoon for an adult birthday lunch. Despite the restaurant being fairly quiet with lots of empty tables at the bright, attractive front we were allocated a table right at the relatively dingy back of the restaurant close to the toilets. We had to wait some time to be greeted and seated. Drinks and starters order was taken fairly quickly. But delivered very slowly. Our pizzas took a very long time to arrive yet they were overcooked if not slightly burnt, with yolks in two fiorentina pizzas ordered rock hard (we weren't asked how we wanted them). To add insult to injury me and another of our party had a "free side dish" offer in our pizza express apps. When I tried to use mine all that was offered was an insulting free side of extra garlic butter valued at *75p* instead of the free side of our choice that we thought had been promised. The other person was unable to use their offer due to poor mobile phone signal. The meal took so long to be delivered that we did not bother ordering more drinks or dessert. I got the impression that the restaurant was short of staff. We were very disappointed overall.

The pizza and doughballs arrived earlier than expected, which was very welcome. Unfortunately, the dough balls were hard and couldn't be eaten except for 2 that were soft. The pizza itself was delicious. The last time I had an issue with the food, I was told I had no photographic evidence and therefore there was nothing thst could be done. I've learnt from my mistake and have taken a photo of the dough balls.

Order never got delivered to my address and I can’t get through to anybody regarding this

Second time ordering as do enjoy the restaurant but as like the first time both pizzas turned up cold and this time the order was over 1 hour late, I think in future we will just dine in at Pizza Express.

I would like to say how helpful the waiter was in Bexleyheath Pizza Express. I understand how busy the restaurant is and am proud to say that most occasions dinning here is brilliant. Honestly though the young waiter tonight need to be promoted I think his name is Timothy. He clearly is working hard and trying as customer service is on point.

Food was hot & scrumptious. Delivery driver found our difficult to find address w/out issue. Very pleasant & polite

Had my daughters birthday party here and the staff were brilliant, the kids seemed to love the food and Monika in particular was brilliant at keeping the kids occupied.

We had a great experience with a pizza party for teenagers. The waiter in charge was nice and attentive. It's a shame they don't start the party by preparing and rolling the dough as they used to. Now it's straight to adding the ingredients. But the pizza was great!

My young children and I were served impeccably by the staff. It was 5pm so very quiet, but our food was delicious and we were well looked after.

The general manager is very unprofessional and clearly not a people’s person the toilets stink and are rotten so is the restaurant would avoid!!!!!!!

Been visiting this pizza express since I was a child let’s just say it’s on a massive decline the general manager (old woman with glasses) is running the place into the ground her attitude towards customers is vile asked for a straw (because all the glass wear was dirty) for her to pick it up from the top and proceed to give it to me on asking for a fresh one she said they had all been touched (unhygienic) considering the toilets are like a stinking slum can guarantee hand washing isn’t being my done instead of bullying customers being a manager I would make sure glass wear is actually clean toilets don’t smell like a slum and your attitude towards customers is completely diffrent I was always told customer is always right . Kicked 5 of us out of a restaurant because I didn’t want to drink out of dirty glass wear is crazy will be contacting head office x

This place was busy tonight but the service was amazing as per ever. Monica was particularly amazing. And we had a great server but didn't manage to get his name. My friend has a food allergy and the staff were very cautious in making sure there was no cross contamination. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing evening celebrating our dad’s 070th birthday. Monica and the whole team were amazing and couldn’t have done more for us, so professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an amazing evening for celebrations. Thank you again!

Last night was very good pizza meal

We ordered pizza from here and that was such a disaster!!!!!!!!! We never recommend the pizzas from this store. We brought Pepperoni pizza, Margherita and a vegetarian pizza.

COLD FOOD - DISAPPOINTED Long wait (2) for the delivery and when the food arrived it was cold none of them ate the food. After spending around 70 you get this type of food.

3 hours 15 minutes late. Cold freezing cold. Service has been dreadful. Wasn’t an option to cancel and restaurant didn’t answer the phone.

I went for a meal with my parents on Friday night & we were served by Zaneta… well what can I say! She is an absolute credit to Pizza Express Bexleyheath and made our meal so special. She was personable, attentive and a credit to the company in general! The food was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening, but mostly due to the service we received from Zaneta! Thank you so much again for making our evening so amazing- we will be back soon!

Our pizzas and doughballs arrived piping hot. It was delicious. I ordered pizza from Pizza express from a different delivery company and it was cold, so thank you Just Eat for our food getting to us piping hot.

Two members of the team helped me sort out my menu from the app to get the 2nd Pizza for a £1.00 offer, and were both courtoeus and friendly from point of ordering and through to the payment of the bill. GF Pizza's were freshly prepared and arrived hot, with a generous amount of topping.

The first time we ordered from here was really good. Unfortunately the last two times specially tonight the food was terrible. The pizza was undercooked and very doughy! The food arrived cold. The salad dressing had leaked into the bag as the lid wasn’t inserted properly. Its sad to say that I could’ve purchased a ready made pizza and cooked it in the oven and it would’ve been better than this and would’ve cost third of the price. Really disappointing.

Time kept getting pushed back and pizza arrived chewy and luke warm, but still tasty.

She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel like valued customers from the moment we arrived.

I usually don't leave reviews, however I was asked to leave one by the manager. Despite the restaurant being busy, we found both the service and food to be excellent. Our dishes were served quickly and the waiters and manager were very friendly and attentive.

You can not beat a pizza express pizza. Yes it may turn up cold. But 8 minutes in your oven. Bingo a hot pizza 100% happy😀

Pizza was lovely and tasty. But the diver gave me somebody else’s pasta main dish .i thick there should be able to phone the diver to tell him to come back and swap over the dish.

Food was alright, flavour was good. Just temperature of food was lukewarm, which ruined the quality of the food. Very very small pot of garlic butter for dough which was a shame too.

Delivery driver decided to go shops when he had our food in his car on the way here! Such bad delivery and food was stone cold! Took 50 minutes to get to us after his shopping trip yet this is normally a 10 minute drive!!

Had to wait 1.5hrs to get the food when the restaurant is 10 minute drive away and the pizza must have been left under the heatlamp for the whole time because it was dry, stale and cold once it arrived. Tried calling the restaurant many times but no-one answered. Embarrassing service.

Extremely disappointed. I got a basil dip when requested another,spent £7 on the chocolate cake to only get a tiny slice?! No cream/mascarpone as apparently they stopped providing this with deliveries. If this is the case, then provide a bigger slice

Calamari according to Pizza Express.. I order home delivery very rarely, and Pizza Express delivered food that was just disgusting. Over £20 spent total on order, pizza was delicious i have to admit BUT calamari was from another planet, especially for the price.
