Don’t ever order from here! Over 1 hour late with food after saying they deliveried it, dodged calls told me 2-3 mins still 20 mins they answered with yes? Wasn’t interested, me and my family was a loyal customer take away and restaurant had to go up to the restaurant to get a refund! Terrible Wouldn’t bother! Me and my family wil never return!

Not impressed. Food really quite bland and uninspiring. Don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon. Was asked to pay in cash, which always makes me suspicious.

The chicken birani was very very delicious and the food was quite hot. The chicken chomchom was very very very very very nice and DELICIOUS!!!!! I like Rahman kitchen more than the other restaurants. The other staffs are behave very friendly.

Been looking for a good curry for a while. Have ordered quite a few times now and the food is fantastic.

We were really impressed with our food. we are fairly new to the area and have been looking for a regular Indian to order from and I think we've found the one! The food tasted really flavourful and wasn't oily at all - it was really lovely! Our delivery also came about 20 minutes earlier than expected, which on a Friday, was a really nice surprise!

Revolting. I was hungry Friday afternoon 13/9/2024 walked to Rahman’s kitchen hoping to have a nice meal. The chicken biryani was tasteless and appears to be from left over chicken. The lamb biryani is slightly better but less than expected. Although the sign of American Express is clearly shown on their door I was asked to go and withdraw cash to pay in cash!!! terrible experience. Will never go there again.

We have ordered from you a few times now. The food is absolutely delicious, but the portion sizes are small for the price.

A little gem of a restaurant and very local for us.The owner and his staff are very friendly but also professional and the food is always of excellent quality. The menu is also very varied with lots of dishes thar don't appear on your average menu ie. sea bass and also lamb shank.Highly recommended.

Perfect food can’t ask for from

Me and my husband went to this restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was very hot, we thought probably because of the weather. We were starving so we wanted to order our food first as we knew it would take time but the waiter was rude enough to tell us that we HAVE to order the drinks first ( he did not take our food order before the drinks ). Now the biggest dissapointment was the food! we got our chicken biryani which had no fried onions no garam masalas no raita or onion on the side..it was nowhere close to biryani but was more like a bland fried rice which was served with a weird vegetable stew. The next dish was butter chicken which had no cream or butter in it...it was completely sweet as if the chef had mistaken sugar for salt..the gravy was not creamy it was just thick and had very strong taste of coconut (unusual for butter chicken gravy!!!). It was inedible for us so we informed the waiter. He said that he would fix it and bring it back. It came back with the same taste...not even a bit difference so I had to tell him again. He said that there was nothing he could do and offered me to change the dish but since we were already unhappy with two dishes and had stayed there for long enough we decided to cancel the dish and told the waiter that we are not going to pay for it. I finished the naan I had ordered dipping in the vegetable curry that came with biryani. Paid and left immediately. Overall the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I've had dining out in my life so far. From the waiter's attitude to the food..nothing could save this evening!!! So I would like to rate this place no star at allll!!! never ever going back!!

This is my new go to for Indian food. always so tasty and the meat so tender. always happy to accommodate my allergies but most importantly is they have their own driver who is so polite and you get the food still very hot.

We ordered a takeway. The driver was very friendly. The food was hot and well packed. Each dish was delicious. One of the best Indian meals we have had for a very long time. Would absolutely recommend Rahmans.

oh my goodness. one of the best I've ever had. no grease in a masala was amazing. only down side is no mint sauce with onion bharjee but I'll remember tk order next time. also don't think I've ever had a delivery man in a suit. Will def be back!

I was kindly informed my order would be late but it was only 5 mins later than the expected time. I didn't see onion salad or mint sauce on the menu so I asked for it on the notes. The actual owner delivered my meal with a free Cobra for being 5 mins late, had given me the onion salad and mint sauce for free and was a really nice man. The food was really tasty and unlike other Indian food I have received, was not greasy at all. what a great first impression. 10/10 for me. Thank you!

Delivered slightly later than estimated but we were kept informed and it was more than worth the wait! First time ordering from here as we just moved to the area and the food was really delicious. Hot, fresh and very full of flavour. Great choice of vegetarian options too. We will definitely be ordering again….the delivery man was also really nice and friendly :)

Overcharged! We visited yesterday (on a Sunday) with six adults and five children (all under six y/o). Overall we really enjoyed our food and found the staff to be very friendly however upon leaving the restaurant, having paid £92 per family, we saw a notice on the door with the Sunday banquet deal of £14.95pp & KIDS UNDER SIX EAT FREE. As we were not advised of this deal by the staff we ended up paying full price for our adult meals, plus £7.95 per child for nuggets & chips! This deal should have been brought to our attention by the staff when we were seated. Because of this we left feeling disappointed and a bit ripped off. Hopefully the staff will make future diners aware of such deals to avoid further disappointment.

The food arrived on time and piping hot. We are vegetarian and although they have lots of vegetarian mains, we love to order lots of vegetable sides and they were all delicious! We requested spicy and it all had the perfect amount of heat! We really enjoyed the food and will definitely be ordering from here again!

Disappointed with the food as the order was fumbled. Delivery was missing the main item of tikka Lamb Karahi instead tikka Lamb biryani was sent. And tried to call the restaurant but it got closed as it was a late night order.

First time we have been to this Indian since the change of owner, and sad to say, very disappointed. They completely messed up what we ordered. They never gave two people the correct dish. One dish that was meant to be lamb, was chicken !!! Another dish contained peppers that were not mentioned on the menu. It transpired, it was not what another person ordered !!!!. On top of that two groups of 2 people, were loud, swearing out loud, very yobbish. Will we go back again, very unlikely, then they ask you to pay cash. Clearly to avoid paying tax and paying staff cash in hand.

Had a home delivery from here for the first time and we all thought the food was absolutely stunning. We ordered quite a few dishes for the 3 of us as we were celebrating a special occasion. All food was lovely and still hot on arrival. Will definitely order again.

possibly late due to rain, no big issue. food was really tasty. the lamb in the curry was super soft, amazing. I especially liked the hint of lime in the chicken tikka. The garlic naan was just garlicky enough and the mushroom rice had just the right amount of mushrooms. 2 very happy, satisfied customers. thankyou

Been looking for a good local curry house for so long and think I have finally found it! Everything was really delicious especially the chicken bhuna (which they did madras heat for me) and the vegetable rice which was packed with a real variety of fresh veg not frozen rubbish you sometimes find! Preferred the restaurant before rebranding. Very expensive for an Indian. Asked to pay by cash to receive 10% off £174.00 for 4 people. Very disappointed.

First time ordering from here and the food was really nice. Best dansak I’ve had, the chicken was so soft and fresh, also loved the onion bhajis. Keema nan could have been better, wasn’t so tasty but all in all a good meal and will order from here again

Great food guys but I must say the butter chicken was cooked well but for butter chicken it was very sweet more like a chicken tikka masala for me. One of the only Indian restaurants in the area I would order from. Thanks gents/ladies

The food is very good, though the normally excellent onion bhajis (the main reason we've ordered from here since before the name change) haven't been as crunchy and crispy recently and are now 3 per order rather than 4, which is disappointing.

First takeaway from here since the rebranding - really good. The Food was delicious - a must try! I tried a couple of dishes ive not seen before and they were great - being Dall Samba (creamy lentils) that was stunning and also Aloo Tukra (Spicy Potato Mash Deep Fried) - really good food - also had lamb, rice, chilli paneer, naan etc Really good will try more dishes next time! Congrats on the reboot :-)

Worst paneer tikka masala ever tasted. It was written spicy on online menu but it was sweet in taste..have not imagine tikka masala to be sweet in taste. Completely waste of money. I had no other option than throw it in bin.

Oh dear what have the new owners done to this once lovely tasting Indian restaurant. I’ve ordered two takeaways since the name/owner change and on both occasions items have been missed off my order resulting in phone calls and waiting another 25 minutes before we could eat. Freshly cooked yes but unfortunately the Korma and masala had no flavour at all, clearly skimping on the cream. After many years of using I am now going elsewhere!

Ordered a takeaway - great service and fantastic food - had butter chicken which was delicious, creamy, beautifully flavoured. Chicken silicila which was spicy and juicy with a bit more punch than the butter chicken - please note both are mildish dishes. Lemon rice which was tart and went with the dishes really well and a Peshwari Nan which was fluffy, not too sweet and just right. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back to try more dishes! Friendly service too.

Had a fantastic time at Rahman's Kitchen this weekend, and honestly can't give it anything less than a 5/5. The standout for me was definitely the lamb curry – it was incredibly delicious and tender. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere really added to the whole experience. It was also super convenient having the bus stop right outside of the restaurant for a quick one bus journey from Abbey Wood station on a weekend where the main roads for cars were busy with road works. If you're in the mood for authentic and mouthwatering Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
