Girasole in Richmond upon Thames

Just had the new Full Italian here. Teddington has a lot of great cafes but this is definitely the best cooked brek around. Home-made baked beans, Italian sausage and all the rest. And their coffee is excellent too. Highly recommended!

Lovely authentic Italian cafe/restaurant. Food incredibly fresh and service great. Looking forward to having a drinkie and tapas on a Friday/Saturday, as open till 9pm.

Have just had amazing early evening cicetta and drinks at Girasole (I think this evening event is a new addition for them). The food was delicious - took us a while to work out the combination of what we wanted but when we did, everything was really tasty and a true taste of Italy. Had olives and small biscuits (cant remember name), taster pizza (best pizza I have had in a LONG time) good selection of arancini, taster pasta dishes, Aperol Spritz etc. Great food/drinks/price. Thoroughly recommend. Will definitely be back. Many thanks

We happened to find ourselves in need of a late lunch in Teddington and commenced walking south from the top of the High Street. We hadn’t gone far when Girasole appeared. Suffice to say that we were made comfortable by the staff and provided with menus that described all of the dishes that you could hope for in a stylish Italian restaurant. We chose Beef Lasagne and Putanesca as our mains and Salted Caramel cake for after, with great coffee. All food was wonderful!

They may only be allowed to serve takeaway right now, but Girasole is definitely still our first choice on a Saturday morning. The friendliest lady serving, great hot drinks abs my friend is addicted to their croissants as she says they couldn’t be fresher or tastier. They still have some of their signature dishes cooked and packaged up. Also, a selection of high quality coffees and goods. Really recommend this place for anyone out and about needing a pick me up

I visited Girasole today on the second day of the second lockdown. I was impressed with how they have adapted so quickly and efficiently to the new changes whilst still maintaining their trademark Italian style and welcoming atmosphere! The coffee was great and the ‘Puccino’ (a light folded pitta/pizza style sandwich) was delicious.I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lockdown treat!

First visit to this cafe. Good Italian food and service but oh dear most of the staff only wearing plastic visors. It will protect their eyes but direct tiny breath particles downward and into the air and quite likely onto customers. The visors look good but they are useless at protecting customers. To reduce the spread of aerosol partials a mask must be worn to absorb the particles and unfortunately plastic does not do this. Can only give one star because of poor hygiene as described.

The food is outstanding with freshly cooked meals and a great selection of options. The coffee is really good and the staff are very efficient and friendly and service is prompt. They are also dog friendly as well! :)

So impressed with the amount and quality of food. I had spaghetti with Basel and Tomato and spaghetti Sicilian. It was beautifully cooked and the sauces were delicious. The portions were above average. We had lemon cake and a sponge cake for dessert which were freshly made and moist. As a side there was a brioche roll with cheese, Pesto and ham, crispy and fabulous. I bought the food through TooGoodToGo and paid £6 for what would have cost £18. Highly recommended for its service and food. The young man serving behind the counter is so friendly and engaging with his customer. Delightful!

Tried this out via the Too Good To Go app. Received the most delicious food - portion of lasagne, a couple of pieces of different types of frittata & a huge piece of the best lemon cake I have ever had. All portions were very generous. While I waited the minute or so it took to get my order, I admired the selection of Italian groceries for sale - great presents for foodies. I will definitely be returning as I feel there’s many more items on the menu waiting to be enjoyed by me.

If you live in or around Teddington and love Italian food like us, you have an absolute gem of a place to go for genuine, fresh and tasty Italian food. The dishes are varied and freshly made but the real showstopper for us was the unbelievably yummy tiramisu which us surely the finest we've ever tasted. Where High Streets teem with boring chain-restaurant food, its places like Girasole that make it a much better place.

I enjoyed a great restful lunch - tagliatelle sicialiana, home made lemon cake with macchiato. The meal was excellent, with all the taste of great ingredients and great cooking. The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. This is a place to relax and socialise around good food. We need more of such good little restaurants where food is not manufactured but made to be appreciated. highly recommended :)

We ordered a family lasagne, as well as a selection of desserts. Amazing, home cooked food, which was well worth the price!

Great little spot on the High Street in Teddington. Classic Italian provisions like WINE and top dollar ‘al bronzo’ pasta for off sales, smashing ‘proper’ coffee, cakes and freshly prepared food to eat in or takeaway. Enjoyed a sandwich-but-not-as-we-know-it ‘er puccino’ while eyeballing some poor bloke’s fresh tiramisu (back for that ASAP). Staff are welcoming and helpful - glad we stopped in and sure to be regulars now. Give it a try.

Very cosy and friendly place, great variety of authentic Italian dishes, very healthy, and a welcoming warm staff willing to whip up the dish of your desires with some special orders. You can also buy your organic olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a variety of pastas as well as several other Italian delicacies. If your taste is Italian, Girasole is definitely one of the best café/delicatessen in the area.

I’ve always been a regular customer for years! 2 shots of vanilla latte with a piece of fresh of homemade cake is a must every morning! They have a warm and welcoming atmosphere combined with a great customer service! Now they introduced a new sandwich served in a traditional Italian bread and my favourite was the one with meatballs (burino) and the taste of their homemade arancini is exceptional and rare to find around west London!

In this difficult situation positively it has given me more time to go around and discover what my neighborhood can offer, so many shops, cafes and bakeries. Late Saturday afternoon I was desperate, I went looking for a last minute cake for Sunday to surprised my best friend, when I finally found this shop open Girasole (if you don't want to end up buying from M&S or Sainsbury's there is not much open at that time!) and the lady there, suggested more than a few options and I choose the pavlova (that was funny she confessed she had just made the same cake that morning for another customer ) ready to pick up the following day. I normally don't take photos but this was well worth taking and my friend was so happy! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back to buy more Italian food, as they also have italian products to buy, I've already tried their amazing arancini.

Last week I went to Girasole to buy my breakfast.I bought berry cake and I took it to my job.But what a surprise I found, I opened the muffin and there was mold everywhere.I also so woman in the kitchen wearing inappropriate clothes and her hair not covered, so I can just imagine how old was the cake.I will never come back there.

Really enjoyed the takeout. Food very well prepared and so tasty! Even before lockdown always have highly rated the food here...

a great experience every time i go to girasole ....i find kind people and amazing food .. from PASTA to TIRAMISU and CAKE... ! the atmosphere of Girasole is so warm .. it makes you feel like you are at home ..!

We just had a takeout dinner from Girasole and it was the most delicious thing I’ve had in months. How they can make such simple Italian food taste so amazing is beyond me. It must be the ingredients. Now that they’ve started selling Delicatessen items too, you can stock up on treats and get a tasty tasty dinner at the same time yum yum

Just had the best tiramisu and lunch from Girasole! I’m so glad they are open and running. They’ve also got a lovely deli with Italian food and I will definitely be coming back.

My wife and i popped in as had seen they had changed format during lockdown - takeaway lunches, dried pasta, selection of pastries, coffees, all takeaway. Had a lovely conversation with the owner (half Italian) who taught us something new about spotting quality pasta. Had 2 utterly incredible meatball burino's and a custard pastry, both delicious. HIGHLY recommend.

Tried today the new take away menu after the re opening The food was amazing we had the special pasta alla puttanesc and rigatoni I couldn't resist and ordered the parmigianna Thank you very much

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Usual breakfast options made with quality ingredients. The pasta dishes are the best I’ve had outside Italy and the parmigiana is amazing. The owner is Italian, passionate about food and it shows. The staff are lovely - Fatima and Taia especially. Gets very busy at weekends.

Popped in for lunch with my two terriers who can be a bit of a handful. We were made to feel welcome and the food (eggs in a spicy tomato sauce with cheese and veggies) was really outstanding for the price. The decor is also really nice and it has a laid back, friendly feel. I will certainly be visiting again when in Teddington.

This cafe often gets overlooked for those further up Teddington High St, including Fallow Deer (which is great too). But this has a better selection on the menu and is great for brunch & lunch. Vegan and veggies catered for and everything else. Great pasta too, go visit!

On my regular visits to see friends in Teddington we always come here for Sunday breakfast. Excellent choice of food for all tastes and the staff are always so friendly and polite. What's not to like.

We need more of this type of cafe. On two occasions I have visited I have had the vegan breakfast. There’s breakfasts to suit all tastes and hunger levels! It’s a cheerful busy restaurant. Lovely coffee. Pleasant staff. I’ll be back to try the pasta dishes some time soon. Not to forget very reasonably priced. Excellent.

We had the most memorable Pic Nic thank you to Girasole scrumptious food. Thank you again for your Lasagne, cannelloni and all the rest. All our friends just loved it was a success

Basically, best decision I ever made when I decided to go and try some other restaurants in Teddington one day. I ate meatballs and the dish was perfect!! This restaurant is wonderful and all of my friends enjoyed it also.. I would reccomend to anybody to visit this place.

I visited with my family on monday during our stay in London and I have to say the customer service was exceptional. The waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious. Best Italian café we’ve come across during our stay. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family that come over from the states

I have visited Girasole twice over the summer and believes it offers some of the best cafe food on the high street. The menu is diverse and interesting, and there are a great selection of fresh cakes and pastries at the counter. The paninis are lovely and the bruschetta is nicely made and good value for money. Highly recommended as a stop in Teddington!!

Husband, son and I visited here one late morning looking for a light lunch/brunch. The Girasole did not fail. All three of us enjoyed our food, and my husband's vegetarian breakfast was a work of art. I particularly enjoyed my caffe latte, which had a real Italian taste to it.

This cafe is beautifully styled and serves delicious food all day. It’s my go to place in Teddington. The staff are really lovely and friendly. Best dish for me on the menu is the Tagliatelle Pasta Mafaldina Aromatica, but I’ve never had a bad dish here at all. The coffee is so good. ♥️

Girasole is fast becoming an institution on Teddington High Street. Its a down to earth place with a warm interior thats very unpretentious. Unlike the luvvie brigades favourite (Fallow Deer) this cafe offers a mixed menu of breakfast/brunch, sandwiches and traditional homemade pasta dishes. I recently had a pasta dish which was incredible. You don't have to queue out the door or battle with overpriced buggies to get in and you'll usually always manage to get a seat straight away. The staff are very nice indeed and if you haven't already, give it a try!

This was our second choice (the other place was full) for breakfast on our first morning when staying in town for rugby. The food was very good (I had their veggie special) as was the service. The coffee was passable although my expectations were not overly high as Italian coffee is not really to my taste these days.

An excellent brunch of full English, eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict with good coffee. A delightful waitress and a relaxed and informal atmosphere made for a lovely visit. We will return.

Terrible service, we waited ages for a round of coffees and when we queried whether we'd been given a frothy latte in place of an americano with milk the mayhem ensued. Two more attempts to deliver the requested coffee with milk jug on the side but getting a milky coffee/latte. It's a small point but the patronising response from the waitress was infuriating, she kept repeating that she was italian but didn't explain why this was relevant, i assume the point was that this meant she was beyond reproach when it comes to matters that are coffee related. But when we asked if we could give up on the white americano idea she still came back with another and pushed the idea that what we wanted was not what we were going to get. you really don't need the issue prolonged when you've already asked if you can leave it.

First things first...whatever it says outside this place isn’t an Italian Restaurant...

I was waiting for my car to have it's MOT at Halfords around the corner and decided to drop in for a coffee and breakfast having never set foot in this place before. I was quite delighted. It wasn't very busy on a week day morning, just a few Teddington ladies that breakfast and lunch, by the look of things, discussing the previous Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing routines. I suspect that they have already clocked this place as a good one.

We went for a Sunday all day breakfast which turned into a comedic farce. Waitress seemed stumped by contents of menu particularly the complex “continental breakfast”. Fortunately they had run out of croissants which solved the problem. When the food finally arrived it was long after we’d finished our drinks. The requirement for cutlery was seen as both surprising and unreasonable. Don’t go there.

Went in this place because the competitor just up the road was really busy. Which was a mistake we should have waited there for a table.

Wonderful warm friendly staff. Always a lovely experience and never disappointed in the food. Chef Nas's seafood linguine is the best! Would highly recommend this little Italian Cafe both for it's food and excellent service.

To be honest, we were on our way to the Fallow Deer but found it closed for a summer holiday, so we went to Girasole for the first time and were not disappointed. It's an attractive café and most of the tables were occupied. I had smoked salmon on sour dough toast with avocado & perfectly scrambled eggs and an enormous, excellent and very hot coffee that took me an age to drink. Everything we had was fresh and delicious and we thought reasonably priced. I'm really surprised to see the amount of non-positive reviews on here, based on our first experience we'll definitely be back. I do agree that the staff were not all that upbeat, but it didn't really occur to me while we were there (i.e. it didn't impact our meal/visit), it was only reading the reviews on here later, so I guess the odd smile and making customers feel a little more welcome would probably do wonders for their reviews and repeat business. Anyway, we'll be returning to work our way through the breakfast menu...

Miserable staff, tired dry looking food, service was slow and clearly an effort! Not a patch on The Fallow Deer which is where I should have gone.

Waitress was so miserable I felt depressed just being in her vicinity. Very curt and abrupt and never looked directly at us, only into the distance. Made us feel like it was a chore to talk to us.

La camarera tomó nuestra orden y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para nuestra comida. Tuve un batido con un sándwich club desayuno, mi novia tenía una pantalla blanca de café (en una enorme taza! ) y el desayuno saludable. Todo estaba buenísimo y era menos de 25 libras, sin duda, volveremos.

Never had a bad breakfast here. Lovely staff, decent prices, great coffee, always lovely poached eggs, wouldn't go anywhere else in Teddington after our weekly runs! Wayyyyy better than the pretentious others in the street!

I love this place. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. And I have NEVER had a problem with the service.Teddington High Street is awash with cafes. This one is my first choice because it employs a chef and offers proper hot food as well as the usual selection of coffees and cake.

We waited forty minutes for two meals, another ten for the third and another five for the fourth meal. One meal was returned as the toast was soaked through as a result of poorly drained poached egg. After an hour we gave up on the fifth meal. At no point did anyone explain the delay and only one other table was served food in that time. When we complained, the waitress apologised profusely insisting we did not have to pay. However, on leaving Girasole, the chef chased after us, insisting that we should go back and pay for the food, shouting that we will never be allowed back in the restaurant in the future. We did not go back and pay but we are perfectly happy to oblige the chef in never returning to this cafe again.

me and my family went there on 12th march , we order food 2 breakfast, took them 45 minutes to delivery the food, in the mine time people came after us were eating already,clearly they forgot us.while i was wanting for the food i sow 2 members of staff picked up a cake from the cakes display/fridge by hands which put me of having desert there. After 30 minutes the toast come and another 15 minutes until the breakfast come. Food come cold(don't know why to so long then, to have cold food?), any way we left shortly because of ours kid. we went to pay and they wanted to had more to the bill, then we consumed. I complaint about the waiting time and they shouldn't use bear hands to pick cakes and the lady deny and speak a different language with her colleague. very rude, no manners. we will not come back again for sure

Been coming to Girasole for some time and must say their breakfasts are always tasty, healthy selections and for meat lovers very generours portions and best cuts.Coffee delicious and the staff are very friendly.Their Italian selections , pasta, salads and cakes are delicious as well.

Visited for breakfast on a cold late Sunday morning - though probably was just after twelve, but still serve an all day breakfast menu. Service was very courteous and friendly, though the food was not exactly speedy - we didn't have a problem with that as had plenty to chat about, and found the atmosphere nice and relaxing. Food was of a really good standard and excellent value. Didn't try any of them on this visit, but the cakes on offer, look amazing - will definitely be back to sample. Also spotted a couple pasta dishes being served to others, very tasty looking...yet another to go back and sample.

The waitresses are plain rude. Huddle together at the till, tap on their phone & have awful attitudes. Can honestly say I've never experienced such appalling service. Gave my 2 year old a mouldy cake to eat. I usually tip but the only tip these girls received was a note in how to treat their (very few) customers. Food is mediocre at best.

Had a nice lunch here in this friendly Italian run cafe. Reasonably priced home made sandwiches (variety of bread types and wide range of filling choices) and whilst service might have been leisurely if you are not in a hurry (as we weren't) that isn't a problem. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Very nice service, beautiful girls and tasty food :) but a bit cold inside the restaurant.When is cold outside we want to go and warm up a little bit !

I stopped here for lunch and had a hot wrap. It was good quality, very tasty and hot. It took a relatively long time to come (as I'm guessing it was handmade) but I wasn't in any rush so it was fine. I'll definitely come back and try something else.

Went in and sat to wait for service today (Sunday) - as advised by staff on previous visit. 2 takeaway customers were served and another couple sitting down who came in after us. Queried this with young staff member who was extremely rude and said we would be served when the other staffer was ready. Why ?? The other staffer was extremely busy preparing and serving drinks and the younger staffer was not . And is it unreasonable to expect to be served in turn?If you want customers to go to the counter before they sit down put a notice up to say so. It is not right to be aggressively shouted at by a young staffer. An appalling way to be treated - no apology at all. So we left and will not be back.

Have visited Girasole over the past 9 years, and have seen many changes. The latest refurbishment is lovely, the food reasonable value and quality. But the service is really bad. I can see from other reviews that I am not the only one to experience this recently. One waitress in particular seems to pick and choose who she will take orders from, and is impolite when approached by disgruntled customers. She does not know much about customer service, and does not know how to say sorry or remedy a situation. She makes you feel as if it is your fault a situation has occurred. Such a shame that the experience at Girasole has been blighted by this behaviour. I know that one or two customers not going back is not really going to affect the business, but I am annoyed that a cafe I used to enjoy going to is not pleasant any more.

We have been twice, had sandwich, wrap and salad the first time, and cooked breakfast the second, all very tasty and reasonable price. Coffee and tea was also good.

Last time when i visited Girasole ive been served nicely by two girls. First i ordered hot chocolate, which was nice and hot. Decoration inside of the restaurant was very intresting and i love it! Halloween was coming. Climat in the restaurant was warm and cosy. I got a healthy breakfast which was tasty, but i think that spinach was not washed... Young waiter apologized me for that, and offered me another one, anyway i didnt want it. Later i wanted dessert, because there was a large selection of cakes. She gave me big and nice slice. I enjoyed my lunch there and definitely i will be back soon.

It was a chilly morning. We decided to head out along this street in search of breakfast instead of having the usual at the hotel. The pastries displayed caught my eye n in we went. We were greeted by cakes, cakes n cakes! It was a cake galore n we were obviously spoilt for choices. It took us quite a while before we decided on a savour English breakfast, tomato soup n a slice of chocolate passion fruit cake. A huge cuppa hot chocolate sits nicely in the tummy in such a cold weather. The food was fantastic. Our son loves the cake. I'm not a fan of sweets. But I must say that the cake was really awesome. The blend of the chocolate n passion fruit was just nice. It wasn't too sweet. We love the ambience n service as well. Will definitely be back if we have a chance to. Highly recommended!

Late lunch on Sunday, had been pottering around Teddington was beginning to feel hungry.Fallow Deer was full so decide to eat in Girasole. I seemed to be the only customer and although it was only about 330 felt they were waiting to close. Off hand service stewed tasting coffee and the two poached eggs that came with the smoked salmon etc where solid. Then one of the staff started to sweep around my table felt they just wanted me to go. Shame as it looks a very pleasant cafe. No wonder they where empty and cafe near by full.

We visited Girasole on Saturday 15 October around noon. The place was very busy but we managed to get a table.The service was very slow and the staff didn't really know what was going on in the restaurant.We needed to wait more than 45 minutes for our breakfast. People arriving after us were served before us. Nobody came and apologies to us for the delay until I asked and pointed out that other people were served before us.The food was terrible. It is not that difficult to do a breakfast.We will definitely won't go back and it is a shame as the place itself is nice.

I've reviewed Girasole before however months ago. My wife and I thought we'd give this place another go. We know the food is good but the service was terrible. Sadly nothing's changed and this is still true today. It's so disappointing. I'm not sure what's happened to the previous team as they were very friendly and attentive. It didn't take 45 mins - 1 hour for you to receive your lunch either! We heard several customers complaining about waiting for their food today. Not one apology to them from the staff either. Instead a rude reply from the young waitress in particular. "It's not my problem" appears to be the standard reply. "We always have this problem on a weekend" was another one today from the staff! This was to justify long waits for food. Sorry Girasole but weekends are when you need to be especially getting it right. Sadly not going back here.

Visited twice. First visit overheard a complaint re the attitude of the waitress but as we were served by a nice gentleman, couldn't see the problem. However, upon our second visit there were 3 very bored waitresses huddled around the counter tapping on their phones cackling like the 3 witch's of eastwick. No menu given, a mouldy muffin given to our 2 year old which we sent back disgusted, slow & poor service to say the least. The cackling witches clearly too busy browsing social media to bother waitressing. Restaurant is always dead probably due to the attitude of the 3 witches.

Visited several times before this and had enjoyed the breakfasts. Decided to visit again, was greated like a long lost friend. The breakfast was served quickly and as always proved to be excelent.

Had a brief visit for ice cream. It was first class with a great choice of flavours. Brilliant pistachio and the second best coconut I've ever had; my wife had tiramisu. only lack of time stopped us going back again! Friendly staff.

Thought i'd visit again after not having been for a while... I walked in and sat down but was not greeted by the two waitresses standing at the counter chatting to each other. I feel i must write another review as i had to go and ask for a menu. They were not busy in there and a simple hello would have been nice!! Ok the food is nice, i had the traditional breakfast and large mocha which was nice but please please have a team bonding exercise or ask your staff to concentrate on customers and not each other. You used to be good!

Loved the charm of the interior and Italian music.We ordered panini and fries. Took a while to arrive but was acceptable amount of time to wait,however food was tasty, fresh and well presented.Service was ok though could be improved eg asking if food was ok etc.Average price for area.Small improvements in service would see this increase in rating.Would return though as food was nice.

My wife and I have visited numerous times and always enjoyed returning to Girasole. However after today's experience I'm sorry to say that may have just been our last. After speaking so positively about our previous experiences we opted to go for lunch with our family. After helping ourselves to menus and waiting 15 minutes our order was taken by a young waitress who couldn't crack a smile and didn't want to say a word. After waiting for our food for about 45 minutes, we decided to ask another waitress if it was coming soon? "About 5-7 minutes" she said making a point there were other orders before ours. We noticed people that arrived after had received their food before us. "It's not my problem" was the response received from the original waitress when we said we'd been waiting an hour for our food. When it eventually came, the food was nice hence the overall 'poor' rating rather then 'terrible'. At the time of paying the bill we mentioned our disappointment in waiting for an hour and explained it would have been appreciated more if they had been honest and apologised for forgetting our order. "We didn't forget your order, we were very busy" was abruptly said by the waitress. Not one apology from any member of staff was given throughout our time there. I appreciate it was busy but it would have still been nice if staff had simply apologised for a longer then normal wait rather then taken a defensive/rude stance. Girasole has either had a change of hands or change of staff and we've certainly noticed the difference in the customer service. Very disappointed.

Me and my friend went for lunch we order 2 dishes of pasta and we really enjoyed and staff was very friendly and very good service I really recommend for lunch is very good place .we will go again.

Wonderful fresh pastries, hearty generous breakfasts (without the London price-tag, although I would pay it as they are really good..), lovely coffee and always a warm welcome. In some ways, I'm glad the Herds haven't yet caught on...

Had lunch with a friend at girasole this week. The food tasted ok however:- I wiped the table and the wipe was BLACK- I went to the bathroom and if STANK like hell- I saw the kitchen on my way to the bathroom and it didn't look clean- I had diarrhoea that started couple of hours after my meal Come on people, some basic hygiene is needed!

Interesting atmosphere with a good selection of cakes. Quite basic but coffee is great. A good chill out place for the weekend.

My kids had the Spaghetti Bolognese and said it was the best they ever had. I had the full English breakfast which again was very tasty. Portions are generous too! Great service, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go again!!

Maybe locals don't yet realise that Girasole is open for dinner on Friday evenings. We enjoyed a very well-served dinner which was authentically Italian for the freshness of the ingredients. In particular the Bruschetta starter was as good as any we've had in Italy and so much better than many we've had in so-called Italian restaurants here. My main of black squid linguine with seafood was absolutely delicious and my partner enjoyed well-cooked sea-bass. The choice of wines was surprisingly limited however. As this is a very popular daytime cafe I expect the Friday evening dinners will soon become very popular.

The regular front-of-house team, a young Italian couple, are back from their August holiday, THANK GOD, and normal excellent service has returned with them. We had two 1* visits in their absence, and then avoided Girasole until their return. Great food, nice coffee...but it's the friendly, efficient service, the warmth, the sense that nothing is too much trouble, that makes this place our most frequent stop in Teddington. I hope the boss/owner pays them well!

Went in as my regular stop, The Fallow Deer which is excellent by the way, was closed.From the start it was a nightmare, no greeting and the service was so bad I opted to leave after 20 minutes of waiting for a drink. Resulted in popping across to the Kings Head who granted don't do the best coffee in the world but the staff are lovely and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. Don't waste your time popping into Girasole, I won't be again...

Our favourite cafe in Teddington, the fallow dear was closed so we chose to come here. From the start we regretted it. Long time to get servedNo greetingAll of our food came out separately with my wife finishing hers by the time mine arrivedDrinks were wrongIt comes across as the front of house staff are trying it out, they do not know what they are doing. Chaos and will not be back.

Decided to try out as recently refurbished. Ordered 5 drinks which arrived separately over 50 minutes! One drink was sent back 3 times the other once as wrong orders and poor quality. Service was so slow that many groups left without service and tables remained uncleaned. No point complaining as the manager said 'they were inexperienced staff what could he do'! No apology or a sense of customer service. Considering the number of coffee shops in Teddington its not worth trying!

Had a great pasta with Cheese and spinach, delicious. The place is always cozy and inviting, love the decor, modern yet warm.

We regularly visit Teddington and this is one of our favourite places for Brunch. Lovely coffee, great breakfasts (at reasonable prices). Lots of choice for lunch, always high quality and good service.

We visit the cafe regularly as we live nearby and always have a fabulous breakfast. It is run by a lovely Italian family and has a really great atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend the eggs benedict!

Lovely cafe. Always full. All ages, quite trendy with brick walls and attractive counter. Good coffee, prompt service. Always good for all-day breakfasts and pastries.
