Gino D’Acampo Sky Bar 360 in Liverpool

I don’t usually leave reviews reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. Wonderful views of the city, great atmosphere and brilliant service shout out to Issy and Manager Hayley who made sure my birthday night out was truly amazing. Me and my friends will definitely be returning soon. I have been telling everyone about the amazing cocktails and staff thank you girls you really made it a night to remember.

Preciosas vistas gran cóctel, sin embargo, Dios mío el servicio fue lo que me hizo la noche. Quería gritar especialmente a Hayley nuestra servidora, ella realmente me alegró la noche, gracias por alegrarnos la noche!

Comida encantadora, vistas preciosas y un gran ambiente. No puede faltar el restaurante, excepto que hacía un poco de frío allí, pero todavía disfrutamos. Se espera que las mujeres MASIVAS COMPARTAN LOS BAÑOS con los hombres. Absolutamente un gran no, las puertas de los cubículos tienen machos y hembras, pero ¿cuál es el punto de eso? Las mujeres no quieren estar en el baño haciendo lo que hacemos, y luego el gran kev se mece para tirarse y despeja la habitación en segundos. Vamos Gino, seguro que podrías meter un mens loo en alguna parte. No volveré por esta razón.

Fantastic views - ideal for sunsets! Cocktails were good and the price wasn't too high for central Liverpool. The view is what you're paying for!

We visited as part of 60th. birthday celebrations however the visit was somewhat disappointing . The birthday celebrations were pre-arranged for a dressed table and afternoon tea . Sadly neither of these were available . There appeared to be only one person preparing food and another taking orders , which as it wasn't busy we weren't expecting to many delays . However the drinks order was ordered and delivered incorrectly and our food order was very slow . Subsequent drinks orders were either forgotten or again incorrect .This I believe was due to insufficient staff and the waiter was struggling as it became busier . Towards the end of our visit another staff member arrived possibly a manager .Another party arrived and was welcomed very warmly unlike our more matter of fact welcome . We did make this staff member aware of our dissatisfaction and were given a reduction from our final bill. The food and drink we had as an alternative to our expected aftetnoon tea was very nice .However as it was a special birthday celebration the occasion was somewhat spoiled .Given Gino lends his name to this restaurant I would have expected far better .

I visited today for afternoon tea with my mum for her birthday we were greeted by a lovely waitress called Daphne she made us feel at home! Our experience was amazing and that was down to her! Thankyou Daphne

Booked a table for 2 7pm-8pm greeted by the waiter and shown to our table. Our drinks order was then taken and after a bit of a wait the drinks arrived. Lovely atmosphere and it was a bit busy. Great view across Liverpool. One thing I would say is that we only got one drink in the hour as the waiter did not come back to us and I wasn't able at catch his attention. Nice experience but they lost out on at least another £25 sale from us due to lack of attention.

After a fairly bad first visit earlier this year I’d put down to it being really busy, we gave this place another chance on Christmas Eve and booked a table for drinks at 6pm as we had a table booked in Ginos. There won’t be a third visit… No one was about to seat us so we wandered in and were told they’d just been hit by happy hour so apologieed for the mess and a lady swiftly cleaned a table in the fairly empty bar now and we sat down and ordered some drinks for the 4 of us. 25mins later we were still waiting, for those drinks… We did get an apology again when drinks arrived and at the end for the service etc. but I wouldn’t now return, only good thing is the views.

Started here for work Christmas night out Dec 2022 before having our meal at Ginos restaurant! The setting is nice with great views! Friendly staff who provide table service. Probably worth booking to guarantee a table especially of a weekend although we did manage to get back in after our meal for a couple more drinks! Unfortunately upon coming to do another review (this one not quite as complimentary) I have found I hadn’t actually pressed send on the above review but it been waiting to be sent all this time. Anyway for the above visit I’d was giving 4/5 however my next review…. I came here with my partner just before Christmas December 2023. We’d booked a table although upon arrival it wasn’t too busy in fact it was fairly empty. We were welcomed and sat at our table we ordered some cocktails and a sharing platter of Italian meats, bread and olives etc. it all arrived and was ok but after this we were kind of ignored. The table in the corner next to ours had a couple on it that seemed to be garnering a lot of the staffs attention and getting a really attentive service. From what we think we could make out they were or at least the woman was doing some kind of video reviews so possibly some kind of social media channel person or something, we really wouldn’t know but I don’t think it warranted us appearing to be invisible by the staff. At times I actually felt it was rude when trying make eye contact with staff to get their attention and being completely blanked. I had been previously before with work colleagues for drinks and it was very busy at that time but the staff were good and attentive I was more disappointed for my partners first visit here. Thankfully we had Ginos loyalty points that basically paid for it otherwise we’d have been more disappointed. Expected so much more.

Endroit très sympa, jolie vue s’il n’y a pas de brouillard…. Personnel sympa, excellent cocktail, nous avons pris le plateau de charcuterie à 2 puis un chou profiterole à partager, il était délicieux!!!

Primera y última vez allí. Pesadilla total, llegó para ser mostrado ascensor al bar del cielo. Servicio de mesa terrible, una ronda de bebidas en la hora antes de nuestra comida. Fuimos a nuestra comida, bruschetta con gambas preciosas. Larga espera entre medias para la red, alrededor de una hora, sin actualización o disculpas. El filete de solomillo demasiado graso y nada especial, se esperaba más especialmente donde estábamos. Desierto Tuve panacotta Baileys, no Baileys en absoluto solo sabor a café. He tenido comidas mucho mejores y más baratas en establecimientos sin nombre que han sabido mejor con un mejor servicio sin quejas. Aparte de las increíbles vistas que necesitan para ponerse las pilas. No recomendaría en absoluto.

Realmente estábamos deseando que llegara el té de la tarde en familia, sin embargo, estábamos tan decepcionados de esperar más de una hora para que nos sirvieran cuando llegó la comida que le faltaba la capa media de bollos cuando se les preguntó sobre esto dijeron que lo olvidaron cuando lo sacaron no había mermelada solo mermelada. ¿Quién tiene mermelada en los bollos? Comida terminada a pesar de pedir 3 veces el té nunca llegó muy decepcionado nunca volverá. Nuestro servidor era disculpable y agradable no es su culpa, pero en general la experiencia es horrible

No te molestes Estábamos en Liverpool de nuevo y reservamos con antelación cuando vimos este lugar, intrigado por las vistas disponibles y anticipando un buen servicio y la toma de Gino en el té de la tarde. Las primeras impresiones nunca son erróneas, llegaron al vestíbulo a cero contacto visual de cualquiera de los miembros del personal. Vi un cartel que decía piso 18 y localicé los ascensores. Entramos en el ascensor y un residente del hotel nos dijo que necesita usar su tarjeta de acceso para acceder a esa planta, ayudó a evitar problemas. Llegar a la planta 18 para conocer a algunos empleados que realmente no tienen idea. ¡La primera persona nos aconsejó que habláramos con otro colega, que rápidamente nos envió de vuelta para hablar con la persona original! Luego nos llevan a una mesa tipo bar con excelentes vistas de la ciudad y principalmente del río. Hay dos taburetes, ¿somos una fiesta de tres? Tenemos que pedir un taburete extra. Un grupo de chicos, teniendo un gran tiempo en el bar a las 3 pm pero muy ruidoso por lo que pedimos que se muevan ya que están sentados a menos de 2 pies de nosotros. Un montón de otras mesas de bar vacías, pero no se puede tener uno de esos? Pasamos a algunas mesas de nivel inferior, vista de la ciudad, frente a la estación de Lime Street y capaz de ver todo el camino hasta nuestro hotel en la cima de Brownlow Hill. Tenemos nuestras bebidas, 2 cocodrilos calientes y agua. Luego 15 minutos en camarero llegó con nuestra comida de té de la tarde en bastidores de lujo. Comida bastante buena, más cosas de pastel dulce que artículos salados, pero era sabroso. Sin embargo, la mermelada para bollos es de estilo hotelero mini tarros, sorprendente cuando se piensa en el nombre detrás de este lugar. Las cucharas suministradas no caben en los postres de vaso de chupito. Ya llevábamos 20 minutos tomando el té de la tarde, cuando pensamos que debíamos preguntarnos ¿cuándo nos ofrecerán nuestro té? De nuevo el personal no tiene idea de lo que están haciendo. El té llega y era agradable. El personal está demasiado dispuesto a limpiar los vacíos, a pesar de que nuestra hija sigue comiendo su comida y todavía estamos bebiendo té. La impresión es que queremos tu mesa aunque menos de la mitad llena. Luego la cuenta, el menú de nuestra mesa dice 31 libras por cabeza. La cuenta cobra 34 libras , cuando se le pregunta al camarero hosco dice que son los precios antiguos y no debimos haberle dado ese menú? Dijimos que estamos pagando £ 31 como se muestra y él regresa con una factura revisada que tiene el cargo por servicio incluido que pagamos, pero en retrospectiva debería haber insistido en que se eliminó. Hemos revisado el sitio web que para ser justos muestra £ 34 como precio, volviendo a los comentarios del personal que se ejecutan como tema de esta revisión, si aumenta sus precios entonces seguramente compruebe que los menús tienen los precios correctos también? Una experiencia decepcionante en un contraste completo con todas las demás partes en las que hemos estado en esta vibrante ciudad amigable, donde el personal está bien entrenado y amable.

The atmosphere was amazing. The tunes were brilliant and the staff are really friendly. However, the food was nuked in the microwave. I had the rice balls and 50% were ice cold and the garlic potatoes were too hot to eat right away. Don't get me wrong, the food was lovely but the presentation was not the best, the bread was literally bread 5 ways, no spread or butter, the potatoes were presented as 16 boiled potatoes in a bowl, and as I said, felt like the food was microwaved. For the sky bar, I would go just for the drinks and to take in the views, maybe eat before you come here.

We booked for afternoon tea for three of us. The location was amazing, which was why we had chosen it. That was our mistake. We should have checked out other people’s experiences. There was only one person greeting and serving when we arrived, which was at 2p.m.. It was quiet, so we didn’t think that would be a problem. She asked for our drink choices, which we gave her. These were promptly brought out to us. There was however no pots of hot water as there is usually. One of us requested hot water and was given a small cream jug. The afternoon tea eventually arrived. The savoury selection was very limited. One finger of egg mayonnaise each, the same of cream cheese and cucumber. The bread was stale around the edges, which to my mind means they had been made too early. The scones were delicious but there wasn’t enough clotted cream. When I requested more, I was told that the delivery had missed and there was no more in the kitchen. The jam was plentiful. The deserts were okay. Quite a good selection, which we couldn’t manage to finish. When we asked for them to be packed up to take home, there was no boxes or foil available, as before, there had been no delivery that day. We were given some napkins to parcel our leftover food in. Not great. We thought £31.00 per person was excessive, but then to put a 10% optional service charge on top was a step too far. Needless to say the tip wasn’t left. We will certainly not be returning.

We ate down stairs in Gino’s which was excellent and decided to have a drink in the Skybar before going to the theatre for the evening. To get to the bar we 1st checked with Gino’s reception as we didn’t have a reservation, she said it was fine and referred us to the lift manager who also asked if we had a reservation, we explained that the lady on reception had said it was OK and had sent us through, he was very friendly and opened the lift for us. To get into the Skybar we had to get past security who asked the same question about a reservation then referred us to a lady at the bar. At this point the tables and sofas around the bar were all empty, we were then asked again if we had reservation as they were very busy, we explained we were having just one quick drink as we were going to the theatre. She said that we could take a gamble and sit at a table but would have to move if the booking turned up, we said that was fine and we would just move to one of the other free tables and her response was that they were booked too. She may well have just said “we really don’t want your business” such a shame as we have only had positive experiences previously but I’m afraid we won’t be going back!

Nice cocktails in a lovely bar with views of the city. Reasonably priced for the setting. We booked for sunset however it was cloudy all day but still a nice evening.

Do not buy the cocktails, they are as weak as nats water. Felt like l had had a glass of lemonade. And they charged me £11 for each cocktail, we were a group of people. And then l was also asked to pay £7.50 service charge on top, just for the waiter to walk over to us with the drinks? Didn't realise till it was too late that the service charge was optional? Lovely venue, good music, but don't but the watery cocktails, there not worth the money, buy a beer or a glass of wine instead.

Visited last Saturday as a belated birthday treat for girlfriend. Great location/views, pleasant ambience and food/drinks all pretty good. Service was pretty hit & miss though unfortunately. Briefly had to queue even though we had a reservation and being told by security guy quite abruptly about having to queue. Generic waitresses floating around, no real ownership, a little chaotic tbf and took ages to get drinks. At one point partner had gone to toilet and they still asked me if I was ready to order. Food options were quite limited (but tasty nevertheless) and we were given conflicting info about what was/wasn't available. All a bit chaotic at the bar too and the staff looked stressed out. Also witnessed someone being told off for smoking on the terrace outside, yet never told them where they could smoke. We're non-smokers but even thought their tone was a bit off and wouldn't have objected to people smoking. So overall it was a nice evening but lacked organisation/staff training to make it a great experience.

Lovely atmosphere and great service. The drinks were incredible and we will definitely be coming back ! Thanks so much !

This place is amazing for a drink and a view, went there on Saturday and got served by Tia got nothing bad to say help us with everything especially drink recommendations, places like this is amazing when they have lovely staff like Tia, will definitely be back

Me and my partner came here for a couple of drinks before dinner and we were not disappointed! The drinks we had were so well made, the bartender really knew their stuff - we asked for a Ramos Gin Fizz and it was incredible. The service we received was impeccable, we were looked after the whole evening really well. The place is so nice, obviously the views here are stunning but all the small details are great, especially the water jugs!

Me and my husband hosted our wedding party here in the evening . We wanted something different, with a nice vibe and pretty views. We had several meetings with the event manager at the time in which we discussed what we wanted during the most important day of our life , we worked together and discussed expectations of the day & night . The event manager made notes and worked together with me and my husband to ensure the day was as smooth as possible. Unfortunately on the day of the wedding we did not receive the service we were promised and expected. 😞 On the day of the wedding we were told that the garden has become available and since the weather was playing ball we were allowed to have tables reserved there for our guests this was a great suprise for us and our guest. Unfortunately the service was appalling from the staff. We weren't prioritised and looked after at all.. some members of the family had to wait over 40 minutes to be served. We were then taken upstairs to the sky bar where everything we discussed prior the wedding was not actioned . We didn't have enough tables reserved for our guest , we did not have an area corned off for our guest . The drinks we payed for on the day were not given out and allocated as per request . Our photographer struggled to know who were our guest therefore it was impossible for her to take pictures of everyone that was there for our wedding day. All the problems that happened during our wedding day and the service we received was far from special and most definitely not what any groom or bride wish , it created a lot of unnecessary stress where we had to complain on the evening of the wedding🥺 I have battled about writing this review as it's been a year but I would hate for another couple to receive this awful service on their wedding day.
