Great food and service. Dog 🐕 friendly, Milo enjoyed his treats, I enjoyed a cracking ploughman's.

Very much enjoyed our takeaway afternoon tea. Really fresh ingredients and the egg sandwiches and chocolate raspberry brownie were a real highlight. Thank you.

Lovely little place, really great service, wonderful fresh food, and the tea and coffee is better than the general cafe's! I have not given 5 stars and am being picky... only for the fact is that yes you do pay for quality but found nearly £10 for a breakfast and drinks were additional, slightly steep (think it was approx £28 just for 2 to have a quick brekkie and a hot drink), and found the parking was a bit of a pain. But it's certainly worth trying and definitely will be returning!

My wife and I have just returned from coffee and cake both where excellent only equalled by the welcome we received, we are dog sitting a timid spaniel who was greeted with friendliness .hope to return here for more coffee soon.

We had an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 80th. Julie rang us beforehand to discuss dietary requirements and so on. The service was excellent. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Tea and coffee were topped up as required. Would definitely recommend.

Just popped in for a coffee. I sat outside where there was plenty of space to watch the World go by! Exceptionally friendly team and whilst I didn't eat, a couple of what looked like avocado 🥑 salads that were brought out to a nearby table looked amazing!

Visited Gingers on Saturday. I pre booked as I am gluten free and vegan. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating for me and my friend. The food was fresh, presented well and lovely. It will definitely be on our go to list of independent cafes to revisit. Thanks for all the support. Susanne

Always love coming here for breakfast/lunch. It’s dog friendly, they always accommodate our dog and make him feel welcome. The food is amazing, I like how the specials change regularly. For me personally the only thing missing off the menu is salmon. The staff are very friendly. Never any complaints. Would definitely recommend

Me and my mum have been here a couple of times now and it is such a lovely kind environment. All the staff and owners are so warming, welcoming and we will be definitely be going back very soon. Lovely place, food was amazing and the staff very friendly. I did ring too ask if we need to book, was advised best too as they get very busy, it was busy, but plenty of seating outside when the weather is good which it was today. Our table was already prepared inside for our arrival. We have booked again for next week x

This was a nice choice for a traditional breakfast. Staffed by two friendly ladies, I was made to feel welcome. Absolutely no complaints about my breakfast and I even had a tomato replaced after I dropped my first one on the floor. Great choice.

Food was pricey for what I got, and was very cold as door kept blowing open.

Tried Gingers for the first time during the lunch period and was taken aback by both the food and service quality. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was really reasonably priced and of a high quality .It satisfied mine and my partners hunger extremely well. The tangerines initially threw me off in the salad (never ever seen this before ) however after tasting , this added another dimension to the salad and was pleasantly surprised by sweet undertones offered by the orange. A very quirky method I've not seen previously however added even more to the unique and brilliant experience I had endured at Gingers. Thank you for having us we will definetly be back !

Was really looking forward to meeting up with some friends for lunch and support our local cafe but we were unfortunately unable to be accommodated as the cafe is not pram friendly. We had two prams with us (sleeping babies under 3 months so not ideal to take them out) and were told that they had been told by East Riding council that they weren’t able to allow prams inside due to the health and safety of carrying hot drinks past us and the venue being too small. We tried to sit outside but it was far too cold/windy with it being January. Very disappointing as the cakes and food looked lovely !

The food, staff and service is always Brilliant, today I tried the New Surf & Turf burger and I can say it was amazing!!! The best Burger I have ever had. My wife had the New Bacon and Blue Moo burger and she said it was also amazing and exceeded all expectations. A great place to chill and have first class food and drink with brilliant service. Dog friendly good food at reasonable price

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday here, twice. I had afternoon tea on my actual birthday with my sisters and daughter and then a tapas night with a few friends, family and work friends. I can not fault anything, the afternoon tea was beautiful, it was all fresh and as much tea as anyone can drink (& we drink a lot of tea) lol. Julie was more than accommodating and it has a lovely pleasant atmosphere 🥰. The tapas night was something else, it was candle lit and banners were placed around the room, even a birthday card on the table, along with some appetisers 😋. There was also music playing in the background. The food on the menu was absolutely delicious, all made with love and care and presented beautifully 😍, it was absolutely gorgeous and everyone agreed how nice it was. Drinks were available to buy, ranging from tea/coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine. There was just me and my party of guests, so it was a nice intimate event and great for a small celebration. I highly highly recommend Gingers, massive thanks to Julie for making my birthday really special 😊 xx

Lovely little hidden gem , Popped in while waiting for my tyre to be fitted across the road. Ladies were so friendly and welcoming , They brought me a free top up for my tea while I worked. A fab cafe - the perfect place to rest a refuel. Have visited a few times recently with my friend while walking our dogs. The dogs are made just as welcome as we are which is lovely for us as dog owners. They love their sausage treat and water. 🐕‍🦺👍

I thought £2.50 for pot of tea for one, £4.80 for pot of tea for two was very expensive. I would of thought £3.50 for pot of tea for two was more in the right price range, sales cafe in skidby charge £1.85 for pot of tea for one Chevals cafe charge £1.95 for pot of tea for one and £3.50 for pot of tea for two 26 Wilson street cafe Yorkshire tea £1.75 pot of tea for one Costa The above prices are for specialty teas and decaf

Lovely little cafe in Willerby. We are new to the area and we are trying all the local places to eat. Went for breakfast at 1000 on a Saturday morning. We did book and glad we did as it was busy and those who did turn up without booking could only sit outside. Enough choice including vegetarian options. Good portions, well presented and tasty. All reasonably priced. Lovely attentive staff. Enjoyed it that much we booked for 1000 next Saturday.

Got a party buffet from Gingers, they were very helpful with selection of sandwiches, salads and other side dishes as well as collection times. The buffet was absolutely excellent, ticked every box. I would highly recommend Gingers for their catering and service.

A delightful local independent cafe that was perfect for us weary travellers looking for breakfast! Piping hot, perfectly cooked and totally delicious. Obviously very popular - booking recommended. During Covid era, excellent hygiene practices in place. So yummy I forgot to take photos!!

Came in with my girlfriend and dog today and had a lovely time was made to feel so welcome on arrival the staff were great and were quick to get Ralph (the dog) a bit of ham and fill his water bowl up. The service and food was lovely only topped by the environment and atmosphere of the cafe. We topped off our meal by sharing an equally nice slice of cake I would recommend this to anyone and am annoyed that we haven’t been to this lovely little gem before we will most definitely be visiting again.

I went in today after a 2hr bike ride and stopped by for a coffee. The woman who served me was very kind and friendly. Service was amazing. Will definitely be popping in again very soon. :)

My experience at Gingers was amazing from start to finish, the service was fabulous, very attentive and made you feel so welcome. The food was gorgeous, the presentation was great and I was very happily full afterwards. I have recommended this little gem to my friends and family and I will definitely be back. Visited Gingers having previously been before, heard it was under new Management so worth a try, have to say excellent service and the breakfast myself and sister had was top quality, great atmosphere and welcoming just made a refreshing change to get out in these difficult times to what seemed normality, the specials menu looked fantastic too, I feel I will be working my way through the menu, I’m sure this place will continue to be a success, worth a visit everyone and I read a “cheese and wine night” coming soon

What a lovely quaint cafe! On main street Willerby and well worth a visit. They were willing to do me poached eggs on toast even though the breakfast menu finished at 11.30 and it was gorgeous.

A fabulous place to enjoy fantastic food whilst catching up with good friends, the staff always give an extremely warm welcome to their customers the food is excellent, lots of choice and very good value for money. My friend is gluten free and the staff go above and beyond to cater for her dietary preferences. A lovely place who deserve continuing success and a place we will continue to visit and enjoy. Thank you Gingers for providing a lovely place for everyone to enjoy.

Lovely little cafe, breakfasts and lunches all available - even takeaways if you're in a hurry. The staff were very friendly and cheerful as well as efficient. All in all a nice experience.

Great little cafe, food is exceptional. Been here a few times now, either for just a coffee and cake or for my lunch. Either way, the food was spot on every visit. The staff are friendly enough and have a smile.

After having a little look on Google this morning we came across this little coffee shop and decided to give it a try. The premesis is located on a small street which means that parking is very limited and can make it a struggle to get parked. We found the cafe to have a large number of tables and chairs which meant we were able to get a table straight away. One of the young ladies came over to offer us a childrens menu and take our drinks order, very polite and full of smiles. Looking over the menu, they offer a good range of food and drinks, there are also buns, cakes and scones on the counter which looked delicious. We opted for coffees, teacakes and toast. Can't fault any of it. Coffee was better tasting than some of the large branded coffee shops I've been to and the toast was doorstop thick which is just how we like it. Overall a good experience but one thing it does lack is a baby changing facility, the toilet doesn't even have a fold down changer which is where it was a bit of a let down, we had to change a 11 week old baby on the toilet floor, on our fold away changing mat that we carry every where with us. We'll definitely be back, would love to try some of the things off the menu.

What a lovely friendly place, either to just pop in for a coffee or a nice meal. Staff are great, always a friendly smile and very helpful. Handy if you are walking the dog as well as they love dogs and dogs like their home made ginger biscuits. Well mine does!!

Lovely afternoon spent at Gingers having one of the nicest afternoon teas I've had. Lovely tablecloth and pretty china with food served on a three tier cake stand each. There was so much to choose from we took a doggy bag home to eat later. A nice selection of sandwiches with tasty fillings plus a small prawn cocktail followed by tasty scone with cream and jam and selection of cakes. Nothing was too much trouble for the ladies who looked after us so well and kept the tea flowing til we could drink no more. A really lovely afternoon. Gingers is our favourite place whether we go just for a coffee or a feast.We are always made to feel like VIPs. Thank you ladies.

Kept us topped up with tea and the sandwiches and scones and cakes were delicious. So much to choose from we all ended up taking a doggy bag home for later. No wonder Gingers is our favourite place. I have been to this cafe on a number of occasions with my small grandaughter who loves the toast and the attention and with my son for breakfast/brunch. The food is great, the coffee good and the atmosphere friendly. It is often full of chatty regulars and the staff are thoughtful and efficient. Great valiue!

My friend mentioned that the cakes are fabulous here and I was looking for one for my son's 18th. I wasn't sure if this is something they would provide but they were brilliant. Very friendly, very helpful and very easy to get hold of. The cake was gorgeous and simply delicious - it was the talking point of the evening. I have never visited the coffee shop before but if this is the type of cakes to expect, you wont be able to keep me away! Thank you so much Sam & girls

Happened to be walking past mid morning so called in for a coffee and tea cake. All very pleasant and reasonably priced. Coffee nothing to right home about.

We eat at this cafe regularly. Run by a lovely lady called Sam Gingers offers a mix of sandwiches, salads etc as well as a selection of home made cakes etc. Gingers caters for gluten free, vegetarian etc and are happy to amend the menu to suit your dietary requirements. Gingers is also dog friendly and Hugo our cockapoo loves to visit too. Totally recommend
