Awful place! .. probably the worst place in Bradford for a drink .. quite intimidating.. and that's just some of the staff!.. avoid at all costs....

Stayed in Bradford for two nights and visited this pub both nights , it’s very central , lots of sport on television and great music being played by a local DJ , the pub has a great vibe and the red haired bar maid danced her way thru her work singing away to the music , good pint of Guinness too

Recommended by a friend. I started to drop in here after work. Really friendly bar staff..after coming here regularly...didn't take them long to remember " two desparados, " as my usual drink. Had an interesting conversation with Kevin ( owner) I'm a new customer....and we talked for a good 15 mins...very friendly. Fabulous music soundtrack...really good bar staff...really friendly service. It's good here. A good crowd.

Met with a group of friends here. Tables all kept clean and tidy and lots of Tv's showing the sports. Drinks reasonably priced and bar service friendly. Seemed to be mainly older generation on Saturday afternoon.

Received abuse from bar staff when i asked when someone would be available to serve the table i was at with 4 friends .. really terrible service i wont be going back

A large pub, with comfortable but worn seating. Background music. There were 3 things on the menu, for lunch,Beefburger, pizza, or chicken. I had the chicken and chips, and it was good-4 pieces of chicken. Staff were friendly, and the place has regular clientelle. Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is bingo at 3pm. People started arriving, about 2pm, for the game. Santitzer at the door, regular cleaning of surfaces, and clean toilets, upstairs. There is a function room, upstairs.

Only went in because everywhere else was busy. I asked for a menu and was handed a crumpled card menu which had seen better days. Prices looked great. But then soon realised why. The food was just awful. you genuinely only get what you pay for. When it arrived we weren’t given cutlery or napkins or asked if we wanted any salt pepper or sauces. Had to chase these up ourselves. Couldn’t eat our food it was just to dire. But hey drinks prices are ok. If your hungry my advice is go elsewhere.

Went here today only because our original venue of choice was too busy. They only had about ten things on their menu so we thought it would be okay. WRONG! My friend ordered a ham and cheese panini with salad and I ordered an English breakfast. My friend had to send hers back as it was so well cooked it would have broken her teeth. My breakfast came with two halves of a tea cake that had come from two different tea cakes and one pat of butter. The hash brown was okay as was the sausage but the beans looked as they’d been overdone in the microwave. The grilled tomato looked as though it had been fried and burnt on the cut side and the fried egg was crispy on the edges with a solid yolk. The bacon was swimming in dark grease underneath which didn’t look good. Oh and did I forget to mention that these meals were served in styrofoam cartons and came with plastic knife and forks wrapped in a damp serviette. My advice? GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS FOR FOOD!! The staff were nice though.

This is a nice pub. They have a good value food menu. Live acts on a Saturday night but is let down on Saturday nights by bad customer service by some staff(not all) and high beer prices (compared to the other bars close by)

Reasonably priced for drinks and live music on a Saturday night which seems to generate a decent crowd.

Le lieu n'a aucun charme particulier, il avait juste le mérite d'être encore ouvert à la sortie de notre spectacle et d'être sur le chemin pour rentrer à l'hôtel. Accueil correct, bon whisky à prix raisonnable. Ambiance bizarre et pas très agréable avec la présence de la police avant l'heure de la fermeture, surement pour aider le personnel à évacuer les dernier clients bien imbibés. Nous avons préféré ne pas trop trainer.

We had been to Bradford, staying at the Great Victoria Hotel for a couple of nights. After being at the Alhambra the previous night to watch a David Bowie tribute act and seeing a 60's, 70's and glam rock night at the Ginger Goose, we thought we would give it a try. The pub is the most modern or smartest looking pub in Bradford, but it is a pub with atmosphere. The bar staff are friendly and try to ensure that you get served in turn and quickly, so there aren't big queues and long waits for a drink. There are some characters in the pub and that's what makes the pub unique and different as well as creating an enjoyable atmosphere. As it got nearer to the time for the band to play, the pub got fuller. The band played songs that most knew ...young and old ... and people were up dancing. It turned out to be a good night, which probably happens most weekends as they advertise turns for all weekends. If you can accept the Ginger Goose for what it is ... an entertainment pub with character, then you will have an enjoyable evening

Visited during a birthday weekend pub crawl of Bradford. Visited on the Saturday night when there was live music on. Felt the music was a bit too loud to hold a conversation with friends but managed to get a table outside where we could talk and enjoy the music at the same time. Thankfully we had good weather!

I ordered a pint of one of my favourite ales Saltaire Blonde and discovered it be warm and flat. I took it back and was basically told I was talking crap. Apparently it was warm because it had been in my hand for 5 minutes and "All real ale is flat mate". Might be cheap at £1.99 a pint but best avoided. A bit like the pub really.

A fantastic pub that has live music on most weekends. A must for all live music fans. Highly recommended.

We came in here between Christmas and new year. Just popped in again and won't ever drink here again. Prices of drinks go up on a Saturday night..?? What..?? Same stained carpet and dirty tables. 4 members of staff serving. ( that I could see). Its not that busy and our table had been like this for more than 20 minutes since we sat down to it. Nearly £8 for 2 pints.!!!

Called in on the way to the theatre for a drink - loads of seating - average priced drinks - what is not to like? You can watch the world go by with those big department store style windows!

Like all the bargain basement pubs in the centre of Bradford, this pub has been " Smithified ". No real ale now. Used to have a good selection. It has been taken over by the hordes of the cheap beer John Smith 's brigade. Shame really - it used to be great. Oh, and by the way, people in charge need to watch their spelling : "rememberance day " on window posters? Try REMEMBRANCE.

This has become one of my favourite pubs in Bradford. Always packed, loud music and sometimes live bands.

I went to this Pub believing that apartheid is behind us wherever, i was surprise by the waitresses behavior toward my son and myself.i asked for a drink and a juice for my son i was told that i need to buy food to have a drink when i just i had a lovely chicken meal from nandos. it was just an excuse to kick us out there as i'm a black person who has a gut to go there.

Amazing live venue, bands on nearly every Saturday, always something going on which is ace! they even do some lovely food and good drinks offers, ace place lovely staff would recommend

This is a very average city centre bar. Nothing to write home about. Shocking bad toilets - best avoided.

Ok, so had a wander around Bradford whilst on business..... didn't expect much in this pub to be honest.... However, the place was clean and staff were on task and polite. Beer was very good and excellent price, but may have been a January promotion:/

Sí, es un pub ruidoso centro de la ciudad, pero es una gran noche. Tanto la música en vivo y DJ tienden a ser Norte de Soul, Ska, Punk, etc de las cosas club estándar en muchos lugares y como yo y mis amigos son de una cierta edad con un interés ávido en ese tipo de música es el lugar perfecto para nosotros. Siempre ocupado cuando otros bares están vacías, así que son claramente haciendo algo bien.

Ginger Goose holds some great live music nights, I have seen a number of wonderful play there, more recently a band called the Solicitors

This is a busy city centre pub with door staff to keep out undesirables. Good for a quick pint or Entertainment if you don't mind the noise.

Over many years of visiting Bradford we have avoided this pub as the exterior gives the impression of not being very clean inside. We have been put off by the smokers hanging around the outside and the appearance of a dark and gloomy interior. However, we decided to try it a while ago and found it to be better than we expected. The food was realistic for anyone wanting a cheap snack or a main meal. It was very packed inside, so obviously serves a large clientele. We found that it was a 'sister' pub to The City Vaults, so it must be reasonable.

To be fair in not a big drinker but the ginger goose caters for all I must admit the place is rocking when the live acts are on plus where else in Bradford is the atmosphere great

Bien la cerveza es bastante barato. Me recuerda un poco de weatherpoons. Parecían ser principalmente los hombres cuando fui. Carreras de caballos en la televisión. Es lo que es y no pretende ser nada más realmente. No es por ofender a nadie, pero no es mi favorito pub en Bradford. Aunque muchos no gusta, y saludos a aquellos que hacer.

Visitamos en agosto de 2016 y dirigida por el pub después de una buena noche en el wetherspoons local. El Green Goose es de un buen tamaño con un montón de asientos. Había una banda de reggae en vivo esa noche y que sin duda tenía la gente en la palma de su mano. Muchas personas estaban bailando en la zona justo en frente del bar así que conseguir algunas bebidas era una cuestión de tejido a través de un montón de bailarines feliz, pero estaba bien. Las bebidas tienen una buena relación calidad-precio aquí, aprovechamos un 3 cervezas en botella para una oferta, disfrutando de Becks fiver Budweiser y Carlsberg (aunque también entre las opciones). Todo lo que puedo decir sobre el verde del Ganso es que es un lugar divertido para estar con un ambiente muy bueno. La banda era muy buena, así como la música que sigue. La edad de la mayoría de los juerguistas grupo tal vez estaba en el rango de 30, pero había gente joven en. Ahora disfrutamos de una noche en Bradford, sin recomendar la ciudad de heartlily otros - era un gran lugar para ir de fiesta.

Un gran centro de pub de la ciudad con un sports bar Wetherspoons/sentir. Tuve un par de pintas con un compañero aquí antes de coger el tren a casa. Fue una noche entre semana, y el lugar no estaba muy lleno, aunque la mayoría de los clientes parecía bastante sloshed. Terminamos bebiendo cervezas licores como la apelación no especialmente. Bueno, pero nada especial.

City centre pub good for cheap shopping trip lunch or tea in town. Can get busy on sunny weekends, match days or when there is sport of some kind on one of the many TVs.

this place gets busy with those that like to drink all day at rock bottom prices...you get what you pay for....ok in the morning but probably gets worse as the day goes on...sticky carpets,,but nice big TV screens all around.

The ginger goose based on market street very close to the train station n bus stationeasy to find plus also facing the town hall it was two very big rooms one down stairs and the other upstairs for partys n other stuff very pleasant staff very well catered for plus you can eat your dinner with a good view

On my first trip here i found the place to be lovely, really friendly bar staff couldnt do enough for you, food was top notch, i even stayed to watch the band with my partner... excellent entertainment, i will definitely be back.

Big TV screens for the football & beer a decent price. Bar staff very good and friendly. Upstair function room worth a visit and catering was very good.

Realmente no sabíamos qué esperar cuando fuimos a una de las noches de música de ganso de jengibre. Hemos escuchado un montón de buenas críticas de entretenimiento y bebidas asequibles, que no fue decepcionante. La primera cosa que nos hizo cuando entramos en el bar alrededor de las 9 pm fue la fiesta como ambiente y zona privilegiada de música. No se esfuerzan mucho por lo que realmente quería que nuestro pelo abajo en esta noche en particular, y nosotros lo hicimos! El DJ fue excelente, el bar era grande y bien atendido, había una señora que estaba un poco demasiado Tipsy en el bar, ella era tranquilamente conducido por un doorlady de 'mujer ... lo bueno que era ver que ... no sabía que tal cosa! La señora y su amiga la izquierda tranquilamente. La banda era llamado SNAPP ... estupendo y realmente nos llevaron de regreso ... Qué noche genial ... Volveremos y difundir la palabra ... Incluso nos dijeron que espectáculo durante el día también ... cómo loco que!!

Paramos para tomar un aperitivo antes de ir a un espectáculo y disfrutamos de una cerveza. Había una buena selección de cervezas en oferta, había un DJ tocando una buena variedad de música que creó un buen ambiente.

Llamado en un sábado por la noche temprano, la cerveza era agradable y el DJ estaba tocando una buena selección de música. La única pega los caballeros toliets apestaba incluso antes de que usted se abrió la puerta y cuando dentro de la planta era empapados con wc y suelo. Una pena porque era un agradable pub

No está mal en mi opinión. Fui a ver el fútbol en un domingo por la tarde. Es un enorme pub y estaba muy lleno cuando fui. El servicio era bueno y la lager estaba bien y es muy barato. El ambiente era un poco crispado, pensé. Me sentados en la esquina y vimos el partido y no tuvimos ningún problema de nadie, pero me dio la impresión de que tienes que tener cuidado que usted hizo contacto visual con. Era mi primera visita, y una vez su cara, es conocido, es probablemente mucho más amable
