My second visit and I brought my daughter with me this time. She loves it here as much as I do now. We enjoyed our gin and a sharing platter. Such a fabulous choice of gins and each one has been carefully paired with a mixer and garnish.

Visit every time we are in Shrewsbury. located upstairs in the market. Great location, great selection of gins, and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic bar man. Visited August and the new Gin menu had some great finds, very different ( as it is so called)The meat platter goes well with the gins and everything is locally sourced from within the market itself. In these strange times they have made it very safe and remains comfortable. If you love gins then go, if you're new to gin then go - you will be expertly guided through the menu. All the gins are served with carefully chosen botanicals/garnish.Have introduced many people to this location as we love it. A must visit if your in town , oh and they have some great bottled beers and ciders..

Popped past here whilst visiting the market. Decided it would be rude not to sample some of the Gin. We were guided through the menu depending on our gin preferences before being given excellent recommendations and opted for 2 local gins to try. Great choice served properly with garnishes. Quirky place which is warm and inviting. Lovely way to relax on a Saturday afternoon after shopping.

Of all the restaurants and bars I've visited in more than 60 countries, there are a handful that stay in the memory - albeit for many different reasons: whether it's the setting, the food or tthe company. But the ones that stand out are the unexpected gems - the places not known, discovered accidently and that have provided the very best of experiences. And this is one of those.Wandering around Shrewsbury Market for the first time, and at the end of a long day's shop visiting, we came across this little corner of heaven up on the gallery of the Market Hall. Quirky. Well stocked, with over 50 gins. A snack menu, primarily reflecting all the very best of locally produced foods: cheeses, cured meats, sourdough bread and pickles. The one member of staff was happy to share their knowledge of the many gins lining the shelves - and to recommend "something different". Well worth the risk!!!!Just three complaints: firstly, this gin heaven is far to distant from where I live, so a return visit will be delayed for far too long. Secondly, they close at 5. And finally, my wife has now converted into a dedicated gin drinker, so the fine and rare bottles I have accumulated are fast disappearing.

Well after many days of contemplating visiting this Quirky Pop-Up Gin Bar in the Shrewsbury Market Hall, at long last we made it yesterday. Stunning range of Gins which are listed on the menu in 3 price bands, with details of tonic and additives to go with each gin. Enjoyed the doubles we tried and will be back in the very near future

My Partner and I visited gindifferent on a grey rainy day in Shrewsbury, but felt immediately at home and welcome with the lovely owner who was friendly, chatty and extremely knowledgeable in what he does. He took the time to suggest beers I may like based on my preferences and did the same with my partner with gin choices. He told us about what events they had on and we were genuinely disappointed we didn't live close enough to come more often!

I had previously been put off gin whilst at a gin tasting at a former work place, however the gentleman behind the bar talked us through the different drinks. I went for the bathtub gin with the aromatic tonic garnished with orange and pink pepper. Highly recommend!

we had a group of 7 girls (ok ladies), and were celebrating 5 birthdays! The event was a surprise for the 5 and we were all thrilled. Lovley atmosphere, great information on the Gin and yummy food platter. Thank you Darren for a lovely afternoon, very attentive and you deserve a medal for putting up with a somewhat unruly bunch!

Late opening at the Shrewsbury market so we booked a meal at another venue (see my separate review for Barkworths seafood) so we arrived early for a gin and a walk round the stalls. A bewilderingly large choice of gins with well thought out menu of suggested preparations/ accompanying garnishes, styles of tonic, etc. Other drinks are available but why go to a gin bar for anything else? During the day they serve in stemmed glasses with loads of ice but fir the evening browsing the market it was paper cups( huge paper cups-I’m pleased to say!). Very good experience and not too pricey. Great alternative to a beer in a local pub.

Called in on a lunchtime and although the bar was not busy the warm welcome of the staff more than compensated for this. I chose a rhubarb and ginger gin while my friend had a singapore sling. They were ace and we will be back!

I’d heard about this bar on and off for the last few months. Didn’t think it would be what I was looking for- how wrong was I. The bar is located on the top floor of the Market Hall but don’t let this put you off going. The range of gins is enormous and their expert advice on what to have with each Gin is invaluable. We had a great time trying a few different guns with unexpected mixers - gin with ginger beer?? Try it, it’s excellent. We will be back regularly..

We had a great time at Gindifferent. The drinks we ordered were delicious and made exceptional well. The bar team really know their stuff and were happy to discuss tastes and make some great reccomendations. They were really friendly and we had a great time. The platter we had was delicious with lovely bread and some great chorizo( I think that's what it was, delicious cured meats that's for sure). All in it was a fantastic experience and to go with the market is a great place to check out too. I would definitely say that Gindifferent is a must visit in Shrewsbury

Great small restaurant with an interesting lunch menu. The food is described fined for sharing and 2 or 3 plates are recommended. I had Danish frikkedellar, my husband had pork belly. Both beautifully presented small lunch portions. The coffee was good, the service unobtrusive and the views from the outside terrace are also good. Not fast food, but stunnngly good food. Also. A good stop for coffee and cake, or Fika.

Tonight Tim brought us the Pork special in breadcrumbs with veg, a bacon and mushroom risotto ,bolognaise and piquant prawn starters with a delicious creamy rice pudding for afters. All were hot and delicious. What a treat to have a home delivery and be able to enjoy food without the washing up.Highly recommended if you live in or near Ludlow. Thanks to Chef Nick, the lovely Deborah and of course, Tim.

Ambers Pizza Co was one of the top recommendations for places to eat in Oswestry by our B&B host Michael at Nant Gloyw. The pizza's were superb, reasonably priced and the service quick and friendly. As well as traditional toppings they also had some unusual, but delicious alternatives. I had a Moroccan lamb merguez pizza, which had tomato, mozzarella, spiced lamb mince, red onions, fresh coriander, yoghurt with mint and pomegranate seeds. As well as pizza they had a range of other dishes which looked tempting, including some delicious sounding desserts.

Met up with friends for lunch and was not disappointed. The cafe was clean, and comfortable with a lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious, and loads of vegan/vegetarian choices. A feast for both mouth and eyes! Would highly recommend to anyone.
