It is a fantastic and unique place to eat, drink, and socialise. Andy and Sue are brilliant hosts, and the venue has a very chilled atmosphere. The food is fantastic and it's a highly recommended place to visit.

Went for dinner with 2 friends. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we set foot inside the door. The owners were helpful and attentive all evening. The menu and options were explained fully for us and the sharing board was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend going there.

Such an intimate and cosmopolitan atmosphere. I can't recommend the place highly enough. My friend and I shared the chilli platter. We have good appetites and worried there may not be enough for us both, but crumbs, their platters are very generous. Ours came with chips, nachos, dips, rice, chilli and garlic bread, all of which were yummy. We spied their charcuterie and burger platters being brought to other diners and they looked bloody yummy too. It's a testament to the place that all that were there the evening we went had to be kicked out as the place was closing. None of us wanted to leave. We've definitely found our new favourite spot. If you haven't been, you're missing out. 🍲 🍹

What a wonderful little find, fantastic food, Sue and Andy are very friendly and knowledgeable about their lovely wines. We dropped in to celebrate our wedding anniversary what a truly special experience. Thank you we will be back soon Steve and Sue🥂

Very attentive Clean Nice food Good atmosphere 👌

Been before for just drinks and this time for food. Did not disappoint we had the most wonderful time. 5 of us for 30th birthday celebrations had the whole bar to ourselves. The hosts were both so attentive from giving drink and food suggestions, keeping the drinks topped up,allowing us to choose the music and even helped ensure we had pictures of us all to remember the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and plentyful. If you want a place to go with the girls, date night or private party definately reccomend !!

Awesome food and atmosphere lovely place

Simply amazing!! Food was outstanding and so tasty I can’t wait to go back !! The atmosphere was calm and warm and everyone was chatting and enjoying themselves. Service was superb and the gentleman behind the bar was chatty, funny and very welcoming!! The portions are very generous!! The menu is simple but they have nailed it as you know the saying…. Less is more !! But when I say less is more that applies to the menu not the boards as the portions are massive!!! Owners are lovely and put us at ease and I would highly recommend!! Just remember to book .

I had a great afternoon there, the staff were lovely very friendly, great atmosphere good beer good food happy dayz I certainly will go there again.

One word comes to mind Faultless Just celebrated a 30th birthday with afternoon tea, owners very friendly, food amazing and first class service. Highly recommend this bar (booking only for afternoon tea, guaranteed you will not be disappointed). Thank you so much,we will all be back

Shocked made to feel very unwelcome

Our hosts were superb, great food and very good English rosé. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is a real find. Wonderful staff who make you so welcome, and introduce you to the local community. Really solid English wines (amongst other countries produce), and a really interesting selection of draft beers and gins. Absolutely recommended.

Absolute little gem of a place. Fabulous food, amazing service. Staff are lovely. I was there for a surprise party it was brilliant. Well worth trying.

Great for wine and a sharing platter with friends

Fab stop off today on our way home. 56 in Oswestry turned out to be a real gem. Staff were really friendly, food fab, I kid you not. It's a must go to. The ladies even helped us pick out the best wedding invitation designs. Love it love it love it.

Came across the great little bar today - whist visiting the food fayre in Oswestry will certainly call in again - had a lovely welcome by the staff and customers

What a beautiful little wine bar. After travelling up from Swansea Sue and staff were so friendly and welcoming, and always popping over to see if everything was ok, would definitely recommend if you are ever in the area

A chic place with excellent selection of wines and boards. We had a cheese board and some drinks, service was swift, friendly and efficient. A great place for a date or drinks with friends.

Fabulous evening. Suzie personalised the boards for us as vegetarians with a great spread of different delicious things. Lovely chilled place to while away some time with friends.

Our son and son in-law had there Salons Anniversary last night and 56 were wonderful . Warm and welcoming . Definitely will go again. Thank you to all .
