We went to Ambers having booked for a Saturday evening. On arrival it was busy which is a great sign and we were shown to our table. It's a nice intimate space and we were looking forward to our food. Unfortunately we were obviously sat in the sweep of the air conditioning unit which was giving an unpleasantly cold draught. I was wearing a cardigan over the top of long sleeves and was still cold. There was a group of young women with no sleeves but they were out of the sweep! I asked the waitress would it be possible just to change the temperature or stop the sweep as it was cold to which she sarcastically replied "It's hot, it's not cold'. The people on the table adjacent to us both had sweatshirts on....so maybe working it was warm but sitting it was cold. I was a little taken back by her snappy response and said nothing more. We ordered our food and the waitress then made a show of holding the remote for the air conditioner and stopping the sweep. As she put it down she said ' it's so hot' angrily and swept back past us. I felt very uncomfortable with her attitude but said nothing more. We ordered the garlic pesto bread tear and share which arrived looking amazing. It was lovely but disappointingly neither of us could taste the garlic as the pesto was strong. However, the dough was beautiful and the balsamic a nice addition. Our pizzas then arrived and looked great with puffy edges. I had ordered the goats cheese with red onion. Sadly the whole of the middle of my pizza was wet and although the taste was ok the texture was soggy. My husband had chosen a different one which was better but still wet. I ate it as I was starving and to be honest, I didn't want to say anything to the waitress as it was clear what kind of response I would have had. We had some fries between us and to be honest those are expensive for what you get but they were tasty. We didn't have dessert and chose to go elsewhere for that. Maybe we just caught it wrong but with this experience we won't be going back, it was disappointing for the reasons stated.

Absolutely delicious pizza and the atmosphere is superb.

Ordered for collection and the process was so easy, I was able to customise my pizza with extra toppings and everything was delicious. Don’t skip on the Pesto Aoili, perfect for dipping crusts in!

Pizza was very very tasty. The dough was very thin, however the edges weren’t crispy, and I would expect that. We didn’t wait long. Service very good.

Lovely atmosphere nice and chilled. Some fabulous pizzas and food to be eaten with a good bottle of wine. Take a good friend and enjoy the relaxed Vibe.

We were staying in a b&b in Oswestry and the vegetarian owners recommended Amber's to us. Obviously they cater well for vegetarians vegans and meat eaters like myself as well as providing low gluten options. Wonderful atmosphere great staff and fantastic food.

Popped in for brunch and whoever came up with the idea of using a folded pizza base to make a BLT is a genius! Couldn't fault it at all.

Without doubt the best pizza you will find in Oswestry. If you want to sit in then book a table to avoid disappointment. There is nothing you can complain about, lovely little restaurant, good service and great food.

I recently visited Amber's Pizzeria, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic! The traditional Neapolitan pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with a great balance of flavors. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. Popped in for a late lunch of Caesar salad and 2 pizzas - everything was very fresh and tasty and service was super friendly. A little oasis when lots of places were closed as it was nearly 3pm.

Had the eggs benedict this morning. Very nice and a top notch hollandaise sauce. Friendly service for a relaxing brunch before heading back to work.

Excellent pizza. Well worth a visit

Visited here after seeing a deal on FB £6 pizza before 6pm on a Thursday and thought at this price we would give it a try and we weren't disappointed. Lovely pizza would totally recommend definitely be back there again soon .

After many visits, I can safely say that it's pizza to die for. The best take on Neapolitan pizza I ever had outside of Naples, and it would even stand up to its competition there

Fantastic pizzas and what a choice and from dining here I have discovered new ingredients and flavour combinations to savour. Who else could put Morrocan lamb on a pizza. You must absolutely try their hot honey sauce !!! Wow !!!! During lockdown, Amber was our saviour delivering pizzas to our fantastic local, internationally known Orthopaedic Hospital feeding the essential workers during a very difficult time. You must go there !!! Joolz

Ordered Korean wings and the Salami pizza. Wings were so so, however, thats not why i went. The Salami pizza was Slammin' They do a serious dough with really nice quality toppings. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

What an absolute Gem. Our first visit following a friends reccomendation. After a little confusion regarding our booking which was resolved quickly we where shown to our table. The vibe in here is distinctive and slightly bohemian. Table service was excellent polite friendly efficient staff. We ordered pizza. It no exaggeration to say this was without doubt the best I've ever had. Wonderful tasting food. In short if I can't get my pizza from Amber's the next time I fancy one I won't bother. Can't wait to try again, maybe lunchtime next. We didn't have much time to spare so we only had the pizza. We shall be back without a doubt

Have always loved Ambers, has such a homely and warm feel to the restaurant, some of the best pizzas we've ever had, and whenever we eat pizzas elsewhere we always see 'yeah but its no Ambers pizza is it...!'

I have been waiting to visit Amber's for a long time. It was well worth the anticipation. To have pizza this good in Oswestry we are very lucky. Place looks good too appropriate for a work's doo, date night or family meal....just as a good pizza place should be. Staff were outstanding, food was excellent. Even better it catered for the vegans and non vegans with equal skill. No wonder it's fully booked so often!

Longing to go back to Venice but until then Ambers is the best..

Consistently good pizza. Eat from here regularly, maybe 80/20% takeaway/dine in. Staff professional and friendly, nice environment and atmosphere, pizza and sides are stunning. Occasionally have deserts which are also really good. Also occasionally there’s a bit more of a wait because it’s busy but it’s busy for a reason and I don’t mind.

Wow, best pizza I have ever had, simple as that. A lovely bubbly stone baked pizza. My girlfriend had the gluten free base and it tasted as good! Amazing customer service, amazing food, already planning our next visit back!

We went for a meal at Amber's last Saturday night during our short stay in Oswestry. The pizzas were delicious. A fantastic range of toppings to choose from, generous with them too, and all obviously high quality. I had the firestarter which was amazing. Make sure you order the homemade aioli dip too. Very reasonably priced too. Next time we want to try the starters and puddings as they looked delicious but were just too full!

Another visit to Amber’s. This time to sample the new brunch menu. We had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Probably the best ive had. Made with fresh hollandaise. Coffee is awesome too. Always good service. Thanks guys! Finally a restaurant in Oswestry who knows their pizza. I’ve visited Naples on many occasions and Ambers is up there with the best. All their dough is made in house, you can see the chefs working and hand stretching the dough, which my wife particularly liked. The crusts are light & airy, the base thin & floppy. Just the way Neapolitan pizza is meant to be! Authentic toppings. Lots of charcuterie. Also a vegan menu I believe. There’s something for everyone. But if your looking for bland, tasteless pizza that looks like cardboard it’s perhaps not for you. Superb place. Keep up the good work guys. You are a credit to the town.

It was one of the best authentic neapolitan pizzas I've had. Lovely thin base with a soft pillowy crust. Decent size pizza with generous toppings. Definitely recommend 👌

Perfect venue to celebrate my husband's 40th with friends! Private-hire meant we had plenty of space for everyone and it was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas were amazing, and so were the cocktails. Staff/service was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Best pizza outside of Sorrento!

Love the pizza but if you are going to limit the time we sit at the table please could you have speedier service so I'm not rushing my dessert.

Best pizza and service in the area 🙌 thanks to Will for firstly taking a phonecall and fitting us in, then just offering the friendliest (but genuine friendliness) service. He made us both feel super welcome and was accommodating with the menus and our awkward requests. We had marg, vegan sausage (Ndujo?) and watermelon salad and it was all deeeeelicious. The girl behind the bar was also super friendly. We then had pudding because we wanted to stay for longer and the Biscoff homemade cheesecake was light, fluffy and tasty!!! Could tell it was homemade - yum. Will - get the team to come whitewater rafting in Llangollen for some staff bonding 😀 We came for the pizza and left wanting Will.

Really love this place. I've been three times now. Pizza is always really fresh, love the specials they have every week, love trying new combos! Staff are lovely. Would reccomend booking a table however.

Wonderful pizzas, drinks and service. We popped in last minute on Thursday and had The firestarter and curry special pizzas. Both were delicious and then gorgonzola salad was the perfect side. Staff were great and the guest ale on tap was also really tasty, like a better version of brewdog hazy Jane. Thanks for a lovely evening

I visit Amber's Reguarly and the Pizza, atmosphere and service is always 5 star. I visited with my hockey team, there were 15 of us and the staff were attentive and friendly. All of the food was served promptly and piping hot. Thank you!

Unfortunately our experience was not great here today, due to poor, unfriendly service and salty pizza. This is a shame as we love to support local businesses.

Everything about Amber's is lovely. The premises are not pretentious, the menu is sensible, the prices are reasonable and the pizza is amazing. We've had the opportunity to both dine here and order pizzas to takeaway and the quality and service has been consistently excellent. We will without question be returning very soon.

I booked using the booking system and received a confirmation email, only to arrive and be told that they don’t have us on their system. I showed them the booking confirmation on my phone and they had no interest in seeing that as they were fully booked for the rest of the night. So myself and my friend were left at 7 o’clock on a Saturday evening with no where to eat. We had an apology which simply wasn’t good enough especially when I had the email for proof I had booked. Massively disappointing and has put me off ever returning back here. So if you’re using their booking system be aware you may have your confirmation email but they will have no table for you on arrival. This really did ruin our night when we had been looking forward to it all day.

Was told they did gluten free pizzas but when we looked at the menu it said not suitable for coeliacs? Lovely place but was confused on why there would be gluten free options that didn’t actually support gluten intolerances.

I've not eaten in Amber's yet but had take out twice now. Its become our 'Go To' for Pizza nights at home. The choice is fantastic and the pizzas are amazingly tasty. If you love thin stone baked pizza with lots of flavour then this place is definitely for you. Plus point... service, even for a collection, is wonderful. Very friendly, lovely staff.

This is superb pizza. I run a pizza company myself and was impressed with the quality. The dough is spot on, the pesto and sour cream dips were amazing and far better than you normally get in most restaurants. The goats cheese option was really nice and I’m not normally one for goats cheese. 100% recommend if you’re looking for authentic wood fired pizza in the area

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in the UK. Loads of lovely choices and great selection of drinks. Pizzas are authentic Neapolitan style and so delicious. Great options for kids and also really tasty gluten free pizza options too. Highly recommended!
