These guys do a decent coffee at a very reasonable price. Maria, the weekend barista, is lovely knocks out a cracking flat white. Being an outdoor hut, you're at the mercy of the elements while ordering, but on a good day, this is a nice setting for a relaxing coffee...

This review needs to be taken in context of a satisfied regular customer - I've been coming here every weekday for the last 3 years. The baristas are passionate and geeky about their coffee. They always have a guest coffee ready to grind and the "house" blend, usually redbrick, makes a consistently good espresso. They've got a really great spot in fortune street park, so worth the diversion from whitecross street market when it gets too busy. The savoury muffins are really good.

Giddy Up Coffee is a hidden gem in the heart of Barbican. It's tucked away in a quaint park which often fills up with mums and their strollers in the morning. The coffee is decent and is one of the better ones you'll find in the area. It's a tad exxy but well worth it if it means avoiding Pret or the free Waitrose coffee you'd otherwise queue for. The lads that work here are friendly and are genuinely passionate about their coffee so you know it's going to be a decent drop. They have a small selection of home baked goods which is always tempting (Nutella and banana muffin anyone?). Oh, it's more of a kiosk so you won't find indoor seating so I'd recommend swinging by mid morning or after lunch to soak up the elusive London sunshine.

Poor customer service, I had better encebollado, seafood soup, and definitely better hornado. Menu prices way to expensive and poor taste.

Nice local breakfast spot. We were the only tourists on the day we visited. We all had the English Breakfast set- 2 with vegetarian sausages. The meal was delicious and filling. The cafe is small and
