What an excellent restaurant, great food, lovely staff. Not hurried service... definitely worth a visit

Gorgeous little cafe in John Street. I pop into this place regularly. The coffee and the food are top notch. The staff are lovely too. Just be aware they are closed on Mondays.

The waitress has zero percent in personality, it really felt like she did not want to be there. She's always the same, every time we go. Food was very bland, needed more seasoning. Hadn't been for a few years but thought we'd give it another try, won't go back. There are other Italian restaurants in the area that have much better food and better staff. The whole venue could do with a refurb too.

It is a few years since our last visit and it didn’t disappoint.We didn’t have a booking and it was a Saturday evening but the staff kindly managed to find us a table.The service is brilliant.Speedy delivery of food and very attentive.The food was delicious and plenty on offer for vegans.

Had a lovely lasagne followed by 3 enormous profiteroles with a rich chocolate sauce. Everyone was very happy with their food and the environment and staff was warm & friendly. Plenty of delisious looking option to chose from and the complementary bread and black olive & garlic tapinard were really nice. Lots of family groups as well and almost full which is always a good sign.

My wife took me to Brio for dinner on 26th Aug for my birthday. Quality of food 10/10! We had the calzone (with some extra chicken) and also the veal. Wonderful. Wine wise the bottles of red start at around £30 we shared the merlot and it was light and refreshing and for us went perfectly. Thank you, we will be visiting again!

Pizza King's are CONSISTENTLY THE BEST takeway around. Food is ALWAYS early. and top quality.

Gianni’s is an amazing place to go for some italian food!! All staff are incredible and we had a really friendly welcome. Both me and my partner have nut allergies and this was understood and staff were very good with handling this. Would definitely recommend eating here!! Thank you Gianni Brio’s!!!

Having lived in Harrogate for almost 10 years, we decided to try a different Italian Restaurant. We decided on Gianni's Brio on Kings Road. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff welcomed us and were attentive. We had Pane Speciale to start, it was delicious. I had Polla alla Crema - The roast potatoes were outstanding - Just like my mum used to make. My partner had Pappardelle Romagnola, he said it was amazing. We don't normally accept the added service charge (10%) but we felt on this occasion it was worth it. We will be back.

Superb authentic Italian food, excellent Seafood pasta, really flavourful. The owner is a character and takes time to come and chat to all the diners. Service is good - friendly but not intrusive, and fast and attentive. Very good value as well.

We always come here when we visit Harrogate and it never disappoints, the service is excellent and the food is delicious, my only negative would be that it was all too quick, only just finished the starter when the main arrived, I think there should be a small break between courses. The restaurant was very busy but a nice atmosphere.

I had not been to this restaurant for a couple of years and now I've rediscovered it I will definitely be going again because the main course and dessert I had were both delicious. I arrived at 7pm, the restaurant was already, at least, two thirds full so it is obviously very popular and I can understand why. The menu is very varied and offers prices to suit most people's pockets. I had half a lager £4.90, a pasta main course £18.95 and a dessert £7.30 so total £31 good value for money for excellent dishes. The interior is attractively designed, the staff were welcoming and super efficient. We didn't have long to wait for our food and the waiter brought us a couple of jugs of water on request. Everyone in the group enjoyed their food.

Although the price was on the expensive side, the food definitely was worth that price.

A return visit to Gianni's and another immensely enjoyable dining experience. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. The lobster ravioli from the daily special menu was simply sublime. Can't recommend Gianni's highly enough.

The best italian in town, quality food with great portion sizes. The array of options is a testement to the skills of the chefs with every dish being delivered in an excellent fashion. Been visting with family and friends for a long time, its always reliable and a delight. We love visiting Brios.

Best pizza in Liverpool, better than dominoes and Pizza Hut! Garlic bread is like nothing I’ve tasted before, unreal food. Always piping hot and tastes fresh and put together with care, will order again and again

Shared an amazing meal as an extended family of eight, including two boisterous children aged 9 and 5. Was made to feel extremely welcomed from the moment we entered the resturant. The waiting staff got the right balance between being very attentive, but not stifling. Each course was brought out at the right pace, so the whole experience was unhurried and crested an at home feel. We really enjoyed this resturant and would definitely return. Would have taken photos of the food but was too busy enjoying eating it and the company of loved ones.

Absolutely amazing! The service was second to none and the food was superb. We will definitely be back as there is so much to choose from and the staff are wonderful.

Great restaurant with outstanding waiters and food. We visited with 2 kids who enjoyed their meals, one had the kids menu whilst the other had a pizza. Garlic bread to start was really good, we then had lasagne and pasta again which was outstanding. Waiters went above and behind to make everyone feel comfortable. Highly recommended

I have been using pizza kings for the past few years and they are constantly good , my wife is a very fussy eater and she can never fault the chicken n lamb kebab. Pizzas are always excellent 👌 well done guys

Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was empty except for ourselves plus one other couple. I was very surprised, The food as always was delicious we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was excellent. We shall definitely return.

food didn't arrive, spoke to the restaurant who said it was around the corner an hour later they'd lost our order absolute joke my kids waited 2 hours for us to have order elsewhere and have to wait again never will we order from here again

Unbelievable chicken baguette and the jacket potato was nice but way too much cheese. Good, hot food.

I ordered two 1/2 lbs Scouse Burgers which are meant to be topped with Donner Meat however there was no Donner meat on them. The restaurant could have phoned and asked if I wanted a different topping on the burger if they had a shortage on supply of donner meat but they didn't do this. I am a regular customer and think that in relation to things like this that the restaurant should improve their customer service on this level as my phone number is always supplied when I order via just eat.

Really disappointed in last nights order. The cheese burger was full of thick red onion, a bit of soggy lettuce and 1x slice of cucumber and 1x slice of tomatoe, the cherry on the cake there was no bbq sauce I asked for. The pizza box was handed to me at the door horizontally so one side was squashed and stuck to the box. I payed for 2x portions of pineapple and there was barely 1 piece on each slice and just full of jalapeños.

The food was horrendous! the calzone smelt so bad from the off meat inside it when opened up to see what the smell was, inside was just a pile of horrendous smelling meet and dough stretched so far over the mound of meat that it couldn’t even be picked up.

No off days with Brio's. Every visit you can rely on a 1st class delicious meal, Service and Wine. Try the lamb!

We had a fantastic Sunday evening, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely superb. The restaurant was full without being frantic, many guests seemed to be repeat customers and we could see why - we'll also be back!

Pretty unhelpful to say the least poor booking procedure bothered about pre filling restaurant not the actual Customers plenty of other options did want our money un attentive on entry . Not we we expected with it been underneath the apartment we stayed in not even offer of take out !

Its a nice place but the food is very expensive and quite small dishes I ordered spaghetti with meatballs for20£ Very small amount of pasta and enough meatballs For this price I expect to get a decent amount of pasta

We had a very frosty reception and to be honest, almost walked back out. Aside from this particular staff member, the rest of the team were highly professional and service was excellent. One of the best pasta dishes I've had. Will definitely go back. Hopefully the greeting will be warmer in future. Am glad we didn't walk out.

My family and I (17of us) recently visited this fantastic restaurant for my son’s 21st birthday. The food, service and atmosphere was 10/10. I cannot fault anything. Nothing was too much trouble from the communication before hand and on the night. Would highly recommend! The most delicious, freshly cooked food. Thank you 🤩

I had a lasagne last night in this establishment and it was very nice. It was great timing as the restaurant had just started to empty out with people going to an event across the road. Around about 7pm. Great timing to get a table and enjoy a little quieter atmosphere to eat in. Food was fantastic what I like to think is original Italian. Service was great and a nice beer and coffee to finish the meal off. Ill be back.

Wrong burger sent, food cold and was 25 mins late.

We visit Harrogate a few times a year for over the last 5 years. We’ve never eaten here until this latest trip. This was our second time eating here in the last four days. The first night I ordered chicken, potatoes, and mixed veg. My partner ordered the pasta and meat balls followed by ice cream… The second night (tonight) , I ordered the melanzane and a salad side, my partner had the lasagne and salad side followed by ice cream… The first night the food was excellent with good portions . I decided not to have a desert or drink after. The second night , I ordered the melanzane which when I’ve had this at other restaurants and at Ho e it doesn’t contain pasta? This to me was a vegetable pasta with an exceptional sauce. My partners lasagne fell short of his expectations! The portion was very small and underwhelming. I decided to order a cappuccino with oat milk whilst my partner had his desert. To my surprise the restaurant doesn’t have an alternative milk option!! This is very disappointing by today’s standards. Does this mean that all,of there deserts are made with milk?? Not good for such a good standard restaurant. Overall … it’s a lovely place and the food is quality however, for the price I believe it depends on what you order, and I don’t think they carter very well for vegetarians.

Incredible high quality simple ingredients. The lamp chops are incredible. All the seafood on the frito Misto was cooked so well. Wonderful staff in a very busy environment.

Great Delivery time, unfortunately the chips had no flavour and they was cold. The burgers were okay.

Based on previous reviews on Trip Adviser we decided to book a table at Gianni’s during a recent visit to Harrogate and wasn’t disappointed. The place was buzzing from the moment we walked through the door and was shown to our table by our friendly waitress. Both our meals tasted great and arrived in good time without feeling rushed. We will absolutely visit again the next time we’re in the area.

This place is fantastic. We love going here for food. Marco and his team are just amazing always smiling and greeted with a warm welcome. Love it.

Popped in for a steak dinner and had a great night just me and my son. Delicious starters of dough balls and calamari then 2 outstanding ribeyes with fries veg and zucchini fritti, knock out! Service was great, even my 11yr old said “these guys are amazing, Gianni and Marco the owners working the tables to say hi! Proper Italian family restaurant! Grazie, tutto bene 👌
