Ghandi Tandoori in Greenwich

Due to covid we were unable to visit in the restaurant so thought we would get a takeaway. When I called, the Staff were so helpful and friendly. The food arrived on time and I must say this was the most tastiest takeaway we have ever had! The flavours were wonderful! We will be ordering again very soon!

Food was cold and did not taste ver nice . I had a chicken korma , the chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like pure butter . Would not eat here again.

Chappatis were lovely but The lamb makhani was extremely sweet.

We've tried the biryanis before and they were good. If you want to be surprized/dazzled, order an egg parantha. The paneer tikka was under cooked (chunks were too huge).

Was looking for a different curry so I tried this place as hygiene rating was good. Tbh I just found the food bland. The meat was flavourless, rice was soggy and overall was not a joy to eat. Good service otherwise

Food piping hot, and very good, also glad to see Paratha's in a paper bag, which is far better than those foil lined ones which made them go soggy. Shall look forward to our next meal from you.

i mean i had better indian food the taste was jus bland and didnt have any flavour felt like something was missing

Rice and naan were good. The chicken tikka was full of sugar and very sweet.

Hot food on arrival. Tasted great. Delivery was an hour but we were warned it would be, so they didn't disappoint us.

The quality of the food was ok, nothing special. There way too much curry powder in the sauce and it stained my napkins and tray. Awful!

Ok so perhaps the decor isn't as modern as Tandoori Kennington, but the staff were attentive, polite and very swift to assist wherever necessary. The food was much better than the Indian we have been visiting for many years. (Mumbai Delight - Vauxhall, which in my opinion over time has fallen below the mark). The food was good, although toward the end the chicken seemed to have dried out in the sauce in my madras. I guess chicken fillets (as opposed to thighs) if these were used are quite dry unless cooked carefully. I would go back here again regardless of the slightly dried out chicken in the madras because actually, its quite a calming ambience and as I say, the staff aren't rude or aloof like that at Tandoori Kennington.

The curry was basically a spicy oily soup into which four chunks of chicken had been placed. Everything else was fine but the curry itself was poor. Sauce should have been thicker, more chicken, less oil, more flavour. Definitely over-priced.

Popadoms were stale unfortunately but apart from that food was spot on

Ordered from here many times and we've chosen it as our local the food is delicious and always fresh.

Worst Indian I have ever ordered: it was delivered 2 hours after we placed the order and 30 minutes after the delivery time specified. Driver did not speak English and could not find our address. We called the restaurant who were very unhelpful and refused to refund part of our order.

I ordered a chicken tikka missals and the meat was NOT chicken. More like an over-cooked beef. Sauce was runny.

Food arrived hot and on time. The mains (Achari lamb & chicken tikka rezala) were a little oily, but not excessively. Food was good, but lacked a little something to make it great. Will certainly use them again though.

Great food again, fresh tasty and great value

Most of the food come on time but there was some missing. I rang them right away and they said it will be there in 10 minutes, after waiting for 30 minutes I rang back to try and find out what's going on. The man on the phone said we are busy so you have to wait, I pointed out we have been waiting for over 30 minutes now for the rest of the food and he replied well we are busy you have to wait. We ended up with the food 50 minutes overall and I point out we live 5 minutes drive away.

I’ve ordered from here twice and the food is wonderful but both times delivery has been very slow. At least 30 minutes past due time.

Gave us two of same dish. Tastes different then normal And normally get mint sauce but none

This restaurant is the nearest to my gaff a bit surprised that they were later than specified time on the app. driver got lost /confused at my estate, food was good now served in large containers with good size portions. sure will order again. value for money YES

Very good Indian,tasty food. Some Indian Restaurants in the South can be a bit on the bland side but this one is just the job. Good food, well prepared and friendly staff. There is also the occasional sprinkling of celebrities that pop in for a meal! There is a weird Charles Bronson statue on the bar, i would love to know what that is about!

The food was very nice but it turned up late so we wasn’t really that hungry by then.

Called to see where food was as it was 20 mins late and resturant guy was quite rude and dismissive... paid for popadoms that wasnt in my order ... food tasty but service not so great ... very disapointed

good portions, hot, early, just one let down after last time, the Paratha's where back in foil lined bags, which make them go soggy as steam moister builds up, last time they was in brown paper bags.

Tasty, good size portions and lots to choose from on the menu.

Delivery came earlier than expected and the food was warm. The poppadoms tasted stale along with the tandoori naan. The Korma was OK. The food was a little bit of a let down considering the great reviews and I probably wouldn’t order again.

Only problem. Paid £3.50 for 4 pieces of paneer.!!!! Very disappointed. Will DEFINITELY not order that again.

My go to for a Ruby Murray. Had something different, 3rd time of doing so and was pukka. Excellent value an all.

re lateness driver did explain, as to food was hot, and a great improvement on last couple of times we had food from here. Also was good to see the Paratha was in brown paper bags rather than those foil lined bags that made them go sort of limp and wet where the heat causes moisture.

Food turned up with part missing, which was fine, I understand human error... But then that part of my order took 30 minutes, to then find my paratha had what looked like paint brush strands inside it. Always ordered from here and never had issues previously, really dissapointed.

Fast delivery, food was delicious & will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend.

Driver seemed frustrated about delivery directions and was quite rude when he finally got to the door, asked me "if I was from here" and then instructed me on how UK postcodes work (I've lived here for 3 years...). I understand that he wasn't having a great night but it was really patronizing. Won't be ordering again.

Not sure I'd eat in, but the food was very good, portion sizes large - especially the sides - and stayed hot for long enough not to need reheating. This was the first time, but I'll definitely give it another go.

Staff friendly and came on time. Unfortunately the food was not as I hoped. Meat was dry, and an paratha tasted like fresh dough not cooked properly. Also asked for labels on food and all food came in containers unlabelled which was not good we had to guess who's was what. If I had allergies this could have been troubling

Our favourite Indian, and one we’ve ordered from time and again. Always great quality, always hot, always quick delivery. Great selection of milder curries for spice wusses like me, and plenty of options for my more adventurous other half!

Really lovely I don’t normally leave reviews but the portion size was great the taste was great the chicken was not dry at all which is what I normally get from other restaurants and the done what I asked on the notes Thank you This place will Defiantly be my new takeaway place from now on as I’m very fussy
