Beautiful family-owned bakery. The treats we tried were delicious. Friendly staff. Would recommend to all for a visit.

The sausage rolls in here are some of the nicest you can get and I love their freshly baked batches which are perfect for sandwiches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Only problem I have is that they closes at 3:30 but I’m guess this is because their footfall drops quite significantly after a certain time period which I can understand. They have a very nice selection of cakes and other sweet treats on offer too and you never need to wait which is great.

They do vegetarian pasties here… in theory. In practise it’s like the photo below. Guess which side the veggie ones are. I like the cheese and spinach ones but I can’t remember the last time they had two available. Ask and there’s never more than one in the oven. They must think vegetarians are so weird they always live alone! Although I doubt just vegetarians eat these. I’ve been there getting on for 10 times recently and they’ve never had two available. I’ve finally giving up trying.

Premium steak pie: Was full of Grease and oil with no taste of actual gravy in the pie, with two chunks of steak in the whole pie highly disappointing and won’t be going again.

The BEST Custard tarts on the planet. Delicious!

I bought a sausage pie and some sweet treats. Everything was so delicious! The staff is so friendly and kind! I will buy again and again. Highly recommended!

Best bakery in Chester. The pies and pasties here are by far the best, there are no chemically flavours as I find with Chatwins and Greggs. Ladies behind the counter are FANTASTIC! The service is amazing and they are so friendly. Only thing is you have to get there early to be certain you will get what you want. However, I completely understand this due to food waste. Sadly I don't get to go here as often due to new opening hours.

Thought this place was lovely, great bakes and great value. You'd be a fool to seek out a chain like Greggs or the Pound Bakery given the gulf in quality of ingredients and historical knowledge of baking. The loafs looked fantastic but was a bit too late in the day to get one at this time, but will be back to buy one soon.

Llegué con mi esposa para comer pasteles de carne picada, un personal encantador y amable y un poco de bromas. Lugar limpio y muy buena comida! Una visita obligada si quieres comprar pasteles n butties para llevar!

Llamado para satisfacer el deseo de nuestra hija por un rollo de salchicha. Buena selección disponible si un poco caro. El rollo de salchicha estaba perfectamente sazonado, pero tenía una textura blanda.

Tengo que confesar que voy cada semana aquí. . . . La carne y papas empanadas son geniales y hacen una oferta en dos. . . . . Los pasteles de carne están bien, pero no tan bueno como Sue cobardes de Frodsham, buena Tarta/Pastel/tienda de pan en medio de Hoole!

What an amazing little bakery, only went in for some nice fresh bread and came out loaded with delicious cakes as well.
