My first time in here,highly recomend

The food is halal with a good quality.

Good food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Only reason for 3 star is the portion size of the meat has gone down recently

First time at GDk Saturday 20/07/24 food was really nice full of flavour food arrived promptly did not wait long at all staff were very polite and curious very good atmosphere will definitely be returning really enjoyed it highly recommend German doner kebab👍

Very nice, restaurant immaculate service quick, I forgot to take photos as I was on a work break and was conscious of time. However, presentation of food..served in a lovely box generous portion of meat and salad fresh and very, very tasty I will eat here again.

Was very well presented , clean and tidy establishment, had the donner meat, cheese and chips was as good as it gets for kebab joints, was good though.

Always a good Kebab give it a go

I spoke to a young lady at the counter who was very polite at the initial conversation. After a bit of deliberation I decided to get a mixed doner box lunch time special and paid £2.49 for extra meat. I’ve tried the chicken doner box before in Preston and Manchester so my expectation was set. I didn’t try the beef doner so decided to go for a mixed doner box. When I received the food there was hardly any chicken doner in the box, what was there was black burnt bits of chicken (see picture for example) and the chicken that was there was very little and almost was shredded. Also the chips were also half fresh and half not so fresh. The fries on top had the flames spice on and the ones under were clearly not cooked at the same time and were colder and had no spice whatsoever. It was as if the lady making the food in the back couldn’t be bothered and just mixed up what she could. When I spoke to the counter staff lady at the front she said the chicken doner was on top, and spoke to the lady in the back who said everything was right. Which it clearly wasn’t. And when I explained it wasn’t much chicken doner there and I expressed my dissatisfaction, the lady did nothing about it and just walked away from me. This was not only rude but left me very dissatisfied. At least you can do if you claim to give the best Doner is make sure there’s enough in a portion, and that it’s not burnt crunchy bits that almost break your teeth. Don’t think I will recommend this place or come back again after a bad experience.

Usually a good experience, especially when ordering over apps. Going in after a few drinks in the town, serving slow, food is cold, they even missed the chips off my meal entirely

The food is ok but the prices are not if kebab is what you want go to the many kabab shops 83n the area

Food OK but quite quickly go cild , care full when order plain they no replacement ! No parking . Clean but empty.

This is my first time visiting GDK and the service and the employee Veeru was nice,clam and took the order with no issues I highly recommend

I just visited GDK today, ordered OG kebab. Got 2 dips as well. The beef kebab was really tasty. The guy at the reception was really friendly. I asked his name he said 'thamizh'. I like his attitude. Also dining the ambience was really nice. I love it. Thanks

Will not be coming back here the one in Sunderland is a thousand times better than this one do not waste your time here

Very delicious food, top quality and amazing service

I came to German Doner Kebab thinking the worst as I have seen and read a lot of videos online or posts where people say it is awful but I were surprised, it's pretty good. I enjoyed my experience there.

Food was absolutely beautiful as ever, we intended to eat in but it was just as cold as outside so we ordered to take out and sat in our warm car instead.

I decided to visit on a whim as I had wanted to try the food in the past and found that the food was affordable and of a very tasty quality. I recommend people to try it if they are looking for mild+ spicy food that also tastes great.

It was my fourth visit. The first time I went, it was wonderful with lots of shredded vegetables, cabbage and carrot. The meat tasted so good. The quality seems to have gone down on each visit less meat, less shredded vegetables. The sauces seem a bit cheap and tasteless, I couldn't even taste the garlic sauce. The kebab bread pocket was crispy and made a pleasant crunch on biting. There was plenty of meat and it was pretty good, just much less vegetables inside. Maybe they had just run out, or gave me a smaller amount because I bought it on promo £5.99. The place was spotless, black wooden interior and staff were friendly. I will probably go once more and then call it a day unless the next one has no improvement. It needs more shredded vegetables and better Sauces.

Ordered take away and only half order was delivered in sealed bag with full order receipt on the bag. Customer service was ridiculous and restaurant staff refused to deal with issue. Will not be ordering from here again!

We really like GDK and my son insists we go for lunch whenever we are in Middlesbrough. They are really good at catering to food allergies.

Overall, it's not bad, reasonably priced. The food was nice, but after living in Germany for 14 years and having a German wife, it wasn't what we expected. Yes, they mimic the flat bread but no tzatziki garlic sauce, mmmmm. 7 outta 10 for trying guys.

This was my first visit to a store and I was not disappointed. The food is outstanding and the service was quick and with a smile. The music in the store was not to my taste but it was still a good atmosphere.

Ordered beef kebab with extra lettuce and tomato and I received doner meat with one slice of tomato and 4 slithers of lettuce for £12!!

Food was spot on Decent price for quality grub. Atmosphere was a bit quiet and didn’t really interact with staff as used the self service. Recommendation- maybe someone could have asked if everything was ok. A little more staff interaction would be nice . Will be back though for the food ! Fantastic value, fresh meat and the pitta bread was unreal, garlic was freshly made in house and atmosphere was calm and unrushed, recommended it to many friends and will 100% be returning

Ordered 3-4 times for delivery every time had a problem the last time we didn't recieve the food

Absolutely shocking. Half the order was missing and the delivery took 2.5 hours. When I called the shop I was told the delivery wasn’t their concern and they can’t refund anything. Wanted to try something different but for the price and half a missing order I have never tasted kebabs like this - avoid at all costs absolute rip off.

Food and atmosphere are amazing. But just wanted to highlight the student discount. I know we have to order at the counter for a student discount, but some of the staff kept on pushing us to order at the machine, so we’re unable to get a student discount.

We come here really often cause the food is good and the portions are filling for the prices.

This is going to be a hard review but here goes, for the past 3 week my work mate i aye had been looking forward to treating ourselves, the day had come yesterday, he decided on a kabab box with chips & cheese, I opted from a kcal kabab with doner spring onions ( which we halved ), service was fantastic young female server help us with it been our first time, once paid we had a short wait, received our food and left the shop to head back to work within a few minutes we started eaten our meals we both ate it only because we where starving, to be honest it was horrible hated every bite I took I’ll never set foot in the door again a tad under £20.00 disgusting and a waste of money Sorry but it’s just how it is

Terrible. As a family we all got something different. The kebab was nice filling but the bread was dry as it had been left out. The jalapeño cheese poppers had no spice or no cheese in and seemed well done. Empty crispy shell. I near cracked a tooth biting into it. The chicken and beef spring rolls were dry as if they’d either been left out or re warmed. As I spent over £40 I was so disappointed. I could have went to a restaurant for the same price. I can honestly say I will never go back there again. When they first opened it was delicious and fresh. This isn’t fresh food.

First time we've been.didnt realise it was based along a fast food outlet,thought more a restaurant. Served very quickly by a lovely young lady who was very helpful. Food arrived soon after...chips were cold but the kebab was filling and delicious. Music too loud for a lunchtime when not many people in. Looked very clean as did cooking area.

Food was completely cold I had to take it back. No apolgy offered. Order was all mixed up not as ordered. Used the self service kiosk and there was no reciepts Tables were not clean and floor was dirty Ladies toilet had a notice not to use Overall shocking experience.

I just had chicken shawerma which is totally not good, and served with no respect and polite.

Totally amazing food, everything is so fresh, well presented, tasty and totally delicious.....Tried for the first time today and to be honest I'm a bad sceptic but this food was so good even I didn't complain.....I thankyou A+±++++++++

The treat I got from the Middlesbrough branch was excellent and I order the OG kebab that was discounted and I must say that I didn’t regret it at all. It was lovely, cream and well served. The environment was serene and this is where I’ll definitely spend all my money😂. Thank you for an amazing setup and for the warm customer service. It’s a five star for me

I paid 23 pounds for a sandwich with little meat. I only ate bread with vegetables. I apologize. It was a bad experience. I will not repeat it. I advise everyone to save their money in restaurants that serve a lot of meat in sandwiches.

The moment I entered the establishment the a lot by 21 savage this alone gives it 5 stars then the food came it was the best kebab wrap I have had in my life.
