I ordered a donner wrap meal without tomato on it and it came with tomato on so i went back in and when I ask to change it I was told there was a customization button to take it off which I did press and got told whatever I will change it

After we ordered, I realized how dirty it was. We sat in Foodcore. The kebab itself wasn't bad but not good enough for the price of £8.5.

The place has gone downhill since last time I've been here. Portions were half empty with pretty much everything we've ordered, the bread of the og was burned, cracking and half empty. The service isn't good either. Not coming back again very unfortunate, it used to be the best doner kebab place around

The prices were reasonable. The kebab was delicious, although the meat portions could have been more generous. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it was unpleasant to find chewing gum stuck under the table. The sauces were very flavorful, and the cheese balls were delightful. The wraps were excellent, packed with flavor and a generous amount of salad.

It's a terrible place, they serve less food, they are very rude, I asked for a student discount and they didn't give it, and it's the second time.

Came here with family, was £75 with boss boxes, very disappointed as got more chips and salad than meat. And in all boxes Same hardly any meat. Too busy to even speak to us. Donot recommend, won’t be back. Gdk in Lothian road much better.

A small diner with a good atmosphere. The food is very tasty and the service is superb. It's possible to pay with a card or cash. Sadly, there was no German music. Additionally, the amount of food is good and I got full. They take hygiene seriously and cover their hair.

What a joke... a third of a normal kebab for 8.50 pounds... taste wise... well... almost like at home... but for German tourists to try... you can do that... You won't get enough... it's a shame

This was my first time here and I love Doner’s back in the US. As I was in Scotland I wanted a quick bite and something different to eat. I’m glad I stopped in! The food was delicious the service was understandable and for the price it reflected my purchase. For all my fellow Americans this place is like the Arby’s of Europe. Amazing kebabs. Been in about 20 times for takeaway. Usually busy but good service with the machines and till service. Staff always very polite to me and even tell me which order Is which in the bag. Was walking out after picking up order, get to escalator. Gdk worker said give me wrong wrap and exchanged it. What a service. If this anywhere else, going away with wrong order. Great service from staff. Being quite a fussy eater, I love all the customisation you can do. Please open one in Livingston Centre👍🏻

Have been wanting to try this fir a while , so whilst in st james centre thought why not , what a waste of money , utter slop of food !, I had panini which had hardly any meat , I asked chicken and just tasted of the garlic slop they shoved on, they should be ashamed of serving that....last of my money, ever, a greasy spoon cafe could do better

Different kebab variations. The portions are a little smaller than usual, but they are super tasty.

Usually is very good, but lately portion are miserable full of salads you can even see meat, and doesn't giustify the price at all

I’m a regular customer to diner kebab Edinburgh and in the past 2 months I went twice to get an og kebab and I have found big and small pieces of kebab film that isn’t edible or digestible it’s clear and very hard to see and feels like rubber they should be carful and checking what they serve otherwise everything’s fine

Prices have gone from very affordable approx 5 pounds for a kebab to 9.60 in the span of 3 years. 10 quid, boys.... And it's not even lamb, it's cheap ground up beef. If you're lucky you get one entire tiny slice of tomato in your food next to heaps and heaps of red cabbage to hide the fact you only get about 100 grams of meat. Used to give wet wipes, no more. Was a regular, but for 10 pounds for a kebab I'll go eat at Doner Haus in Glasgow and actually have a nice experience.

The service was very unfriendly and the food was presented terribly, as if it were for an animal. I definitely do not recommend this place!

Yesterday I ordered a gym box for takeaway, and the box was half full. I'd expect a full box for £7.50. I also asked for extra lettuce and cabbage. I have attached a photo and you can see the amount of food. Normally I order from Lothian road and me and my friends are always very satisfied. At St. James's shopping mall there's always something. Very disappointed.

As Germans, we wanted to try the shop and it's not as good as the Antalya kebab shop in Harleshausen or Crunchy Kebab in Kassel, but it still tastes great

Ordered feed the family through deliveroo for my birthday party . We all had a great night , all my friends enjoyed their mains . Good portion and delicious kebabs , they were all packed nicely as I could feel them warm and fresh.

I am from turkey . I know how a kebab tastes like. The OG KEBAB is the real game changer. Tried this for the first time and honestly its a an absolute banger . This place is my favourite now, good food , friendly people & fast serving. Overall 9.7 / 10 .

Hands down the worst kebab I have ever had. Tasteless and bland. How can't you make a good kebab?. Miles off what you would get at a proper kebab gaff. And to make matters worse you will have to wait ages for it as they prioritise the endless deliveroo orders in front of you.

Worst GDK orders wrong or the foods over or undercooked one on Lothian road is far better

Location: Right in the beginning if you are coming from Princes Street. We had ordered the veggie one and chicken doner as takeaway. The guy did not close the box properly and it was cold by the time we reached our apartment in 10 mins. The taste wasn't that great. The veggie one was better though. The service really needs to improve. It looked like the guys were not happy with their jobs.

But disappointed that I can never get there app to work to get the offers

Ordered 3 Doner meal wraps & extra cheesy fries . Chips ( smaller than McDonalds ) all scattered in the bag & cold ( shop less than 10 mins in a car ) so would expected to be hot. Wraps luke warm at best. Also when ordering online , nothing was mentioned about the £5.04 service charge on top of the delivery & charge for the bag. First time customer and very disappointed about the quality and standard of food. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and I will not return.

Server got the main order wrong when I mentioned 3 times that wasn’t the item I wanted and when confronted regarding this just gave a blank look and said “and?” No offer to fix or refund just ushered away from the desk so could get back to talking. Very poor service

Did you know you can just walk in, sit down, and take other people's orders without any consequences? I didn't either until it happened to my family. My order was delivered to another table then I got told off by a member of staff that I ordered the food to the wrong table, which is not true I have my receipt as proof. No apology was given whatsoever. The customer service response was 'Sorry we will follow up on it'. So Watch out before they take your money and your food (?!) then they humiliate you in front of everyone sitting around.

Fries was OK, beef kebab was disappointing. Shaved beef tasted horrible and the texture was also weird. The table they gave us was dirty.

Tasty fresh food. Fast service despite how busy it was. We both had the kebabs with chilli and garlic sauce, portions are plenty full so make sure you go on an empty stomach!

Wir kommen aus Berlin, wo der ursprünglich des Dönes ist. Zudem bin ich noch Türkin. Also waren wir vor Ort. Es schmeckt eher nach Döner die man in Berlin von einem billigen Imbiss bekommt. Daher mein Tipp, das Gemüse war extrem kalt, also gehen wir davon aus das es im Kühlschrank war. In Berlin ist es draußen und wird immer frisch zubereitet, daher schmeckt es denn auch nicht kalt und sehr frisch. Und bitte mehr Soße. Und wenn ihr ein „typischen“ Döner macht, als erstes Soße an in Brot, dann Fleich, denn das Gemüse und dann noch etwas Fleisch und Soße. Dann wird es auch nicht gleich kalt. Aber die anderen Variationen waren interessant und nicht so schlecht. Ps die Karte von Berlin hat ein paar Fehler.🤣

Today I went into German kebab in st James quarter and ordered chicken OG kebab and i get my order, I look at the meat and see it’s kinda red, I went to take this up with a member of staff but as usual they were unhelpful and claimed the meat is fine, well for me.. cooked chicken should as close to white as it can, I do believe this store is not taking something seriously as this isn’t the first time, i requested a refund and went across the street to Waverley mall and the chicken there was normal. At st James quarter, I saw the chicken was fresh so I guess they just not cooked it enough.

Service here is usually weird. People talk to you like they don't care about what you're saying. They're always understaffed. I've had a few cases where people came to me saying that they had my seat reserved, but there was nothing marking that seat when I got there. Then an employee would come and say that yeah, the sit was reserved, but apparently it happened very informally and they didn't bother to mark the table. There's a sign in the entrance saying that you should wait to be seated but no one ever shows up. Food is ok.

Had some good recommendations from friends about GDK, so while in the St James shopping Center thought we’d give it a try. I went for the mixed meat quesadilla and my wife had the veggie burger. Both meals when they came were piping hot and really tasty, I cannot recommend enough. We will definitely be revisiting.My one criticism would be they needed more staff on duty, we waited about 20 minutes for our meals .the guy who served us was very polite and welcoming but he was just doing to many jobs , taking orders, boxing food up , taking the food to customers tables and cleaning the empty tables as well.he seemed really overwhelmed !!! All in all good food good value but they needed more staff.

I'm not sure if this is a scam or the latest product. I have been buying this wrap weekly for over 6 months now and have never received one this small.

Terrible customer service. Ordered food from the GDK website which sat in their restaurant for 2 hours. Spoke to the restaurant to find out where my order was, and was advised it was still with them. I was told to get in touch with customer service to get a refund, and they then told me that I need to get in touch with Uber Eats for a refund. I didn’t order anything from Uber Eats, I ordered from and paid money to GDK. Will not be using again.

Dreadful service - after nearly 2 hours, kebab delivery nowhere near. Called the shop, only to be told it is still sitting on their counter - I know that! Will NOT be using this "service" again.

Worst Kebab…bread was flat hard and chewy instead of toasty and crunchy. A staff said they meant to toast it less as hard to swallow! Though he tried to make up but said the manager refused to redo nor change it.

Πριν καθήσουμε απολύμαναν το τραπέζι. Δεν μπορώ να εξηγήσω τις τόσο αρνητικές κριτικές . Ο άνθρωπος που φαίνεται στην φωτογραφία , σε μια από αυτές , με εμάς ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και πολύ εξυπηρετικός . Θα ξαναπηγέναμε .
