One of the most incredible place’s in Mayfair, it’s a members club restaurant and bar, with beautiful members lounge downstairs and DJ. The stuff is so friendly and attractive to all the little details, it almost feels every time like you coming to your friends house, the waitress will remember everything about you! Delicious food, love sitting on the outside terrace in warm weather, that’s were you will find me in the spring!

Superb spot in London, out go to place to relax and dine. Love the atmosphere and the team always polite and on hand. Our corp guests love it too.

It's luxurious and elegant, blend of classic and contemporary design elements feel rich with its different textures whilst dinning here. I've meet with friends and work colleagues on numerous occasions and would recommend the visit!

Fine dining place. My client enjoyed the evening with 3 friends. Impressed with the ambience and hospitality including the menu. Fine list of vines available. Situated in the heart of London near Hyde Park and Berkeley Square. A high end restaurant be prepared to pay, it’s exclusive and expensive.

El rojo que nos recomendaron estaba lleno de sabor y delicioso. Muy encantador sería adecuado para un almuerzo o una cena romántica o de negocios.Todos disfrutamos el tazón de juglares.Una buena selección de platos clásicos. La suela de Dover estaba bien hecha como el cordero. Los interiores son encantadores e incluso en invierno los asientos exteriores son acogedores y cómodos.El cantante de jazz era muy bueno y las decoraciones de abajo eran muy bonitas.No puedo esperar para volver

They’ve gone all out with decorations for Christmas - lovely and great PR. However, they also had two reindeer in a very small pen on ‘display’ for people to take photos of - cruel and unnecessary. If they don’t seem to think twice about this obvious cruelty, how are they really approaching their sustainability and food sourcing?

Fui allí con un amigo que es miembro porque George es uno de esos restaurantes solo para miembros en Londres. Para ser honesto, al principio estaba un poco parcial, se ve elegante pero un poco anticuado, pero la calidad de la comida y el servicio demostraron que estaba equivocado, se recomiendan los platos deliciosos, las pastas y el lenguado de dover.

Diseño encantador, buena comida. De vez en cuando conoces un lugar que simplemente "funciona", este es un lugar así. Camareros discretos, buena comida y, a pesar de estar ocupado, nunca tiene que levantar la voz para ser escuchado debido a la buena distribución de la mesa. Muy agradable. ¡Es posible que tenga que encontrar a alguien que me nomine para ser miembro!

Beautiful place on evening we picked could not belive how quiet it was ...a party of four of us we got fantasic service staff so very nice menu was lovly great choices I had sole fish dish with tarter sauce so so nice .Really enjoyed my night at George .

Got invited here for a leaving lunch by a member. Its a good location for a quiet decent bite to eat. There is an outside seating area and an underground lounge area too. The main restaurant area decorated in Hockney artwork.

ロンドンの画廊のオーナーに案内されていきましたが、周りの雰囲気といい、店内といい、また地下のバーといい、洗練された雰囲気でした。食事も最高とは言えませんが、十分満足できる内容でした。グリンピースのスープにシャトーブリアン、マッシュポテトにしましたが、「シャトーブリアン」はちょっと言い過ぎかな？とも思える食感でした。スープもマッシュポテトは申し分ありませんでした。次回はドーバーソールを食べてみたいと思っています。

… George es bueno para escapar de este concurrido en πολλοί οἱ parte de Londres. La tranquila y relajante interior, aunque estrecho en algunos lugares, está bien servido por el personal encantador y bien entrenado, atento y percipient. Los muebles contribuir de manera significativa en la reducción de ruido, así los huéspedes pueden escuchar ellos mismos - y otros - y creo que tanto hablan, un cambio bienvenido de la mayoría de los restaurantes de hoy en día. Pasando la cocina abierta para llegar al cuerpo principal del restaurante es pasar un batallón de chefs, aparentemente docenas de todas ellas, produciendo predominantemente beavering platos italianos de sencillez sofisticada, la especie más difíciles.Vitello tonnato, yellowtail sashimi fue seguido por pasta con tomate y albahaca para mí y pasta con ricas, langosta empalagoso para mi anfitriona, todo perfecto en sabor, presentación, temperatura y tamaño. Cuando el ambiente está en conjunción con la comida es muy buena una visita a George debe ser una delicia - tome si ofrecía.

Recientemente cenamos aquí (por recomendación) para celebrar a nuestro hijo y nuera nos casamos en un hermoso día soleado en Londres. Con tanto totalmente defraudado el lugar y la comida. El servicio era terrible, la comida era promedio y mal presentado. Con una factura de £800 para 4 huéspedes sin duda esperaba más de un privado a los miembros del Club en Mayfair. No lo recomendaría.

Fuimos con nuestra hija, que es un miembro de este club privado Los Miembros y todo el personal de conocerla bien y ella sabe todo de ellos por nombre, así que podría haber dado un trato especial con la mejor mesa en la casa, en el frente de una ventana (de 16 grados día magnífico, así que podría haber tenido una mesa fuera, una buena opción). Comer en el frente mejor que en la parte de atrás porque de ventanas. La decoración no es nada especial en el comedor, el bar de abajo es muy acogedor y bien hecho, muy similar a la marca, Annabels birleys Club.

A great place here, as other reviewers say it's a Private Club so need to be invited, really like the downstairs so comfy and inviting, would love to go back.

Met business clients here for breakfast. Fantastic egg white soufflé, fresh fruit, great coffee. Excellent service and very comfortable. My new favorite spot for business breakfast or with friends.

There's many private clubs, bars, restaurants in London. Which means that your average tripadvisor-traveler will only get in as a guest of a member.So I did, I was lucky enough to be invited for lunch - up and down in a daytrip from South France.The weather was "quite nice" for a mid-October lunch to enjoy the streetside terrace, also more discreet for a quiet talk along the roadside.The food was nice, the service efficient and discreet, the bill I simply do not wish to imagine, as a guest you don't, simple as that!Location is Mayfair, just behind the Dorchester, close to Hyde Park, and, lucky for me, walking distance to Victoria Station for my Gatwick Express.If and when you get invited, say "yes please".

As a non-member of the George I was there as for a birthday party. We were served a set menu of tuna tartare, veal and cheese selection, none of which displayed any particular culinary prowess. There was more flavour in the cress than the tuna! The cost of this food, without wine was £110. This price blew me away. Over one hundred pounds for a very simple albeit well cooked meal. For that price you can eat dinner at a Michelin starred establishment like Dabbous, or have the signature menu at far more impressive Hakkasan. The price for the food was simply unjustifiable and can only be summarised as a rip off, no matter how much money you have in your wallet. I could not have left with a worse taste in my mouth than knowing what culinary experience I 'could' have had at that price.

Father's Day lunch staff totally unable to cope. I have been a member for probably 20 years,standards have dropped over the past few years gone from bad to worse.6 people waitedan hour for our starters and then a further 20/30 minutes for main courses, that did notarrive , we left at this point . Maitre d'aplogised said "he could not control the kitchen"This just about sums it all up!

Treated to lunch on Mothering Sunday,just lovely,I had the tuna starter,beautifully pink, followed by omelette Arnold Bennett,loads of smoked haddock covered in a perfect sauce,light but tasty,The chicken from the trolley was cooked beautifully ,which my host chose,two guessed joined me with the omelette,and the other guest being South african chose steak,which he said was excellent.

No-one in London makes better porridge, kedgeree, cooked English breakfast, ham, eggs, English Breakfast tea or coffee. Fabulous service, discreet, very well looked after. Sadly, members only.

Unusually quiet in the bar on the Monday night when we visited. Upstairs in the restaurant all was as it usually is - well-organised, good but not obsequious service, paced order taking, delivery and consideration.This time I tried my favourite linguini with clams, followed by braised beef, which was mildly disappointing, however it was braised, it was beef however it lacked some body and some taste - a butcher's problem not the restaurant's. A shorter menu than I recall from a previous visit, combined with a well chosen wine list, the overall lasting impression is of a dinner to reflect positively upon and one of the most consistently pleasant and serious places to eat in London.

Have been lucky enough to have dined here many times always a terrific experience! The fish is cooked to perfection,recommend the seafood bisque,yellowtail sashimi etc-easy to say I have never been disappointed! My last visit was for a light lunch please try the eggs Royale,the eggs Benedict are great too!Best of all this is a restaurant with very personal touch.Also as a dog lover I adore the canine art!

This place hasn't been updated but still has the old English charm. Food wise you can't go wrong, it has always been consistent over the years so rest assured you will enjoy your meal there. It also can easily seat in the back area a party of 6.

George is a comfortable dining experience;consistantly good.I am familiar with the menu & the staff take good care of us,always.on this occasion had the 'recommended white truffle pasta'.the truffle was dry,bland,,dissapointing.the tagliateli was sticky,tasteless,clingy.not a good day for this exotic dish.expensive,so expected far better.Chef should revisit the quality of these ingrediants.why didn't I complain at the time;I was hosting the evening of important customers,& being the only one who ordered this(thankfully),'put up & shut up'.I'm a regular,so will have a word on my next visit.its the first time Chef has let me down,so will be back.

Was taken here for a treat and it was excellent in all areas. The food was superb and the service flawless. The only thing is that it is almost like a formal atmosphere, so if you are wanting to do business over dinner, it just doesn't work because the waiters hover

The staff at George make it. The venue is lovely, the food standard to good, but the staff just wonderful. They know everyone by name, and you really feel welcome when you arrive. I regularly go for breakfast, lunch and dinner and cannot complain about anything ...

We are lucky enough to be members. Very expensive, so The Prof only allows me to have one glass of champagne!! We always feel very welcome and treated like members of a big family.Great uncomplicated food and wine, and excellent choices of cocktails. Excellent service. The Prof is upset that the bar snack menu has been changed, but it is still a treat to pop in on the way homefrom work.Outside seating area is overflowing when the sun shines. However, it is still the best place in London to watch Ferrari's, Lambo's etc............. (Forget Top Gear - come to George !)

The dining experience at George is so well thought through that I fail to find any negatives. The food really is magnificent. You can opt to start the evening in the bar downstairs, and they'll have your first course ready by the time you finish your cocktails. The courses are cooked to perfection in a warm, cozy, and inviting setting with an open kitchen. The staff are kind and professional, just as you would expect from restaurants at this level. What differentiates those at George from many other upscale restaurants in London, however, is that their kindness feels genuine. Add to that the wonderful food, and you've got a place perfect for romantic occasions, family dinners, or business meals.

The Prof and I are always treated like special guests. Superb friendly atmosphere. Outdoor seating which gets the evening sun - the best place to be at 6.00pm.Excellent food - most delicious risotto, filet of beef and chocolate desert.More chocolate buttons served with coffee...........Well behaved dogs welcome !!Expensive (but we are in Mayfair)

But I guess exclusivity is the "charm" of London. Had a member take me there for lunch and everything was fantastic from reception to seating to service to the food. You feel well looked after and everything flows perfectly. Its not cheap but if you can afford to be a member then this shouldn't be a problem anyway. I will look to meet more members!

Had two starters instead of heavier meal - excellent heritage tomato salad and smoked salmon with wonderful toast. Excellent coffee too. The chocolates were a bit like Smarties and the presentation a bit odd. Truly a first world problem for a very nice lunch with excellent service !

We ate here with a friend who is a member. It was very lively on a Wednesday evening. Althought the service was not as attentive and quick as you would expect the food was good. I had the beef carpaccio to start which was exquisite. For main I had the black cod is miso. The fish melted in your mouth and the sauce was just right - interesting without overwhelming the fish.The chocolate minstrels at the end with coffee was a nice touch.

I believe this is a member's only club. Our friends took us there and they were very accommodating as we just walked in. After some drinks in the basement, we were shown to our table.Everything was excellent - service, food, atmosphere.

The food here is good-as with all Caprice Holdings/ Birley Clubs there is a high standard-However since under the new management I fear the portions have been reduced and they have also allowed a huge number of people to join so the exclusivity of the place has gone out the window-

I visited the private club for a business meal.The service was impeccable, the wine served at exactly the right temperature. Fillet steak was cooked to perfection and there seemed to be no difference between the Bistecca Fiorentina taken by other members of our party and the way it is cooked in Tuscany.Full marks from me.

Breakfast is great and if you go try the poached egg, hash browns and bacon, its too die for! Lunch and dinner is of good quality but by no means the best in town. The bar downstairs is a good place to spend a few hours with friends.
