Called in on a Sunday lunch time having not booked and was shown to a table by Catherine who proceeded to give us time to look at the menu and supplied us with chilled water. Catherine was very attentive without being pushy, very professional and extremely polite. Would we go again ? Absolutely without question. 5*

Really lovely dining experience. Waitresses Lily & Catherine were so friendly and polite. Didn’t feel rushed at all & the sea food is amazing. Food came out in such a reasonable amount of time and was cooked very well. Will definitely be returning. We were indecisive on which wine we wanted so they came out and allowed for us to taste a few and really explain and allow for understanding of the wines. Overall fantastic experience!

We had friends visiting & wanted to take them somewhere lovely for lunch. I have always visited here in the week & enjoyed but never at a weekend, so made a nice change. Booked a table online for 12pm. We were seated by Catherine, really friendly and extremely helpful. Once we had ordered, Catherine came back to say the triple cooked chips were unavailable but could offer an alternative, which was fine. We had ordered 2 x Roast Lamb, 1 x Roast Beef, 1 x Catch of the day and 1 x Kids meal. All dishes were extremely tasty, full of flavour and great presentation, however, in all honesty, for us, the meat was too cooked, we would have preferred the meat to be more on the pink side. No ones fault, we just assumed it would be like the pictures on their facebook page. Desserts, the blow torch was playing up - I had ordered the Creme Brulee, so I opted for the Biscoff cheesecake instead, didn't disappoint, nor did the Brownie sundae my son had and the toffee crumble my friend had. Was quiet when we first got there, but by the time we left was very busy. All in all a great visit & definitely return.

Ridiculous wait for our starters and main, and then food was cold when it arrived. We returned 4 out of 7 meals as they were cold and 1 was still cold after a re-heat. Deeply disappointing. We will not be back

Probably the worst Sunday lunch ever. The service was appalling. They took the cost of my meal off the bill but that’s hardly the point. My advice would be get a new chef and give the staff some training. We won’t ever go back again and if you take my advice neither should you.

Went to their Elvis Tribute evening with Hertfordshires Legend Pete Webb! This was my 2nd time and both events were packed. It was so nice to be in the garden as we caught some summer sun, it ended just before 8 pm just in time for the football! Great vibes and great food! Highly recommend

Unbelievably loud and really bad Elvis soundalike which could be heard from one end of Graveley to the other. Absolutely intolerable. This is supposed to be a rural pub in a village but has been completely ruined by bad management who care not a jot about residents or customers.

My Liver & Bacon was excellent especially as they asked me how I liked it cooked so the service from start to finish was excellent. The Aubergine veg dish was good too. At the end the staff also kindly helped my disabled friend down the front steps whilst I got the car round to the front door as there were steps at the rear and at the front (but only 2). The WC is also down some steps but this is because it is a very old listed characterful building.

We went for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is light and bright with a welcoming atmosphere and the tables are well spaced out. We all had the roast lunch which arrived very promptly and was absolutely delicious. At a price under £15 including a generous portion of meat, Yorkshire pudding and perfectly cooked selection of vegetables, this is superb value for money. Our server Lily was delightful, helpful, very professional and ultra efficient, it was a pleasure to be served by her. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for Sunday lunch.

We had a lovely family Sunday lunch to celebrate my mum’s birthday- there were 10 of us and food was served at the same time, piping hot. There was a lovely choice of meats and the portion sizes were very reasonable. Great desserts too! We were served by Jo who was very friendly and attentive- definitely recommend and we will be back.

Called in on the off chance on a Sunday which is a busy time for most pubs. They managed to find us a table although we hadn't booked. We were seated and served with drinks by Jo who quickly dealt with our order. The meal itself took a little time to arrive, but it was busy. The quality of the meals were very good, and even served on hot plates which seems to be a rarity these days in many pubs and restaurants. All in all a good experience.

Nice atmosphere and Jo, who served us, was lovely. Food was nice just roast potatoes could have been more roasty! My gammon was beautifully cooked and cauliflower cheese was to die for.

I took my friend for lunch as an early birthday treat, we opted for the tuna panini and fish finger wrap which were really tasty and great value for money. Our waitress Trixabelle was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Love this place! Don’t usually write these sort of reviews but..Staff always friendly, great selection of beers and wines. The lunch special is such a good deal and the food is lovely. You have to try the biscoff cheesecake! Absolute heaven. Garden in the summer is also a must.

Most accommodating venue we have booked for a family birthday. Taking on a booking of 30 is no walk in the park and Jo and the team couldn’t have been more amazing. Communications prior were fantastic and they were brilliant taking on last minute extras on the day!
