Omg what can you not say!!! 3 course Xmas Dinner at 14.99 it was delicious from start to finish. Great new look so very welcoming and staff superb. I would come back tomorrow and do it all again. So satisfied so carry on the good work. Xx

Beautiful pub now it's been refurbished. Staff are always welcoming, respectful and helpful. I come with my family which includes two young children and have never had a issue. Lately it has been more busy so there has been waits which is too be expected but overall it's always a lovely experience.

The Gemini is my favourite place to eat with Family and Friends. The staff are welcoming and the place looks incredible after its recent refit. A small park that my child loves to play on and the food is bang on.

Popped in the other day for some food and drinks, got the £5 burger on Wednesday, good selection of toppings and came out quickly. The new refurb looks incredible, especially the new outside seating area, heating and shelter from the rain, drinks really good value for money, would definitely recommend

Food is mud, kid choked on frozen nugget had to go to walk in centre, also beer taps r rustie, not best pleased

4 meals ordered problem with three and drinks not as ordered. If the corned beef pie was giant slice I would like to see how small a regular one would be we debated if the chicken thighs were cooked enough and decided not onion rings left off and louisanna kebabs just chicken dipped in sauce. When the onion rings came out the two portions were like chalk and cheese one well done the other just touched by the heat. How can you get two lagers and lime wrong. Shame as a lot of money has been spent on the refit but the novelty will soon wear off.

Since Bev and Danny have taken over the reins they and the staff are smashing it out the park. Today we popped in for a birthday breakfast, quiet when arrived so grabbed a seat of our choice. Staff very welcoming and on the game. Food arrived promptly, and WOW what a plate full. I’d change a couple of things but that’s Greene King setting the menu (unlimited tea and coffee an option) Thank you Bev and Danny for running a fantastic welcoming PH for all to use. Highly recommended

Food lovely but service very slow. Emergency exit blocked and being used as a door to get onto the patio. Disabled parking not near entrance so a long way for my disabled mother to walk.

Oh dear, what happened here? Pub has just been refurbished and on the surface looks quite nicely decorated. However, the service has disappeared with the old wallpaper. We always use the Greene King app as it generally works for us. On this occasion, our drinks...

Reopened yesterday and OMG the transformation is amazing inside then you step out side where there is a large enclosed deck that is no smoking. Have a kids area and lots of outdoor seating. I would recommend.

Food was excellent, very good; especially with the amount of people in there.... However we never got our coffee's & mincepie; after waiting 3/4's of an hour, we left.

Came in on Saturday to have food and watch the England match. Two great things happened. 1 - We won - Its coming home, its coming !!!! 2 - the Service. I can't fault how good it was with big praise to Connor as he was run off his feet but still managed to help us and serve with a smile and a chat.

Went and watched football and just wanted to say thank you to Connor who provided excellent customer service despite it being busy. We will be visiting this pub again. They were adhering to social distancing regulations

Came in the Gemini on a Fri night for a meal and drinks with the family. Service was great, really friendly and helpful staff. Drinks were flowing and food was lovely. Was really nice to be back in the pub and felt very safe and well looked after.

Six of us ate here December 12th and it was a wonderful evening. Clean, COVID safety measures in place. The food was amazing Wetherspoons prices but quality above and beyond. Will definitely be going back.

Got to give this place top marks under the new management. We have made 3 or 4 visits since they reopened following the previous Covid lock-down and what an improvement on the previous management, the food has vastly improved as has the welcome from the staff since the reopening. The steak was great as are the burgers with fresh crisp chips, top marks go to the kitchen.Xmas family meal already booked and hopefully will go ahead, we stopped going here previously as it was going down hill but happy to once again call it our local. Hope the new management get the recognition they deserve.

We came today 14th September for our anniversary meal. Was welcome in by the lovely Abbi we had already booked was taking to our table. A gd menu selection we could order by app or have our food order taken as my requirements needed items took off, meals come out pipping hot and steaks cooked how we asked. Asked if we would like deserts which we did a nice choice, felt very safe in here every customer was asked to fill in the track and trace had app explained and all staff were wearing visors well done Gemini. We will be back again

We had lunch and found it to good value and good food. The pub is very clean and tidy. And the staff made us feel welcome. A good selection of ales.

Absolutely awful. 30 of us there, only had one waiter serving us, only one person working on the bar. Took and hour and a half to get our food to us. And one member of the family found a finger nail in their dessert. Would not recommend.

We love the Gemini, we always get together with friends and family here, its the best place locally to meet. Vicky & her team always go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. This is why we chose to celebrate NYE with our nearest and dearest & Wow they certainly excelled in bringing us together to celebrate, amazing team.

post Christmas and asked a good friend where we could eat in Dereham on a Monday. recommended The Gemini. Menu might be basic, but food was hot and plentiful, well cooked, on warm plates and served with a smile. for the cost, the standard and welcoming we could not fault it. as we left some were putting up more lights for New Year. we got such a friendly goodbye and chat, def go back. Thank you to all on duty at The Gemini today you did your pub proud, Happy New Year to you all.

This is my second review for Christmas lunch at Gemini my first was so poor but after my kids kept telling me they have improved so much over the past year and beginning me to come down for Christmas lunch with them. I was not sure what to expect but OMG what an improvement from last year the lunch was absolutely fantastic this time they must have had a new chef. The food came out lovely and hot and fresh the kids had toys on the tables waiting for them on arrival which was absolutely brilliant on our part. all the staff were dressed for the occasion which was really nice to see also they kept coming over to the table to check all was fine which it was. I hope my kids will invite me again for next year’s Christmas lunch I will not hesitate to say Count me in. thank you everyone at Gemini for changing my mind I had the best Christmas lunch ever

Went as a family of 5 with the youngest a 10 month old baby and found the staff more than helpful. The table was beautifully setup with a present for the children which I thought was a lovely touch. The food was to a high standard and the staff were brilliant and looked lovely in their festive clothing a big thank you to all the staff who got stuck working Christmas day and a special thanks to Carla and Liam for their brilliant service

Excellent. We had a fantastic meal, served quickly as we has requested. Our mum is in a wheelchair and one other person was diabetic in our family group and the staff were so helpful and kind and fun. This made our whole day really special and there was plenty of food and it was so delicious. We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff and kitchen staff for working on Christmas Day and making our Christmas Day so special.......a special mention to Carla who was a little ray of Christmas sunshine. Absolutely brilliant, service and food was first class. All served correctly and on time by really friendly staff all wearing festive clothing too. We had a really great time. Will be back in January. All the staff were lovely but special thanks to Carla and Liam.

My children took me for my birthday meal tonight. Big mistake.. We stuck to the dirty carpet on entering and my husband stuck his elbow to the bar surface when ordering drinks. The Gemini was empty except for just a few groups (this should have said iit all) The food took an eternity to arrive. Could ths have been due to the long haired children running in and out of the kitchen?? The walls above us were festooned in cobwebs and 2 of our party had to search empty tables to find clean cutlery as most was dirty. The food arrived floating in grease. The chicken was bloody to the bone and the veg dried out as it had been cooked hours earlier. The waiter tried to clear the table before we had finished. The biggest shock (as if this was not enough) was the back garden.. we thought there was a blood splatter on the back step, which turned out to be a very wet red napkin that had been there for weeks and moulded to the step. We had an ugly horse box to our right, nicely embellished with broken plates and to our left were old and broken restaurant chairs. Lovely...This apparently being a play area for children.. Please dont bother. I am writing this review before the food poisening sets in later because my husband already feels quite ill.. Go at your own peril.

We went in for a family meal, and received a very warm welcome from the staff. All food was cooked as requested, and got a big from our three children, one of whom can be very particular about their food! Plenty of crafts and games to keep the children entertained, so we were able to relax and enjoy drinks after lunch. We will definitely be back!

First time visit, but we will return. Quiet when we arrived early on Tuesday 5 November, but several customers came in to add to the atmosphere. A new menu is full of choice for all tastes including vegetarian and gluten free. My wife chose chicken mix, two chicken skewers from a range of different flavours with dips, crispy chips and garlic bread. I had beer battered fish, chips and mushy peas. All delicious, served promptly and with a smile. Only £14 total

Really pleased to see that this pub is finally thriving. Lovely atmosphere with great hearty pub food. Good selection of food options on the menu too. Inside eating areas are spacious, clean and tidy. In the summer the garden is wonderful to sit in as well as the great play ground area for the children to occupy themselves. Toilet facilities are clean! The gemini is very family friendly! Lovely staff, always smiling and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

I go here pretty regularly once a week at least good friendly service always activities to do and see including band nights and live sports. Foods always been good never had an issue and is affordable

Served by Connor and Liam tonight who were so caring and amazing advised us on the best food and Connor made us the most amazing cocktail because we couldn't decide what to have. We will be coming back because of them. Thank you guys

As it was so hot we decided to go out to eat. We were looking for somewhere for a family get together in the evening next week. We'd heard a lot of good reports about The Gemini, so decided to try it. We were welcomed by a nice young man who took us to our table. Next to us were 4 ladies who have been having lunch every Sunday for about 8 years. The food came quickly and was of good quality as well as a full plate.

Not been here for quite some time as went down hill, with food quality and service. But had been told it was good again, so tried it out.So pleased that it’s back on track. Great value for money food, with good portion sizes.

The food is pretty decent here, standard pub grub at reasonable prices. It’s family friendly with a large dining area and next to a park play area. Staff are very accommodating and reserved a table by a screen for us so we could watch a particular sports match.

Ordered 2 x cheese burgers and chips and it took over an hour to get to us. Queried several times where food was and got very little help. Eventually went up to the bar and a very stressed member of staff tried to find our order even though we had the receipt. The initial order had been put through incorrectly and instead of just sorting had to find the order in the till. When we eventually got our food the burger was ok but the chips were cold. My husband asked for a knife and fork and was told he would have to get up and go and look for some on the other tables. Poor service.

I wouldn’t ever have tried the place had it not been for friends. The whole place is run by a superb friendly and young staff. We ordered food (which actually arrived incorrectly but was immediately corrected) which for the price was superb. A great fun, family environment. Definitely visiting again. And definitely keen to sample a different burger from the menu. I’m now a bit annoyed we hadn’t tried it a long while before now...!!!

Visited for lunch first time I have been there to eat and have to say it will be the last. Our drinks glasses smelt of stagnant water and they were poorly cleaned. Food took ages to come out and parts of it where undercooked. One of our party had a burger and this was very poor quality and tasted like cardboard.

This is a great pub which I think is recently under new management/ownership. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the food is great. It's simple stuff but it's perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced (had a steak and chips for less than 7 quid!!)

Always welcoming and good service.....a few teething problems with glasses piling up at busy times and not enough staff. But the atmosphere and staff always good ....just need a bit more organisation at busy times but overall a lovely place to spend times with family and friends

I visited the Gemini on Monday for lunch and the food was delicious as always. Im here visiting my family and it feels like home from home. The staff are always friendly and lovely and makes you feel at home. There is absolutely nothing I can fault about the Gemini. And as for the manager Vicky, she has made the pub into a lovely place and should be so proud of herself and her amazing staff. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Great value food and drink here in the relaxed atmosphere of a family and dog friendly clean establishment. Top Manager and Staff giving great customer service which is appreciated. A nice varied menu choice with many offers and good beer you can’t go wrong here.

Had a few meals in the evening here, can not fault the staff or the food. Kirk and Vicky go out of there way to make sure everything is ok. Listen to what the customers feed back is and work on what ever need to be done. A very large beer garden for families to enjoy a relax and food

Visited Easter Monday for a family meal, the service and food was amazing and will definitely being visiting again. Lovely garden area for the children to play.

Since being under new management I cannot recommend this pub enough!! The atmosphere is relaxed and all the staff are friendly and helpful. There is always plenty of entertainment to suit all tastes and fun filled theme nights and activities for children in and out of the school holidays makes it my favourite place to be! The food is delicious and service is fast and always with a smile nothing is too much trouble for Vicky and her team!! Highly recommended

We have had a couple of meals here in the last month. The food is fantastic and steak cooked exactly as asked. Portion sizes are great and all food arrived together and tasted amazing. Kids play area secure and with the restaurant seating it is easy to keep an eye on them. Seating also available outside. Good location on the edge of town with plenty of parking. We have also been to the breakfast with Santa here and the friendly welcome from staff is consistent whatever the occasion. A lovely warm and friendly pub/restaurant. Will be going back!

My family and I visited The Gemini for food and a few drinks. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the food was absolutely delicious and the whole family really enjoyed it. there was a bonus of when we had finished our food there was live music which helped with the amazing atmosphere.

We took the girls to an Easter egg hunt and Easter breakfast today, very well organised, food was great, staff were friendly and the children had loads of fun playing in the garden. We have been here several times recently and have always been more than satisfied with the food and service. Perfect for families, highly recommended
