Myself and my partner had a great evening, 3 course dinner and a lovely bottle of wine plus after drinks under 100 pounds. The staff were really friendly and the service was fast. I had fish which was amazing with side of vegetables. Really good food. We were thrilled overall and we loved the experience!

I have been known on several occasions to go to Gelato Rialto for a scrumptious ice cream after having a meal at a local eatery. I would much rather nip over the road and be spoilt for choice on what Gelato have on offer rather than have a dessert at the restaurant/cafe/pub!!

Wow... Where to start.. The longest part of your visit would be to choose which ice cream to have, my favourite coconut not easily available anywhere, my sons favourite Ferrero rocher my daughters cookie. Mouth watering gorgeous

Food takes a long time to come out, I ordered spaghetti bolognaise and I had to send it back because there was barely any meat on it! The waitress did not seem happy when I asked this, she gave me a dirty look when she brought it back to me. The food, other than that is really great but the older man who works there would not give me a cone for the ice cream when I requested one, he said they were for takeaway only (this was at 9 oclock at nights) so I could not have one, it seemed like they give preferential treatment for people who take away rather than who were in the restaurant, he could not think outside the box and appeared to be lacking in common sense. He would have rather I didnt have any ice cream at all that have one in a cone! But when we came back a second time, the waitress was more than happy to give me an ice cream in the cone so it all depends on who is working there at the time!

The gelato is delicious. Although the establishment in the picture has moved to rialto lounge, the gelato is still just as good! So many choices...

Great gelato all made on site. Try the Mojito but take your own Bacardi. 34 flavours to choose from, great value. Kids will have a field day

I stayed in the Vineyard Hotel during COVID before and the experience of that and the Visitors Centre was exemplary. Fast forward to 2025 when I returned with my parents and what a different experience it was. *Granted this latest review is about the Visitors Centre only (not the hotel)* Firstly the main café in the bright conservatory style room was devoid of food options, just soup and sandwiches were the savoury options! They did have lovely cake options however. Staff here were lovely though (just want to point that out). Move onto the gift shop where the staff were efficient, albeit a bit militant - so, lacked a bit of warmth which would make for a nicer experience in a countryside vineyard. Move onto the receptionist in the lobby who we were signposted to, to enquire about the tours and tastings. She appeared like back office staff at a desk hidden behind a computer. She didn't even offer any welcome as I approached. I had to commence the greetings before the query which made me feel distinctly like she wasn't the receptionist. She proceeded to engage me from behind the desk not making any attempt to come to the front desk which contained to make me feel like I was enquiring with the wrong person and was disturbing her. As I enquired about booking into the tasting and tour. She advised the tours don't start until the end of March and tastings are midday only. Completely contrary to what the website which stated the tours availability are "year round" and I told her this as it was the reason we decided to visit it that day. She seemed a little surprised but generally non fussed. Like "oh does it say that" well that's not correct. No apology for the misinformation nor any urgency to take note and ensure the information is corrected on the website. I was so unimpressed with the customer service and felt, for the visitors centre, they didn't want any visitors at all! Come on Denbies, you can do better.

This restaurant is AMAZING🤩. For vegetarians and meat eaters alike it is amazing. My family have been going here for 25 years and every single time it has been amazing. Also it is very family friendly and if your children are waiting for food and have got bored there are some fish opposite the counter/ left of the entrance. Also no alcohol is allowed but it is very handy as tescos is only across the road. Also if you have warm beer they will happily trade it in for a cold one out of their fridge
