Beautiful place, super relaxing, fair prices and friendly staff. We stayed at the hotel too, everyone was friendly and the food was excellent. Some minor issues: - they did forget to do a little birthday celebration for me despite being reminded 3 times by my partner that it was my birthday that day - they also forgot to give us a dog room even though we spoke about the dog on the phone and where the dog friendly areas were, luckily they had one available

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot at many venues, and Denbies Wine Estate truly stands out as one of the most picturesque locations. I recently attended a civil wedding here, and I was blown away by the natural beauty and versatility of the estate. The rolling vineyards provide a stunning backdrop for outdoor shots, offering endless opportunities to capture breath-taking photos in natural light. The estate's indoor spaces are equally impressive, with elegant interiors that create a perfect setting for both intimate and large gatherings. The combination of natural surroundings and stylish interiors allowed me to get creative with my photography and deliver a wide range of images that the couple absolutely loved. The staff at Denbies were also incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their professionalism and attention to detail contributed to a seamless experience for the couple and their guests. If you're looking for a venue that offers both beauty and flexibility for your wedding photography, I highly recommend Denbies Wine Estate. It’s a dream location for capturing unforgettable moments!

Booking can be done online and thank you to the staff who remembered that it was my friend’s bday (i placed a note during online booking which i forgot lol) - they gave him a glass of wine upon arrival. Food wise- it’s reasonably priced. Huge serving and delicious. We got pork cutlet for main and lentil soup for appetizer. Dessert is just okay the brownie bite was kinda hard but overall it was an amazing lunch experience. Theres an art gallery within the estate and gift shop worth visiting. We werent able to do a vineyard tour coz it rained but we will definitely come back. Shout out to Kai- she’s very accommodating and warm to the gallery restaurant customers. She’s the one who took our order and served the food. All staff were lovely.

A really nice experience, from the welcome to our party to the farewell when we left, the staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful, we were met at the coach park for a ride on the train to the visitor centre where we had tea coffee, orange juice and biscuits, then a train ride through the vineyard with lovely views over the countryside and acres of vines with a very interesting informative talk about the different varieties and the benefits of the chalky soil, then an internal tour with a chance to see how the wine is stored and bottled, and tasted some of the wines. We then had time to have lunch in the restaurant with a good choice of food at very reasonable prices, followed by visits to the shop where we purchased some wine, the farm shop and art exhibition. Highly recommended.

What amazing artistary and workmanship greet you when you visit Denbies Vineyard this summer. The Zimbabwe Statue and art team who are based out front have an incredible array or work on display that they have brought over with them. The impact and creativity must be seen in place to fully appreciate their impact. We bought three sculptures from them at extremely reasonable prices, two for our family to honour our recently departed Dad and 1 for my brother and his wife. The team were professional, courteous and kind and delivered and installed the works as part of their excellent service. We’d like to say Thank-you to them and well done Denbies, they are a real reason, amongst many, to visit your fab winery. Dominic & Alison

First impressions not great as we were greeted coldly by the lady on reception and felt as though we were intruding on her work on the computer. However things improved once we were handed over to Jeremy for our tour and tasting. He was fantastic, building rapport with guests, knowledgable and funny. Generous wine quantities offered during the tour. Estate is nice to walk round too. Shop with wine and wine-related goods but also a whole load of rather random products too. Lovely light cafe in the centre of the building with drinks and snacks plus a couple of choices of main meal. Additional farm shop is also worth a visit for local produce.

The 4 of us did the "A Taste of Denbies" experience which left a lot to be desired. Would not recommend it for 62 gbp that is charged. The description on the website is misleading and hypes up things a lot- eg there is no tea/coffee that is offered. Yes you do get 1 wine tasting,- in plastic glasses up a hill. Then you head back for dinner, which was decent, but again you would expect more.

The vineyard itself is lovely. Large enough, well developed with amazing view. The guides are lovely and explained everything in details. The wines are great too. Compare to other English wines I’ve tried, they are among the top. However, the reception lady is not very helpful. She just directed me to the hotel without asking me what I’ve booked. The hotel did not let me to store the luggage there because I don’t have a hotel booking. I was there only for the wine tour and tasting. The hotel asked me to store the luggage at the reception. That is just fine. But when I went back to the reception, the reception lady was very impatient and unprofessional. She didn’t say anything to me even though she made a mistake. To become a successful vineyard is not that easy. With a disappointing reception makes it even harder. You are now one of the most successful wine estate in the UK. Please don’t let that small mistakes ruin your hard work. Get them on training.

Once again British wine outlets are pricing themselves into oblivion. Now the wine game is only for the rich unfortunately. My father in law wanted to buy my wife and I a bottle of pinot noir, and so he did at great cost getting on for £30. Sorry but the quality wasn't even close to good enough, we'll use the rest for cooking. However it used to be a great day out at Denbies over previous years but alas you're halo has slipped dramatically nowadays. But I do get the impression that you are having the life squeezed out of you by rates and government taxes and rising overheads plus care of the vast grounds that you work, so I do understand and commiserate with you. I rather hope you get back to how it used to be.

Got woken up at middle of the night by a faulty fire alarm which took some time to turn off. Then in the morning once we got to the estate for our tasting, were told that despite us informing in advance and confirming about our small dog - were told that dogs are not allowed and we are free to make our own arrangements. Basically had nothing else to do other than cancel the rest of the day and just go back to London. Ended up being a very expensive and sub par country side overnight stay. That said, the hotel itself and the staff very very nice.

Many people are very keen on the wine from here such as international tourists I have been here with. It is expensive due to high UK tax on wine compared to the low tax in France and Spain and I would imagine to the lack of economies of scale compared to giant vineyards abroad. Also, the climate here is not right for grapes due to their need for constant sunlight so the fact that Denbies can produce any wine at all is a miracle. I have vines in my garden nearby and 2 out of 3 years the grapes just shrivel and die. Therefore, congratulations to Denbies as they obviously know much more than me!

We prebooked the night before, then on the day checked in at reception. It was a very easy process. They also have restaurants, vineyard tours, a large gift shop and more. The cafe had lovely cakes though the tea servings were a bit small for being a ‘large’. The gift shop had an interesting selection to peruse, including 20% off their bottled wines. A couple of our friends had the veggie option and said the whole dish tasted the same, not much flavour and requested more gravy. Pudding was a chocolate tart with orange creme, it was a bit mediocre tbh and lacked the vavavoom for a xmas party. The "orange creme" wasn't very nice and was more like a warm frothy foam.

Went to the Surrey Care Awards at Denbies last night and had what was unfortunately the worst vegetarian meal I have ever had. The centre piece of which was apparently raw cauliflower

Went for a wine tasting, although the food and wine parings were nice, the staff seemed to had forgotten us, waiting up to 30mins between wines while watching other tables being served. For the £40pp it left a sour note. Speaking to reception on the way out it felt as though our concerns were not heard.

Terrible place, the food is subpar and I wouldn’t recommend. It was a run down place, an extremely underwhelming experience.

Great place for a walk, lots of hard standing to avoid all the mud. They also do a nice hot chocolate at The Hatch.

Used The Lounge for afternoon gathering after Dad's funeral. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything we asked for was acommodated. Sharon couldn't have done more for us.

Lovely place and people but very disappointing with basic food order with wrong ingredients and basic requests on how to be cooked simply ignored

Had the chicken korma which was tasteless and very unappealing the way it was served. My friend had the pie which was way overcooked and very dry. Very poor selection of wines.
